dice is an easy game to play. You don't even have to do anything but click the button. but when you start losing its not going to be fun. as for me, i will look for another game to try my luck like the lottery. once you try to learn a new strategy to game the game, it starts to get serious if you wanted to earn a living through it. it's still fun when you are winning but we'll see a gambler creating a new thread about how he is tricked by the house when he experiences a losing streak.
I do not see the "fun" thing in dice game and I consider it as the most boring game, this is the reason why I do not play it much. I play dice game when there is a contest only such as hunt number. In this case, I can see the fun thing while competing with others to get the number. I believe most real dice gamblers play it for profit. Proven by the existing dice strategies, or discussion about dice strategy in order to get bigger chance of winning.
Boring for you but its an interesting game for others because if it was really that boring then we wont really see lots of dice game websites as of this moment but we are seeing totally different which does signifies that there's really a demand for this game which means they are really interested.On my own personal view then this game is interesting at first and becomes boring.The thing i do see on why people get interested

Different people with divergent motives for gambling and Dice is the most go to gambling game for fun seekers and passive gamblers, and this has raised some cases in the casino House where you play against a player with different motives to yours. I only visit casino houses just to cash fun and spend my free time, but you will find other players who are always at the casino at all times and always ready to play a game against anyone ready this makes me believe this guy is not an addict but have gambled as they mean of making money and dice being an easy game which relies on luck as the top choice.
Why not both? For sure you are gambling to aim fun and profit since you will not enjoy if one of them doesn't exist. You will only get stress and anger for continue losing if you just said that you only gamble for fun and I don't really believe that people gamble for fun since for sure you will not throw your money for any gambling site just to ease your stress since you will get double that feeling once you lose everything you have.

You already knew the answer.There are those gamblers that are only playing it for fun and you've seen those that are playing for the profits. You cannot measure the percentage on how many does it for fun and for the profits.
So that's the answer, many do it for any of those and for both.

Let us admit that even if it is only dice game, deep inside we want to have some profits.
But in my experience, I usually stop when I am out of funds or already spent my quota for the day.
That means, I usually am not on the winning side. Because if we talk about dice, you can hardly get your profits here, unless, you know when to stop after you got some winnings.

Where I grew up people didn’t play dice much. I’m not sure why as all the movies would have you believe that people are gambling and playing craps on street corners. In my experience though, the game people are playing for fun and profits is dominoes. Something about dominoes, 40ozers, and wheelchairs that really takes me back to good times…
When it comes to informal betting not conducted at a casino most of the time people spend their time with social games, where I live the most common gambling game people enjoy is bingo, people love to play it and they do so for hours and while the game is relatively boring what people enjoy the most is the social aspect, they can talk with each other and see if someone else is about to win which only makes them wish for their numbers even more strongly, so just as you mention while movie scenes in which people play craps on the street are very common I have yet to see something like that. But believe me, when I am in a dice game before I have so much fun on it, I tried all features like auto bet dice and also in manual and everything is fine and good. Every time I played, the excitement that I was felt during per session while on my mind trying to chase the losses that I had but you know that you are just trying to control yourself and if you are a failure to this, expect that you were addicted soon. So, it makes fun always.
I used to play dice for fun and spend not much than two hours of my time every day just to cash in on some fun, but then the tendency to make some money out of that fun moment is taking over my thoughts lately but I don't spend much on playing just to make money.
I spend an hour or two max watching numbers on screen randomize itself for me hoping that I get a win, and that to me is fun since you don't know whether the next roll is a green or a fed. People would always look for profits and thats why they do play gambling games not only limited to dice but also in other games as well but at the same time we do really get those fun or leisure that we do seek of too.It is just really that we cant really resist on not to see the possibilities on making profits that would really be the main trigger of our greed which it cant really be resisted and ends up on getting wrekt
