I'll be contacting FinCEN today to hear their thoughts. I'll keep you guys updated.
After contacting FinCEN I've decided to relaunch Devscrow. I was concerned due to previous statements from the agency but today I was pointed to this amendment. Which essentially says Bitcoin escrow services are permitted to operate without being regulated under money-transmission laws.
Anyhow, Devscrow is back open for business. I will only be providing escrow services for standard trades in the future and best of all, it's free. (Tips are greatly appreciated however)
I'm happy that I have the opportunity to continue providing this service for the community.

A grey area within whether you need some sort of licence to be an escrow agent? You probably do in some countries or states.

For the sake of others (and my own), I have decided to shut down my escrow service. There is too much of a grey area and I don't feel comfortable operating in it. I appreciate the support throughout the months and I'm looking forward to working with you around the forums in the future.

Temporarily shut down my business due to health reasons. Withdrew funds with no issues. I will definitely use devscrow when we reopen. Thanks for a great service.
