Aroud my region there is a beauty salon. Crossing that I remember I made an expensive haircut here, because I lost $2000 through gambling while waiting for a haircut. Another one is a hospital where I lost some big amount in the premises. Once lost while waiting for withdrawal from ATM. The biggest and the most remembered is my home where I lost that massive loan amount of about $9500. So, gambling has given me more memories. Cheesy
Mobile gambling might give you some extra benefits like these; but I never associate places with my gambling as I prefer calm environment for my gambling hence I do gamble only on my room and on my desktop. Honestly I never used my mobile for my gambling; I just prefer large screen which might be the another reason why I am hating mobile gambling.

I have 4 GB graphics card and I am using 4k 27 inch monitor which makes me love my gambling environment rather than urging me to gamble anywhere I roam around. I have also lost some big money but all happened at one single place.

I only used my laptop when playing I'm not comfortable playing with a tablet or a cellphone because of the screen resolution, and I want my full concentration when playing I don't think I can play with all my attention if I am on the street or on a bus playing, the distraction will cause me to lose fun and money as well, there's a lot of people who can concentrate like you, but it's just not my stuff.

There are devices such as mobile where they can't take a load of casinos even with good specs.

For that particular reason alone, it's always best to do it on a PC or laptop due to the difference of capability. I also don't feel doing gambling on phones as it makes the system increase its temperature harming the battery especially if it's built-in. Wifi and data already consuming too much so I don't want to give any burden on my phone.

I assume around 60% of my gambling activities were on mobile devices. Actually, I prefer to use mobile devices rather than my laptop/pc since it's easier for me to place my bets whenever I want especially when I'm outside, the bad side is there are several casinos that are not comfortable to play with mobile due resolution issue or any other things, so like or not I should use my laptop to play on those casinos.

Talking about the 'device' used when gambling, I have two options for doing it.

1. When I'm out if I want to place a bet I prefer to use a mobile phone, it's easier.
2. If I am at home and placing sports bets I prefer to use my Laptop.

I often use two options, however, in different places I do it, what is clear is that the two electronics have their respective places in using them.
Well, I agree with you and we are the same but I rarely use my phone because it has a small screen that I can not read it properly. That is why I provided a tablet which is very convenient and handy while you are not at home. When I was at home, I prefer to use my desktop if I am not in gambling, or right after in the gambling activities I switch to online games. However, it is always advisable for me if we only gamble at home not anywhere else, it can be distracted and made us lose if we can't focus the game.

I prefer laptop, computer for gambling activity instead of mobile devices. I think it's much more confortable and safer to play in front of a bigger screen, controlling it with a mouse instead of my fingers.
But nowadays I believe mobiles are more common in gambling industry, because almost everyone has a smartphone even in poor countries. Laptops and computers not everyone have access, as they are more expensive and as a smartphone can replace many of their functions, people don't even bother about owning the first mentioned devices.

Although most gambling sites today are mobile-friendly, there are some gambling games that will truly enhance our viewing experience by using a much better resolution on our platform or device. I really prefer a much wider screen when playing casinos so desktops were primarily used.

And besides, if I think my gambling session will take that long, providing I have a good bankroll on that session, I don't want to waste my phone's energy by doing that, not that I care for my phone's battery but because I don't want my session to be interrupted.

I think that most people still play on laptop/PC.

Mobile device support is something that the online gambling industry has been struggling to adopt. I think part of the reason why is that in-browser support for certain plugins is just atrocious and often ends up being unplayable.

What we need is some sort of site to come out with a proprietary app - that should get the competition going in the right direction.

2k? That's quite a loss.
For me, it's my smart phone always. For a number of times, I can count the number of times I used my laptop to gamble. Very few times.

When I use laptop to gamble, I easily get carried away and that's because I can easily switch to working mode. With my phone, it is portable and limit my time kn gambling site.
I cant really afford to play gambling while im in work because it is way too distractive for me and might result on less efficiency when it comes to your job.
If you can handle it well then i dont see any problems with that since we do have different preference.

Basically, I use mobile phone maximum time of the day and using it for gambling too. But I will suggest everyone to use laptop. Mobile phone can be hacked in many ways and installing unknown app knowingly or unknowingly is one of them. Btw, laptop will be good for gambling.

Actually, I don't like using mobile devices to browse gambling sites and so forth. I prefer to use my computer because of the screen resolution and clicks. And I like to use the mobile phone only to chat.  ???I also believe that relying on a mobile device to access gambling sites greatly contributes to the growth of a player's addiction symptoms. If you rely too much on a smartphone to play slot games it will make you lose more so be careful!!!

Mobile devices are bad for gambling not only of their pure screen resolution but also because they tear off the anonymity of gambler. Their boards contain gyro&accelerometer sensor which leeks data to surveillance agencies. The latter use them to build digital fingeprints  of your walking manner and are able to identify you whenever they want. I don't want they know I'm gambling. So I prefer to use my laptopn for gambling.

Wouldn't it be possible to somehow deactivate the functions such that the tracking is not possible in the way you described it?

I guess people mostly use Desktop or laptops to gamble and only few gambles through their smartphones. If smartphones were dominating device, then I am sure every casino would be focusing on mobile experience rather than desktop/laptop experience. But we see quite the opposite. And I guess only few people who gambles for fun are the ones that uses smartphones. And you need to control yourself. Looks like you are addicted to gambling or something. Who gambles while waiting in line for withdrawing money. You probably should stop gambling from your phone for your own good!
We are only more flexible in terms of interfaces when playing on computers for me this is the best compared to smart phones, but if we use smart phones it will be simpler wherever we want to play gambling, so the tastes are always different and they want in safeguarding which one to use.

I don't want to be more focused on gambling and don't even want to be addicted to it, but to have fun I will definitely do it with the capital that has been determined, people everywhere can now play gambling.

Which device is much used for the purpose of gambling these days. Before covid-19 people kept moving without restrictions and the lockdown around the world have made lot of changes in everyone's life. As a result the usage of Mobile devices for the purpose of gambling have decreased and the usage of desktop and laptops have increased. I'm stating this based on friends around me and not on any data gathering. Sorry if things were wrong.

Through this thread lets share the device thats been used by you for the purpose of gambling. My 90% of gambling activities were on Mobile devices. This has given me lots and lots of memories. Whenever I pass some region I remember the loss and the place associated with it.

Those are without a doubt some big losses but if you can afford them then that is not a problem for you or your family, I can say that almost 100% of my gambling is done through my desktop computer, I do not really like to gamble in mobile devices because the screen is simply too small and I am afraid I'm going to make a mistake and then lose, and as we know losing when you gamble is already hard enough but losing because you misread or failed to click what you wanted is going to be infuriating.

Personally, depending on my situation and where I am, if I have free time at home I use a PC with a 21 inc monitor screen, who is very satisfied to see how it looks and play gambling in the room while listening to music casually accompanied by a cup of coffee.
Very comfortable while relaxing inside your house, the convenient is really great aside from being careless there's no need to stress
yourself while playing. Most of the time gamblers who loves playing online really enjoy this kind of set up.

and if outside I use my smartphone while waiting for something which is time consuming or while traveling and it is supported by a supporting network, and if it doesn't support I will not use it.
Using smart phone as alternative, yeah it will work for those who really have good engagement with types of gambling that
they are playing, they can use smart phones as more online casinos are ready supporting this settings.

I am simply still gambling only on dice and sportsbetting hence based on availability of devices I am just gambling. Yeah, I do gamble on my desktop (both office and personal), laptop and mobile/tab. My preference is not deciding my device but where I am gambling decides on which device I will gamble. I am making use of office shuttle hence while travelling I do gamble on my mobile.

I have downloaded some crypto gambling house's desktop version hence I prefer my personal desktop to gamble more but not limited to my office system as I am enjoying same level of excitement even with web version.

I've used a desktop for so many years now that the idea of playing games on a mobile phone feels odd to me - it's a bit too fiddly and makes it way easier to misclick. I tried it on some free poker apps and found it was a lot more difficult to control the bet slider with my finger on the small surface area of the phone. There are even functional differences as well, having played on a popular piece of betting software on the PC I thought of giving the app version a try but it was missing important bits of functionality - even small things like being able to see table statistics or chat history by glancing in the corner is so much easier than having stuff hidden away. There is also an element of concentration which feels important when betting on games like poker - I want to be in the zone and fully focused, rather than trying to force through a few wins on a bus or train journey where you might have an unreliable connection.

I suppose for certain types of betting that is not time sensitive it works fine - if you're placing sports bets then you can take care and not make mistakes.

Case to case basis indeed.

There's a time I don't want to use either my PC, laptop, or mobile.

And depending on what gambling type involved like I don't want to play casino games on mobile as I prefer to do it on a much larger screen or in the event sports betting, using mobile will do as what I just need to do is to place bets.
I do agree with you mate and also the mere fact of which device you're getting comfortable to play a game with and also the conveniency or availability of the gadgets depend on what you're doing or like for example while you're on a place far at home, mobile gadgets are good for gambling too as long as you have a strong connection of internet. And also, there are some gambling that needed to open in a large screen so if I were be ask i'll definitely to go to have a pc, a laptop and mobile.
