Still very early days to invest in Bitcoin, maybe not as earlier as a few years ago but still now is probably a good time. Where will the price be in 5-10 years? $100 or $250,000+ per Bitcoin is my guess.

Perhaps, from the point of view of the current situation, this seems to be a mistake for you. However, a certain time will pass and you will definitely change your mind about the advisability of investing your funds in bitcoin. It was estimated that since the appearance of bitcoin in January 2009, bitcoin has been profitable for investing in 98.2 percent of cases. So your investment should be profitable over time. You only need to be able to wait for your time.

Like anybody says it is never a mistake, whether you buy it at a low or high price then it goes down a little. Keep in mind bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, Yes it is volatile that's why many people are in loss. because they are selling at loss. Buy high sell low because they panic, never do this but always try in your own risk buddy.

Every investment there is a risk. There are times when the value of our investment decreases and increases. Indeed investing in bitcoin is very risky because the price is very volatile. But bitcoin investment is not a mistake.

Just hold until the price goes up because to ride bitcoin it never takes a long time. In an instant bitcoin can skyrocket. If you are patient then you can definitely get a big profit.

Every investment is a risk. I think bitcoin is definitely not a mistake. There are many economic rebellions in countries. I think bitcoin will work great because it depends on mathematics, science and transparency. Don't worry, you're okay
Your point of encouragement is enough for OP to understand that he is not on the wrong way and he only needs to keep the faith to become successful in future
If we’re investing in Bitcoin surely we are in good hands it’s just happen that volatility mostly taking place that’s why we end up losing beliefs but in the end of the day after months of dumping we can find profit just hold on

That should entirely depend on when you invested in bitcoin, because not everyone who invested will make such statement, some are very glad they did,
Those who invested when btc was let's say $400 - $1000, do you think they will be making such statements? No I don't think so, rather they are among the pioneers of btc,
Only those who invested during all time high will make such statements, but they willing to give some time, the reward will worth the wait.

Take the 16 years old boy who invested in btc with money given to him by his grandmother as an example,  his is glad he did, no regrets whatsoever.

You know this question is unavoidable...

I understand what you mean because as far as I know whenever Bitcoin is making a dramatic dip people are going to be asking the same unavoidable question if they are making a big mistake putting their trust with it or is there really a good future ahead for this cryptocurrency. Given the volatile nature of Bitcoin, this question should have been settled a long time ago. The thing is that in its entire 10-year history, Bitcoin has had been proclaimed dead many times over but amazingly it also has this resilient quality so that it keeps on coming back -- akin to the resurrected legendary Phoenix I would compare.

People who are doubting on Bitcoin's capacity to get back on track once again can, of course, jump the ship and just forget about it, but there is always the better way: wait for some time or just hold for some weeks and witness how Bitcoin can be out of the bearish period and it will start roaring its power for all of us to see. Now, I am not actually sharing this like financial advice to anyone but just sharing what I already experienced with Bitcoin and what I predict will be happening soon. I think the mistake is not getting involved with Bitcoin and not getting into it while there is a big dip.

You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
Investing in bitcoin is something that cannot be called as a mistake. Investor should know what he was investing.
Bitcoin is good for long term investment, the moment you have regrets for investing, that is the start of losing your investment.

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

This question will always pop up to newbie investors whether it is bitcoin or stocks. My answer will always be the same.

IF you did your due diligence like knowing the facts, basics and the reasons why it is a good investment, then it is not a MISTAKE. It is just a SETBACK.

But if you invested because you are just riding the hype or any other reason without doing the necessary research first, then it is a MISTAKE. It is a mistake even if you profited in it because you will make the same move again and you might not be as lucky the next time.

You're right! If people didn't really knew what is Bitcoin all about and its ever growing network value including its community, then it would probably led them to have doubts which I think is just normal in the sense that we're not quite accustomed to this levels of volatility not unlike traditional markets!

I suggest we should take into consideration Bitcoin's strong fundamentals first such as rising number of adopters, increasing volume of transactions, and the increasing growth in network value - this I think are very positive traits possessed by Bitcoin that has produced many optimists. That is why I guess Bitcoin will be very viable for long term hodling in the hope that it can give very good returns to its hodlers in the end. I should say patience is the key! Smiley

Bitcoin is a currency so don’t expect this to bring you fortune instead treat this as one important thing that can help you and everyone in future

This is the problem with many so called “Investors” on who’s entered the market here just to earn but knows nothing deep about ho crypto works and don’t even know Blockchain

You will never commit mistakes in bitcoin if you know how to keep your patience and never afraid when you see market is falling down because the truth is recovery always follow the fall

depending on how the person views BTC,
if we view BTC as an asset, then it can be an investment choice,
if we view BTC as a means of payment, it is not possible to invest in BTC, because people invest know the benefits and advantages, and it all depends on how we judge BTC,
small example, if we consider BTC as a speculation tool and many people have lost money in BTC, then of course that person does not invest in BTC, because they do not believe and only the risk is obtained.
so, mistake or not depends on how you see and rate BTC. That is your decision, because it is your money.

First of all, your coming at this with completely the wrong mindset - you, like many other people who have been brainwashed, and are under the impression that BTC is a quick get rich scheme, which is not the case.

BTC obviously is very volatile, and could easily go up or down 20 percent in the span of 24 hours - but don't let this scare you, we've seen great media coverage and adoption over the years, and it'll slowly continue growing, just don't let the bumps scare you off.

Depending on the person of what happened to him/her and how he/she used the Bitcoin to ask that question. Investing in Bitcoin is not a mistake, it's your fault for selling the price at a lost. Investing in Bitcoin is not a mistake, it is your fault for investing in a shitcoin that has no value. Mistakes can be made if you did not do a proper research about something. Just like in Bitcoin, people tend to invest in it even without knowing what is it, what happened in the past, and how it is used then cry how about the price when a correction happens.

No, you didn't. You just made a mistake in understanding how investing in bitcoin works. Bitcoin ain't like gambling that after one game you would instantly get rich or something. Bitcoin is a long term investment that involves a lot of market research to determine whether or not you should hold or not. If the market is going down, buy coins and wait for the market to go up. If it has exceeded your probable budget, wait and see if it could go higher then start selling. You just need patience and research in investing.

No it's not a mistake. New investors are just starting and it's not like they're supposed to gain that easily after investing. Since the price is decreasing, it's the best time to buy bitcoin and wait for an increase. It was never a mistake if you know how to handle and manage your bitcoin for you to gain.

I think you did the right thing. From now on, you shouldn't rush and sell your Bitcoin. Bitcoin price has down to 8k dollars from 13k. According to my guess, we are in the accumulation phase. When this phase ends, Bitcoin will most probably start to climb up.

The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
It happened 4 times already (4 bubbles). In each bubble there were people like you, that bought on high or highest point and waited years to get their money back or wait a little longer and get 10 times their money.
Most of people like you sell at some point before next bubble, taking a loss. Some wait to get even, but majority are not suitable for investing and commitment, which is often hard, sometimes very hard and sometimes impossible.

I hope for the best for you, you did take risk, you bought high but only when you sell you will decide your fate Smiley so not everything is lost  yet.

If the investment is made after understanding better about its growth pattern, then it isn't a mistake. Then one should have the patience as well as should be very careful while investing as you're new to the community. More scammers will attract with schemes that give very big multiples upon investing. Don't get greedy and fall as a prey. Think and do the right thing at the right time.
