Coz why not both? When talking about fun, winning/getting profit while playing is more fun obviously.
I know right, why can't it be both why does it have to be either fun or profit. sometimes I wonder why some people think that it should always be strictly for fun or profit. that being said, even though we can do both at the same time, moderation should always be implemented since these things can lead to addiction.

As long as they do not play against the house, but another player, there is a possibility of profit. The problem I see is that the results are too much based on luck and not on skills, as in poker. Unless the player knows how to roll the dice so that they tend to fall in a certain way, which at least borders on cheating.
Playing against another player and not against the house is an added advantage to the players as the house edge will not be there to manipulate the result of the games in favor of the House, if you are lucky to roll the right dice number then you go home with all the winning amount.This is a dice game even if you are good at rolling and the house edge has nothing to do with it, it's not a guarantee that you can win daily, you can win some time or most of the time but not all the time, have not met somebody who made dice game their cash cow or income-generating, it's not a job, it's something you do that you hope to make money while having fun.

It's a bit stupid to think that a gambler plays only for fun and not for profits, that's like a gambler plays to lose, intentionally throwing the money! We play to win, we hope to win, we find fun and we have entertainment while playing, but deep inside we would like to have a profitable session, some big win... as you say every gambler dreams about making money and winning big in gambling!
I think we gamblers like to play with fire, and we want to win in that game! Maybe those who spend a lot of time at the Casino to play Dice not because want to earn money but also to spend time because that's the only way he thinks can provide fun, and socialize with people.I play dice only when I have free time or when I want to take a break from the boring routine but that's never spend more money than I can afford because the goal is just to really have fun even when seeing the results are not good it will be a little annoying but it's only for a moment, and just play against houses.

That's how fast people can be addicted to it because they wanted to rush to double their profit. It gives more excitement for them as soon as the banker throws the dice and shouting with the number they've chosen. they haven't stopped doing it, for months or a year I think. The point is, it just started for something to kill their time and addiction happens when they started to bet for it.
Well I think people who used to play gambling in their daily activity are not gambled for fun but also aiming to get win too. I mean a win in a way that they could double their money that they used to gamble but like what it happen not all the time is a winning time. The problem of gambling addiction arises when a person is eager to get what he had lost and the feeling of greedy when he win. What makes you so sure that these guys are there making money, will the casinos let them make the casinos their cash cow, for all we know, these guys are there because they want to regain or recover their losses or they are rich and can sustain being there most of the times, there is no guarantee in your assumption, there is a lot of loan shark in the casinos and you will have all the cash you want as long as you have collaterals.

It's a fact that you can't make money out of dice games whether you play them online or on a physical casino, although there are exceptions, there are people that you always see play but that doesn't mean that they are always winning they just have the means to do it, these players are in a category of gambling addict because gambling occupied most of their time and mind if you found someone that you always see in the casinos why not hang around and ask him if he is there because he is making a living out of playing dice and you'll found out that it's not the case.
I don't play dice, i don't find it fun. So if there was an option to play dice for fun or profit just as OP, i'd play for profit. Although i may not be quick to want to play because just as we all know, it is not a game of strategy and winning is not sure, it is a game of chance/luck, and that day may not be my lucky day. It may just turn out to be a No- fun and loss dice game, lol.
As the easiest gambling game, Dice already gets attention from many people visiting the casino and gaining more new people to come back to play dice games. I like to play dice games, but I do it for fun and do not have a big intention to win much money. But if I can win streak and get money, that will make me happy because I rarely have that experience. Dice as an enjoyable gambling game can make us forget about the time and money but I can still control myself and not spend more money when I think I already lose some money.

Those people who are in the casinos all the time and are playing dice are probably very lonely people. I don't think I can even stand a day only playing dice. That would be too boring for me.
I have played dice and I have known all along that my money wouldn't last. So I guess I am playing for the sake of playing, just to kill the time. But I love experimenting strategies, although I am fully aware, of course, that the house will always prevail in the end. So I guess I was never chasing for profits in dice games.

Dice is a very easy game, only that much by setting the betting numbers, we can have fun in the game, but if there is massive money, why not?

In fact a few hours ago I spent as little as $25 trying out a new site. Explore dice, poker, slots and blackjack games. All have varying levels of enjoyment. Just to test the effectiveness of the casino and how fun it is in each gambling room, then I always divide each room with the same nominal bet.

We gamble for money, that’s the reality and having fun is just to sugar coat the main purpose of every gambler. Well, I’m guilty on this though most of the time I just gamble without expecting anything in return, because you know gambling it doesn’t guarantee profit so better to know what’s your goal in gambling and what’s your biggest reason to gamble and take such risk.
I do not see the "fun" thing in dice game and I consider it as the most boring game, this is the reason why I do not play it much. I play dice game when there is a contest only such as hunt number. In this case, I can see the fun thing while competing with others to get the number. I believe most real dice gamblers play it for profit. Proven by the existing dice strategies, or discussion about dice strategy in order to get bigger chance of winning.
i guess gamblers have their own definition of "fun" thing here. because i can agree with you that dice is somewhat a boring game, there's not much excitement unless you will apply some of the known strategies and try to work it out. i also don't consider this as a game that you can really get profit of. if you don't know how to handle yourself, you will end up depleting your bankroll. so in case you will apply like martingale, you should consider stopping once you got some winnings. otherwise, it will only go back to the casino.
