I think online gambling has increased with appearance of cryptocurrencies, but not significantly. This means that crytpo gambling amounts to less than 5% of of the overall online gambling.

Well, ever since the crypto currencies was made there are a lot of funtions that it can be used to and that really favors a lot of online gamblers because of its anonimity. I don't use online gambling to increase my crypto amount, but I know some of my friends do this. They play dice games, and I think they are a very good gambler because when I see they played, they can control the emotion and they know how to place the bets. Yes, and it continue to increase despite of the market condition. Many new gambling site but of course it is not trusted yet, it still better to gamble with the trusted gambling sites for years now. I think so. I mean there are some overlaps for sure, some people who gambled with regular fiat currency also started to move to crypto currency to gamble, that is for sure however I think people like me who never gambled with fiat currency in their life also started to gamble thanks to bitcoin (because of bitcoin?

Yes I think it greatly increased the gambling activities among the normal people because the crypto gambling is much convenient and we no need to give any details to play there.
Some gambling sites do require you to do a KYC before withdrawal of a huge amount. Yeah it is only crypto that increased the ratio of online gambling.
Online gambling includes both fiat and crypto gambling. If you look into the industry then it is evident that crypto is still having a cult following and thus less popular among people. Fiat gambling is still the bigger one.Quote

Someone who is holding coins has some idea behind holding it. They are probably looking the price to moon in order to sell in future. If they have made up their mind then would not waste the coins on gambling. After all I dont expect an experienced trader to fall prey of the gambling vicious cycle. But then again there are exceptions.
