I would like to delete my account. I checked the help section, which instructed me to go to my profile and click on 'Delete Account' under the "actions" section on the left. However, I am unable to locate both the "actions" and the "delete account" link
Are you deleting this account tor you have alt that you want to delete, no one was able to delete an account here, they are either abandoned or banned I suggest you take the first section and just abandon your account, you might go back here someday and you will not need a fee to open an account because you already have an account here.
There are thousands of members with abandoned accounts here, if a member can delete his account here all his threads' posts will go along with it and that will have a bad impact on the forum.

You don't need to delete your account but if you want to abandon your account then you can change the password randomly so that you cannot access the account anymore. That way, it is almost the same as deleting your account without deleting it. Anyway, if you don't mind me asking why do you want to delete your account. Some account that isn't low rank but a high rank want to delete their account and what they do is change the password in anything or very random.

Are you sure.yoi know about what you're talking about, seing a place under your profile where you can delete your account is something strange to all of us, no one can delete his or her account on Bitcointalk, why not delete your browser or release the login info after logging out, once you don't come to the forum here, you will not have anything to do with here again, if you delete your account but couldn't delete the forum from your memory or from you visiting further, then you achieve nothing, I don't want to know your own reasons for requesting for account deletion but it's not possible.

You can not delete your account with your own hand because this feature is not available in forum and if you really want to do that then you can request on Meta section to Theymos then your account will delete otherwise no

Some things you can do that now:

1. Simple change email you can use it for creating account
2. Logout your account and forget about this account

The fact is Bitcointalk doesn't allow that feature though is on the user profile but you can simply just forget the account.

There is no option to delete an account here. The best you can do is probably try to delete all the posts you made, log out and forget about the account. If it's a privacy related issue that could lead to something like doxxing, you could also right to the administrator for change of name.
