Dump it!!!
Putting all your funds into bitcoins could be the wisest decision, but only if your intention is to trade it or to hold it for a very long time and get handsome returns over it (still not promising because of the volatility and dumps taking place all of a sudden). Trading would be your best alternative here to grow your money over time.
for anyone that has gone all in on a cryptocurrency like bitcoin would and should be considered a bad idea to some extent
because bitcoin carries its own risks, the most coming from traders who can easily manipulate prices to drop drastically and losing on our btc investments.
Maybe diversifying into different altcoins as a precaution to give you leverage on your investment should be the way to go.

I knew it from the start that bitcoin is going to be one of the best investments  that I knew with my entire life. Too bad that when I started to had enough knowledge on this crypto, that was the time that I don't have enough for buying. I regret that I haven't bought bitcoins with my funds at lower price as we can see the price of it now.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
quote]
Yes, it's good to put only a little percentage of your money in alt coins. The most profitable currency is Bitcoin, if you invest too much in alt coins you will probably lose profit opportunities with Bitcoins, unless you are an active trader and are on the internet all day long following the market steps.

You don't have to focus on just Bitcoin or altcoins when you can trade both at the same time. It will allow you to benefit from the high level of fluctuations that altcoins experience, and you can benefit from Bitcoin's ups and downs. You don't have to be a very active trader for this. If you just occasionally buy and sell, you'll do just fine. Profits are profits after all. I prefer to do it this way than to go full in trading. Full trading requires too much of my time.
Trading both altcoin and bitcoin as the same time is the best thing to do because it gives you two possible source of income and even though there is one of them that is not active then you can still earn profit i.e if bitcoin price was too high then the altcoin market will be inactive but you can still use your bitcoins to buy altcoins as much as you can because there is a high possibility that altcoins are too cheap.

I did place some of my money into bitcoin, in other words, I invested on bitcoin, it is a really good asset though, it's price are really unstable making it a bad and really wrong choice of investment when we are talking about profit. Making an investment to an asset means that you will be having a sure profit from it, without any complaints about it.

All you need to do is to sit and wait while your investment is in their hands making all the work, while you sit patiently waiting for your profit to come.

Right now, I have placed a few bitcoins in some pretty good coins that I see. ETH is one of them and I plan to do this up until a hard fork occurs, just to maintain some value and appreciate/get profits in the next coming months. I still remain long for bitcoin though.
ETH is a good coin to invest in for getting the profit but it is risky to put our all money in that coin just like we do in bitcoin because ETH is not a strong based currency like bitcoin. Bitcoin have many services and many people have adopted it which is the support for it and ETH is with lesser services.

I do not place all my fund into Bitcoin.  I have a habit of diverting my funds to different investment/market since I believe not to put all my eggs in one basket.  It is quite need an extra effort but we can be assure that if something wrong with Bitcoin, it won't eat all our funds.
I agree, you should not focus on one market because one market could fail and then you will lose all your funds, try to diversify and invest into more markets to ensure profit from everywhere, and the best one for us here is the alt coin market, investing in alt coins could turn out to be a good profit when the price of the bitcoin goes down.
yes that is right to say as investing all your money in one place is a foolish decision, you need to distribute your money in different places so as to reduce the risk of losing all your money in one time.

Fairly good and that would be the nicest idea for people to bare since if they really think smart for their money surely they can minimize their losses. But the hardest part their is to find on what investment type is legit to trust for since we are in anon world. And we should be more aware of scams since almost all of existing for now is running as ponzi scheme system.

No I did not place all my funds Into bitcoin.
See investment is a really great thing to do,
But I won't suggest you to invest your entire capital into bitcoin.
See until you don't want to take a big risk and just earn small amount of money via BTC ,
Then you should invest only that much whose loss you can bear.
So I don't suggest you to invest all your money inBTC until you don't want to take a big risk.
But taking risk also might yield you bad results too.

Investing all money only in bitcoins is really risky decision to make as we are not sure what will be the price of bitcoin in future either it will go higher or lower and if goes downwards then it will be a big loss for us so its always good to put only a small part of your wealth in bitcoins.

What I meant is that they are talking about that the risk is not going to give me profit. Just think about it, when someone introduce me to bitcoin at $400 and now the price is $980+ and it went $1,300+ already. So if I did believe to them probably my money did doubled or even tripled but well if there's no risk, no gain.

If you have invested in the past when the price was too low then you have already made some good profits by now and if you want to make good profits in future then you can afford to buy them even at present as price in long run will be definitely go higher so I don't there is too high risk in investing in bitcoins.

I haven't said that I invested in the past when the price of bitcoin is still low but I said that someone introduce me way back then. But many are saying and discouraging me not to do this type of risking everything I've got in bitcoin because they don't believe in bitcoin's fast progress though they know what bitcoin really is.

That is a smart strategy that every investor should follow as if you put all your money at single place and if that investment fails then you loose all money in one shot but if you have diversified your portfolio then you can expect profits from other investments even if one fails.

Right now as in you bought yourself a position into Ethereum at a price of around $50? I can understand that you are looking to hedge Bitcoin, but Ethereum at current prices is a risk too extreme from my point of view. I am not into altcoins, but I would rather go for Litecoin as this coin has more or less remained fairly stable. No pumps thus far as is the case with Ethereum and Dash.

ETH seems to be good at a moment for making an investment but if we talk about the long run then Bitcoin will always win the race but I believe this the best time to move some of our funds in altcoin market as its growing like anything and many people have made some huge profits in recent past few weeks by investing into altcoins.

I do not put or invest all my money in bitcoin.

Only a few percent, and it was as a reserve fund for the purchase associated with the online world.
Agree I also do not invest all my money in bitcoin why I do that? Because if invest all my money in bitcoin and bitcoin price start to dump my money also decrease  what if  bitcoin become dead my money also dead. So I dont recommend to invest all. JUST MAKE YOU HAVE REMAIN MONEY FOR THE PLAN B or backup. My other money is for several purposes.
