Cryptonote is probably the best we've got for now of what exists for anonymity. DRK is not well specified mathematically.

VaporCoin shunts possibly incriminating information from the user/application level outer blockchain to an inner temporary hybrid account tree which uses a middle data layer facilitated by a miniblockchain account tree combined with an innermost Cryptonote transport layer. smooth has a point and I do too. Bottom line is we don't know if CN rings are orthogonal to off chain factors. I doubt it. Maybe smooth is more confident they are.

Are we contented with that statement of a compromise?
