I think it can be handy to go trough it and check for plagiarism and deleted posts. Maybe you can put it on a google drive and share it. I have a place to store it too I'm paying more than 50 EUR per year for my hosting which I don't have time to use completely, but one flaw is that is not really anonymous so I can share it only to people who I do really trust.
For plagiarism, it's only useful if you can do automated searches.
For checking deleted posts, it would be very convenient to have a site where you only enter the post number and get it. Considering the large number of posts, I don't think it can just be dumped into one directory, so it'll need some database, which goes beyond my capabilities.

Do you have a public access to your recent database, or it's just for private use?
I don't have an online interface with it, but if anyone wants to have a look, I can upload 0.5 GB of tar.bz2 compressed text files somewhere.

OK @LoyceV so recent is the place to go. Just to confirm even deleted posts can be viewed from here or are you a Mod and you can see them in that way?
Sorry, you got it wrong: I download posts from "recent" when they're first posted, then store them locally.
You can't download them when they're already deleted.

OK, I read them but dont quite understand why they were deleted. Do you have any idea?
Not really, but I didn't check where exactly in the discussion those posts were posted.

Also, where did you find those posts? Is that a mod only option or is it something you could share with me as it might be useful for threads with similar questions.
I think only Admins can see deleted posts. I download all posts from recent, so these came from my personal files.

Could it be thrashed threads I commented on?
No, all three threads are still there and they have not been trashed.

If I'm not mistaken, these are the 3 deleted posts (raw format):

I have previously never had a post or thread deleted before the three today.
BPIP disagrees:

3 replies deleted by moderators
5 topics removed

I had three posts all deleted today, prior to that I have not had a reply deleted.
Are removed topics thread I've started? I never got any notification of a removed thread. Could it be thrashed threads I commented on?

You are correct, I consider them to not have been off topic, but the mods might take a different view, but a couple of seconds after I posted the last it got deleted, that was what spooked me, seemed too automated

Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you getting addicted to cryptocurrency?

I answered no to almost all of the questions, in still very guilty of regularly checking prices of currencies.
I usually am very busy and only use my spare time for cryptocurrency, just as we should only invest spare money.

Active trading as very addictive, unlike long-term investors who have the liberty to take time off the market.
As a trader you might want to look into getting a bot to handle trades when you want to zone out.

Even if it does rid the forum of spammers it'd be a temporary reprieve as they would all return with the market, except of course you'd rather a poor market and less spam.
You can always do your own bit and report spam and irrelevant posts whenever you see them.

Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits of a quality post history

A very nice topic and very well detailed, I am guilty of recognizing specific names who I know to regularly give good content, and do not necessarily go through the post history of unfamiliar ones.

Having a quality track record validates you as a legitimate member of the forum.

What kind of posts were they? They might have not been off topic but still against forum rules.
Some of the reasons could be that you posted the same content on multiple threads/boards. You advertised a service multiple times, spammed with a referral link, or a link leading to illegal sites, phishing, malware etc. Giveaway posts, link shorteners or multiple posts in the same thread one after the other without editing the 1st post.
Those are just some of the reasons your posts might have been deleted.

which makes me think it could be a bug
If it were to be a bug in the system, probably this very post of yours(OP) here in meta probably could or should have been deleted also..
I doubt it's a bug in the system, you could share different views with the Mods who deleted your posts, as you could feel you were on topic but the mod felt otherwise, its no big deal anyways

You previously never had deleted doesn't mean your post will never be deleted.

You may not consider as off-topic, the reporter and the moderator who deleted, considered as off-topic.

The deletion/checking reported posts is a process like waiting in the queue. Therefore, it may happen. Someone reported your posts at a row and moderator found it delete worthy. I barely doubt it as a bug.

Till now I have 3 deleted posts from which 1 is deleted through self moderated thread. 2 were deleted by moderator. Initially, I was also thinking my post was on topic but later I realized it didn't add any value to the discussion. If your post doesn't add value in discussion, it also falls in delete category. Posts which are off-topic, repititive are counted as "Add Zero Value".

Three of my replies to threads today were just deleted, I know deleted threads is not much of a big deal but it's suprising for a couple of reasons,

I have previously never had a post or thread deleted before the three today.

I do not consider the posts I made to be off topic or irrelevant to the discussion.

And the posts were deleted couple of seconds after I made them, which makes me think it could be a bug as I doubt an admin would be so quick to find, read, judge a post and delete it in a couple of seconds.
Could there be a bug in the system, did anyone else experience multiple deletion?
