Just because you invest in something and lost a little bit of value does not mean you should not have invested. When the price goes down people moan and complain and even call scam but it could have gone the other way. You can't just be there when things are going well. No investment in the world is going to just continue to go well all the time. Some investments will grow year after year but will still have the down periods. You need to be patient and ask yourself whether bitcoin is really for you. You need to believe in it as a currency and actually make use of it too.

Bitcoin investment is not all about holding, there is no guarantee that you can gain profit by just holding it alone. You need to use bitcoin as a currency like doing buy and sell. I don't see any mistake investing in bitcoins as long as you are aware of risks involve on it. You just need yourself to be keep updated on the markets.

If you had invested in Bitcoin and monitor its daily price regularly, then you may entertain that thought in your mind. But if you set your investments in the long term, then this may not concern you either. I though hope you would think twice if Bitcoin's price suddenly rise after a couple of months. Hopefully! You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?

Give it time - years. This isn't some get-rich-quick thing.  See where things are a year from now when we are nearly 5 months past the halving.

Anyone who expects a straight upward trajectory is delusional.

Every investment is a risk. I think bitcoin is definitely not a mistake. There are many economic rebellions in countries. I think bitcoin will work great because it depends on mathematics, science and transparency. Don't worry, you're okay

It's a investment, so there's a risk involved here, so I do hope that you have calculated it before entering the market. Setbacks is just normal, as bitcoin works in a cycle, it's a boom or bust market. Sometimes you really need to experienced a lot of difficulty and it will really challenge you. But in the long run, it's worth it, and I'm sure majority of us who have been in the market for so long will attest to that. Think of it in the long term, 2017 started with the price < $1000 but ended up $20,000. The problem with newbie is that they think that crypto investment will make them rich instantly, that is wrong mindset to begin with. You need to have a lot of patience here because this is not a traditional asset like stocks.
You know, that's the problem we have in this market,  a lot of people dive into crypto investment without including in their plan, the risk involved.
Before entering the market, prepare yourself and have the mindset that Rome wasn't built in a day,  it takes patience and hardwork too

As a new investor you should always consider that investing to any of your choice has a risk and setback of prices is one of it. Investing in bitcoin is never been a mistake, what you lack right now is the resolve whether to hold your investment or sell it.

Just focus on positive aspects of bitcoin and don't listen to any negative feedback, fud and setback of price so you can focus to your target which is to gain profit someday from your investment.

Having some earnings and profit that you gain out of bitcoin but you have a responsibility of managing and you should know how to hold and hide your investment.Having a knowledge in bitcoin is a good investment now. This thing helps many people, benefits many people and we used our earning to help ourselves in our daily expenses.

I would say you make a mistake only if you don't know how to hold. Any new investor can take his losses and walk away but the right way to make profit is by holding,

Those ones who thinks they will become rich in 1 week with bitcoin are wrong. So, if you feel like you make a mistake then bitcoin isn't for you.

Introducing Bitcoin investment to people shouldn't just be about the great testimonies,  but a little touch of the possible outcomes and requirements, such as patience etc, should be included too.

Bitcoin investment doesn't just make you rich just with the snap of a finger,  it might take time, but once it does it you will be happy you invested.

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

What will be your response to this question?

Without an actual mistake, others will somehow not realized the "best situation" when to put their money on BTC and will just purely rely on luck and follow other's lead. Mistakes and errors are one of the best foundations for building a good experience.

Being used to experience the actual bull or bearish status in the market will help them to determine if it's the right time to follow a certain trend or take the risks of waiting for such another possible situation.

And people should realize that "investment" in crypto is way different compared to the usual investment where dividends and returns can be expected at 100%. A different approach is a must.

I don't think that you have made a mistake investing in Bitcoin. On the contrary, I believe this is the right time to invest in it. In my opinion, Bitcoin has started to prepare for a bull run. I should also add something. Don't ever expect to make profit e.g. in one week. You need to be patient.

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s still a very young, raw asset. Most of us OG’s have made huge profits but it wasn’t quick. With extreme patience & the power of HODLING comes big rewards.

If you bought today for example & HODL for 18 months it could be the best thing you ever do.

Just don’t expect to buy today & get rich overnight, it doesn’t happen. People with zero patience who’ve read about getting rich quick with bitcoin shouldn’t bother if they haven’t got the balls to HODL through tough times. Nothing good in life ever comes easily.
I totally agree with you.
I believe patience is a virtue too, every new investor shouldn't just expect to blow once the come into the market, it is a gradual process, as Rome was not built in a day.

I don't think that it is a mistake. Bitcoin is a very well considered system, the ideas behind it are amazing and I think we still didn't get the whole of it yet. Check the recent big company coins such as Libra. These are all thanks to blockchain and bitcoin. The king is here and will always be.

Investing in Bitcoin is one of the most intelligent things that you've ever done with your money. I can't think of a better investment!! Well, what else did you consider investing in? The stock market is peaking and is going to crash soon under the terrible leadership of Donald Trump. once he ruins that country, people will flock to bitcoin because they'll know that it is the truth and the future.
