Scrypt was actually a good choice. Lots of scrypt ASICs out there that are more energy efficient than GPU mining, means the people mining this coin don't have to murder mother earth to make some profit.

All the GPU miners need to accept the reality that their hardware is ancient tech now. Yes, there are algos that were made to keep ASICs out. Those are people who just can't let go of yesterday. Seriously, an analogy would be the guy with the Model A Ford demanding that freeways be blocked off and no BMW's, Mini Coopers, Audi R8s, Ferraris, Lambourghinis, etc be allowed at all - because they are just too damned good and the old boy is too poor to buy something reasonably current. GPUs are for gaming and video editing. Xalgos are for destroying Earth and extending the death-throes of the GPU as a mining tool.

scrytp algo! Bravo try.

Oh, yeah - Twitter and Facebook posts also make your promotional efforts look childish and suspect. I forgot to mention that in my previous entry. You are trying too hard to dangle the bait. We're afraid to bite because of your over-efforts.

Calm down, rethink the coin itself, its features, and its infrastructure. Shut up with the commercials. We aren't teenage girls and we don't like drama, surprises, or mystery.

I'm not concerned about the language issue. Not everyone in the world speaks fluent english. The dev's communication skills are decent enough that I am confident I clearly understand what he is presenting. I do think it is possible that the dev sometimes does not understand some of us perfectly, though.

My biggest concern actually - the dev seems to have invested more time and effort making the sales pitch look pretty and sound HYPISH and GEE WHIZ WOWIE. Less time was put into thinking about the more important things such as block time, block reward, and so forth. I was hoping that a bit of harsh criticism would spur him to make some adjustments before launch, because other people giving the same input more gently hasn't done any good at all.

Dev, last month was a big round of scam coins and fail coins. Many of us have already grown tired of hype and gimmick. Quite a few of us are very cautious about falling into another scam like the dozen or so that have just happened. Give that some serious consideration. We want solid coins that will function longer that 48 hours and won't need wallet updates or have issues with block chain forking.

Releasing the wallet for download but having it password locked was a big mistake. We couldn't scan it for malware. It was as though you had given us a nice big chocolate bar locked in an armored glass box and telling us we can have the key TOMORROW. You should have held onto the wallet or released it without a password. That is what I meant earlier when I made a comment about Tease Marketing. This is not television, you are not Apple with a new iPhone model to hand out. Hype makes people very VERY suspicious.

There are other things that are relatively minor, that could have been or could be improved.

I do not understand what you write if for you this coin does not mean anything, give it a rest and stop writing negative things themselves, and secondly as if you were not interested in it you would not have written about this

If you read this and take it seriously and you DID appreciate your hashpower you won't jump in. At least i'm out.

shayr is legit, ive seen him quite a bit in freenode irc.

whether the coin does well, we will just have to see.

im adding this to my pool at launch, dont care about a bounty.

it'll be available on goldmin.es after source code is release.

I believe it exists but you never posted it in the thread as being ready - so how do I know you are not a personal friend of his and he listed your prior to my pool in order to give you free coins - this guy is getting off to a bad start by the apparent lack of transparency.

I'll offer a pool for the coin but only if it's pure scrypt - not X11 - sorry

Well, I concede your point on that one. I should've posted in the thread in addition to sending a PM ftresfi. In relation to the coin type, it should be pure scrypt as far as I understood.

Perhaps a few of us are hoping to help some idiots avoid falling into this sludge-pit you are digging.

I have been watching for a while, thinking I'd do what most others here are hoping to do - clean up on day one and ditch your pschidt within 6 hours.

However, I don't think this will work as a one-shot pump and dump. Not even for you - but good luck trying.

Don't try to guess how our minds work and stop making pseudo-assumptions that you then try using for your own propagandist purposes.

And the very immature way he is attempting to manufacture general interest in the coin is annoying. Tease-Marketing only works well on the weak-minded (and usually weak in the pocketbook, thereby).

If this coin lives an entire day, I will be very surprised.

this guy is getting off to a bad start by the apparent lack of transparency.

this is wrong...

1.First pool 6000 BTLS http://btls.blueberry-pool.com
2.pool 5500 BTLS http://btls.geilidao.com
3.pool 4500 BTLS http://btls.hashhot.com
4.pool 3500 BTLS http://www.bitlitspool.com/
5.pool 3000 BTLS http://bit.lifeforce.info

the pool that's listed 4th doesn't even have a post in this thread - what kind of games are you guys playing - stuff like this does not sit well with miners who are already skeptical of your premine.

a pool who has not even taken the time to post a message here winds up 4th?  Huh

Lifeforce.info should be 4th not 5th. please get this corrected and send me the correct number of coins - thank you

Hi jjj0923.
The pool listed 4th, bitlitspool.com is mine. It really does exist. Why does it matter that I do not have a post in the thread? I am a real person and the pool is real, I have been in contact with ftresfi in the last
few days. If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask them.

I believe it exists but you never posted it in the thread as being ready - so how do I know you are not a personal friend of his and he listed your prior to my pool in order to give you free coins - this guy is getting off to a bad start by the apparent lack of transparency.

Please make first Pool Who first ?

http://bit.lifeforce.info

however - without POD you are going to have a hard time attracting miners and getting listed on any exchange.

I'd like to see you succeed but there are things you need to be doing which you are not doing.

you are competing with newly released coins like Redoakcoin and Gnosis - where the developers are doing everything right and you don;t even have POD - seriously - how can you expect to succeed without POD.

you need to get these things done prior to launch
