Benefit of doubt is better than blatantly accusing someone of being a scammer, that's why I asked couple of questions, weather volunteered or know any local NGOs supporting sick children. Went through the response, wasn't bright, and happens in this forum. Charity comes when you have experienced it/gone through it/lived it…otherwise it's just an offhand expression off getting rid off some taxes. Guess I wandered through off topic. Went through Belarusian children's fund, helps a lot of children without any differentiation, really good initiative.

Apart from Pineapple fund there is Bithope. You can start a campaign there. Right now there is a campaign running, no child should grow up alone - Radi's new Christmas. The campaign has a video and backed by a popular NGO, SOS Children's Villages.

https://bithope.org/campaign/support-radis-new-christmas-campaign

And there is another campaign, support Edward Snowden, here's how we take back the internet. Short description and Snowden's official Bitcoin address.

https://bithope.org/campaign/support-whistleblower-edward-snowden-with-bitcoin

Not saying you are a scammer, but like you said you will register a charitable foundation and upload a video, you have to do these things first to make your cause look legit or you have to be someone like Snowden. Have you volunteered for any NGOs that are into helping sick children in you locality? Rather than registering your own foundation, for a start isn't it better to associate yourself with a well-established NGO supporting your same cause (fundraising for sick kids) and start an online campaign on Pineapple funds or Bithope?

You think this person might not be a scammer?

Ask yourself this, what reputable charities are on this forum begging for money? Most reputable charities don’t know about bitcoin or how bitcoin works so why would they beg for bitcoin? What reputable charity have you ever seen go to a public forum and beg for money? What reputable charity does not have a website? Why would a respectable charity that may know about bitcoin know about Ethereum and ask for donations in that too (maybe Litecoin but not Ethereum)?

If your still not convinced, Belarus requires all charities to register. Ask for the registration number. If you really want to help sick children in Belarus then contact the Belarusian Children’s Fund here: http://www.bcf.by/en/

I realized that you are a skeptic. Well .. I indicated the two most popular crypto-currencies.
I'm not an authority charitable organization. I am an individual and I want to prove my competence before registering the fund.
Accepting donations in the crypto currency is simpler and more effective today. No fund accepts the crypto currency today and this slows down the collection of donations.
And once again I want to say that I am ready to show my passport to prove that I'm not a fraud. But I am sure that you will say that I am a scammer, even if I disclose my data.

OK, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. I’ll also give you some free advice that will help you and keep you from wasting your time. Stop posting on this forum begging for money because the people here have been scammed too much over the last seven years and will never give you a dime. If you really are a humanitarian and care about these poor sick children then donate your time to the Belarusian Children’s Fund. If you continue to post here even after this warning then I know that you’re a fraud and a scammer.

Btw: government documents are easy to fake. Just ask any kid that’s used a fake ID to buy alcohol.

I regularly donate money to children. I really wanted to help, using the blockchain, because it's quick and easy. But you are right, a lot of scammers who deceived you for seven years, so you no longer believe anyone.
But you are right. I stop my desire in this thread. No one is interested in this, unfortunately.

Good move on abandoning this thread. If you want to use crypto to help the children in your area then contact the Belarusian Children’s Fund (they have a street address, you can go there if your close enough) and convince them to accept all cryptos. Offer to help them set up the donations, figure out a place to get the fiat conversion for free (yes, that’s possible at several places for verified charities), help them with the website donation addresses and wallets. You can help in the way you want if you’re serious.

Ok. This is a boy- https://unihelp.by/child/knyazev-vladislav
He needs an operation so that he learns to hear and speak. It remains to collect approximately $ 2500. I propose to help him, because the amount required is not big and it will allow me to prove my honest intention to help. I will show the community proof of the transfer of money to parents.
$ 2500 is not worth losing reputation, because in the bounty program, I can earn in a longer time. But the child is growing and the operation needs to be done quickly.

Diagnosis of a child:
sensorineural hearing loss of the 4th degree.

To give this child a chance to hear and speak for a new year, you need to collect $ 2500!
I ask you to believe my undertaking.
If there is a holder of the crypto currency, who will decide to help this child alone, I will call the charity fund his name!

Wow, i don't have enough money to donate but my deepest prayers are to you. I salute you on what you are doing, this is a selfless act. Instead of taking your cryptocurrency on your own, you donate it to the one who needs it truly. Despite of all the hardship there are still among who are trying to help to the others.

Thank you, I want to start helping sick children. Children are not guilty of anything, they have no state, borders and politics. They just want to live.

Yeah.. no. Not because you're a full member it doesn't mean you're already trustworthy. I'm really sorry if you're really planning on helping out though.

To the readers:
If you wanted to donate to charitable causes, check out the charities that PineappleFund has recently donated in: https://pineapplefund.org/#charities
It's not worth risking giving money to a stranger that we're not sure if we can actually trust.

Thanks for pointing out two things. Rank on this forum means something, but is in no way a guarantee of anything. Even Trust scores are helpful to a certain extent, but offer no guarantee of anything.

Secondly, PineappleFund still has several million dollars worth of Bitcoin and are happy to consider good causes. To OP: suggest that if you really have a good cause, and are willing to spend a bit of time working on proposals, visit the site and submit your application.

To all readers: charity was very much alive with early crypto adopters, and there are statistics showing that more people are giving in crypto (so hey, it's not all about profit and money). Give to any cause, but give responsibly. Look for causes that have high accountability - for me, my bias and experience says the Red Cross almost anywhere in the world is one such example. Public records of audited finances, and for certain amounts (I believe above $800) you can pay an extra 3% fee to have custom, detailed accounting and reporting on your contribution.

And see this organisation that's trying to get blockchain to help charities be more transparent and accountable: https://app.helperbit.com/

That was such a touching story. Considering that there are never any scams that originate from former soviet block countries I just sent you all my money. Please use it to help those poor children.

Hmmm... you might try to get yourself registered as charity or something, I am not familiar with what license you will need etc. But as you say many will see you as scammer. Nobody loves to be played with their money, trust me, you want to look as legit as possible - because you are legit at least from the words you say you are. Starting is always the problem, in everything in life, but as your charity grows and earns credibility you can be sure that then most of the people will be near and donate some money.

Don't give up, I know that its hard at beginning, but you are doing all this for great cause.

Good luck!

In any case, this is a very good idea and if you really pursue only good purposes, I wish you good luck. But in the charity industry, things are not that simple. You need sponsors, and sponsors need proofs, you need platforms, documents that will help you to believe in you. Work on this.
But I can start with a few children .. And gradually grow.

Good for you Hellen. At least if it's all true. It's a good plan to raise funds to help sick children and for sure many people in the cryptocurrency space are willing to help and spend some of their gains on charity. The point is, nobody wants to be cheated. So you need to proof that your intentions are honest.
I understand it. I can show my driver's license and my passport to a member of the forum with a high rank. If the community responds and donate, everyone will see my documents. When we help 2-3 childrens, I will register an official charity fund. I really want to be a mediator in help, and I would never deceive the children and their parents in distress.
