A small mistake on dice made my wallet get emptied. Only mistake is that I didn't added an additional zero to the bet amount. Instead of 0.00005 btc I mistakenly placed 0.0005 btc. Further on the consecutive bets went for a double the value. This all of the sudden emptied my wallet. I didn't watched the wallet until the bet amount in the tab turned zero. Further watched the bet history and understood what big mistake I've done.

This is the common scenario for most of the gamblers out here, the same thing also happened to mine, it was fun winning and watching our bets getting doubled every roll we make, at that point I was start losing, but I ignored it, thought I was going to win again the next roll, but I didn't, I lost it all, the capital I've had, and the profits I've made in the few rolls.

I've realized that after a win, don't let it go into your head, stay humble and focus, cash it out which is the best thing we could ever do before greed take over us.

I think most of the dice players experienced this once in their gambling activities. So I thought if it's possible for dice sites to implement a confirmation message when a bet is above the specified amount like 0.0005 or 0.001 btc. This way errors like this will be prevented, it would be more disappointing if someone bets 0.01 btc or above mistakenly.
thats exactly what im thinking in the past as i am also a victim of my own diligence of betting when drunk or sometimes sleepy and have not double check the bet before rolling

but i doubt this will bother the site owner and developer because this favors them as the losers growing because of this simple mistakes

but hoping that some sites will start implementing such safeties so the players might have warning or permission before starting to roll

Just like many posts above me says this mistakes not only belongs to yourself and i did this mistakes too several months ago that instead of 0.00001 btc so i didn't added a zero number and the bets became an 0.0001 btc but quickly i realize it only from several bets but unfortunately my balance of money was dry rapidly so indeed this is very annoying

We made errors sometimes, but with that situation of our buddy was very sad, it costs a lot. If someone would bet on that 0.01 btc without noticing it was big enough compared with other bets, probability of losing your money is 100% likely happening. Before that situation happens, you shouldn't deposit huge funds so that you won't tend to do that errors while playing dice game.

Aww that's sad. This kind of unwanted situation is a lesson, not only for op but also for everyone. That before making your bet, double check everything and make sure it's correct based on your preferences.
Only one mistake can affect you a lot. Though it's a bad experience, use it op to serve as a lesson. Btw, thanks for sharing it to avoid this kind of mistake also to happen to me.

Good thing that only 0.005 btc high rollers lose more than you do if they mistakenly betted and lost their bank roll which is very painful to watch if you saw bet history next time be careful typing zeroes since it was very confusing sometimes i accidentally betted 0.02 btc instead of 0.02 in plinko good thing that it landed on 2 but my heart stopped when i saw that bet haha
You must be kidding with saying 0.005 btc lose still a good thing. 0.005 btc is worth around $45 dollars now, it's big money especially in 3rd country which having hard time about their economy (some of them even got paid less than $1 in an hour). No matter how much money involved in gambling, lose is lose. There is no good thing lossing your money.
Yeah that’s not a small money specially if you lose because of negligence, and aside from that losing never been a luck so please guys refrain from saying he’s lucky in any form because he is not

Let’s give sympathy because that’s what Op needs and also to share about what we must always remember and that’s to check our bets before rolling

Luckily you weren't playing with higher stakes.
Are you serious about this?or you are the one whos enjoying the drink?OP’s WALLET IS EMPTY means he’s at total losses and you are saying that he’s lucky not betting high?whats the difference of betting high or low when the outcome:of the mistakes emptied He’s wallet?
You can report him to yahoo since looks like he is only spamming for his signature sake.

I want to give him the benefits to refrain from doing such and besides I knew there are many reporters here that will do the job for someone like that

Though that one will be helpful but it's the player's responsibilities to double check the amount of their bets. There's a lot of players, aside from VIPs, who can bet bigger than the amount that OP's lost. Most of us who plays this kind of gambling surely experienced mistakes like this, some might accidentally win using the same mistakes but most are regretting since is not irreversible.

Oh no. Sorry for that loss, that is really hard not only because you lost but because it is a mistake you've done. You know, that thing that you just think you had a time machine so you could just do thing right you did wrong. Never experienced this mistake but I think the worst I made is wasting my money in the past in this thing.

Undecided and again another losses because we're not double checking our bets especially in an online casino. If I were you OP I wouldn't be too confident of playing because it is my own money. Welp, I can't blame you either, you might be doing something while playing and that might be the reason you got distracted and lost all the way out.

This is so unfortunate. Luckily it's not that huge and you'll still be able to recover it as time goes by. Next time just be careful of your bets and don't always multiply it since that strategy triggers greediness which is somehow difficult to deal with specially if you are just a newbie gambler on that particular game.

Sorry for you lost, luckily was not a huge amount, sadly it was all your bankroll.

Anyway, the double the bet on lost is a very dangerous strategy and in my experience it will never NEVER concludes with a winning, in a long term ofcourse you will lose and the casinò will win.

Even assuming a 50-50 (with no rake/fee) scenario if you do not start with a very small part of your bankroll you will end, losing all your money.

I have the same experience when I am still new in the crypto gambling industry and I even did a much worse mistake when playing dice where I am betting all in on 98% win chance and one thing entered my mind, to see ir how much will be the winnings if I try to hit 9900x so I changed the multiplier and forgot to change it back then I hit the bet button, guess what happened next. LOL
Surely emptied wallet as well?LOL
That’s why always double checked before hitting the magic bottom to prevent from being loser by our own misstates
We should always check everything when money is involve,
This is not just on gambling but also in trading I don't know if there is something that would stop your trade if you put up a less zero on your order,
Just imagine trying to buy a huge amount of alts and you forgot to type another zero then that would cost you so much.
Sometimes because of eagerness to roll faster and to win we carried away of the situation so mistakes taking part, but in time we will be more careful as we have already experience big losses by this tragedy

The multiple zeros can be quite confusing and Intimidating. I guess people will eventually get used to it.
Gambling websites could place the bitcoin value side by side with USD value for the sake of gamblers who have never used Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency before. This should help them view the value of Bitcoin in USD as they type out the amount of Bitcoin they want to gamble with

You've got to be really careful when gambling, especially when playing online. Just a misplaced click or phat fingers syndrome can make a lot of damage to your account. An advice would be to always play when you're sober so your focus doesn't get obfuscated. If you wanna have a drink I'd suggest going to a local physical casino, there you can also have hopefully free drinks and enjoy the social environment.
Yeah right that’s really concerning the OP 😂😂

Although I agree that adding 0.0005 instead of 0.00005 was his mistake, being a Bitcoiner one has to be fluent with decimals but there is another aspect to his loss i.e. the tricky interface of gambling sites.
I am also having this in my mind for very long time, gambling sites with bitcoin figures to choose bet amount is quite tricky they should either move to bits or sats or atleast have the options to change the decimal values in the way we wanted which can make clear amount of bet amount to the player.
