I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
For me, its not risky to put all your money to bitcoin because its depend on your action that you made will the result, it will be good or bad. Example, if you put all your bitcoin in online wallets, your bitcoin is risky and if you put all your bitcoin in cold wallets or storage, your bitcoin will be safer and secured then you can wait until the price of bitcoin is increase so that you can sell it at high then you can earn some profit.

Some people were suggesting OP to put at least half money in bitcoin. So bitcoin's price fall from 1200-1300 to 935and today's low was 895. Well, if there is high need for money in some case, what do you suggest him? For example if today he needs bitcoins for very neccesery reason? He needs to convertmoney and if he bought bitcoin when it's price was 1200, his lose will be high and he won't profit but lose some money. We have to foresee such situation.

Though the price now is pumping and dumping ranging to $895-$959(as of now) still putting almost half of your funds to bitcoin will depend on the investor. If they really do have faith in bitcoin and believe that they will reap this investment in the future its up to them. And those people that can do that are the ones that are actually wealthy enough.

Yeah people who have enough money can afford to invest huge sum in bitcoins and they are the people who can invest even if the price is higher but a person who wants to take calculative risk will never prefer to invest all his money in bitcoins as if things goes in opposite direction in future then it will be great loss for him which would be impossible to recover.

Not really a good idea. Even though that bitcoin is very promising, it is not wise to put all your money on one basket. As on any investment, you never go all in on one investment alone. It is better to have a diverse portfolio. It is safer.
yes i am also not in favour of putting all the eggs i one baskets. i think it is important to distribute your assets in different business as if one business is not giving your good profit then your other business will get good mony

That's right future is unpredictable and so the future of bitcoins as nothing can be guaranteed about the price of bitcoins as price can even go lower in future and we are witnessing the same at a moment so its always good to divide your investments at different places which will also divide your risks as if you put all your money in bitcoins and if price crashes in future then it will make you bankrupt and you will loose all your money at a single point.

No, we shouldn't do that. Although bitcoin have a lot of potential, but the short term fluctuation risk shouldn't be ignored. Especially for the new comers, they cannot stand this kind of loss in their accounts. If you are not comfortable with this kind of loss, I suggest you to buy small amount. Current its hottest debate is around the BU and Core. Bitcoin may fork in the near future.  Bitcoin is dumped in recent days.

I think, soon bitcoin maybe 800$ and down ...  For leading crypto currency, bitcoin serves only as an intermediary ... ETH, DASH can now be bought for real money, bypassing the purchase of bitcoin ...  Bitcoin - widely advertised bubble

Many people are optimistic about bitcoin prices continue to fall and also the issue of hard fork. Instead, I simply invest more when prices fall, only matter of time until Bitcoin down at the lowest point this year, I would buy as much as possible.

Do you ever wonder when prices fall will bring more types of businesses that use bitcoin including a signature campaign ?

Let fluctuations discovered the pattern perfectly, for those who are not familiar with trading, they will be greatly helped by it. the higher price of bitcoin only will make fewer business opportunities, bitcoin currency is decentralized and not only played by experts. The main thing is volume of quantity rather than quality.

I'm thinking right now what if I'm a newbie and amazed to bitcoin way back when it's price is at $1,300 mark. And I'm confidently that it will make my investment and funds grow so I did invest everything that I've got and right now upon seeing the price of bitcoin, it's falling for sure that will make us all frustrated and regret if you did this for real.

There is no time that comes in my mind to put all of my funds into bitcoin because why should I? Yeah I know we can make profits with bitcoin but the risks is present so we may lose on the other side and we will be left nothing if happened. That is what I hate and the worst thing I've done.

I think no because as you can see bitcoin is just a digital coin if you will invest all of your money in bitcoin you can loss not in bitcoin but in digital world because the expenses need fiat to pay bills buy foods and etc. so better to invest some or half of your fiat money.
Yes basiccally bitcoin is instrument of investments can be called new gold but bitcoin is not real gold  Grin
put all of money in bitcoin is bad because it is high risk losing money in bitcoin also bitcoin's price is fluctuation
there are no people who guarantee bitcoin will be price, so bitcoin is good for looking money with trading altcoins.  Wink

For me, I placed a lot of my money on bitcoins and I also am putting a lot of effort in gaining more of it. I really believe in bitcoins and I think it will really be the future of currency. It might not be the one that will truly move the world from what we use as financial mediums, but it will be the spar of a great change in how we deal with finances.
If someday these Bitcoin will be validated by the Government as the official currency, then I would put all my money into Bitcoin.
But if it's not yet ratified, then I just put some my money into bitcoin with trading altcoin. Because with trading we can get more profit.

Great, its a wise idea if you just put half of you money,  we need to be more clever than greedy, assurance for profit is a must because putting all your money is a big risks. But sooner if government will publicize or use bitcoin already for sure many will convert too into bitcoin.

beside wise idea, i think we need to have back up money of our life so if something happen, we still have real money for handling that problem. its good to place all of our funds in bitcoin but we have real life that we need to thinking and even if we have a family which we still buying food for them, buy another thing for our family.
Certainly, we should have some money for backup. By putting all the funds into the bitcoin
it will be more and there are opportunities to profit. With the big capital, the advantage that we get is big too.

I now fully realize that although we are all excited and upbeat on Bitcoin, it does represent also some risks and possible loss of money. Bitcoin is still relatively new and many still considered it to be experimental and as such it can be tricky at times with its amazing volatility. It is never advisable for anyone to put all eggs in just one basket and in this case Bitcoin. As they say, there is always the other side of the coin, in Bitcoin it can mean opportunity and risk. It is all up to us how we play the game and maybe how lucky we can get. Smiley
When you are agreeing bitcoin is still in experimental project, how we can go with all of our funds. But we can be sure that bitcoin will be having great future still diversifying would be the right option as per money management philosophies. Bitcoin's opportunities in terms of returns are really marvelous but we need to think about all kind of situations too, hence staying safer by diversifying is highly recommended.

I placed my funds in maidsafe before the BTC sunk.

MAIDSAFE is looking good... easy money then will convert back to BTC 1 month from now after the fork.

Join the bandwagon for MAIDSAFE.
oh well you did find a good place to advertise mate, but regarding to OP's concerned its always better to invest the amount that you can afford to lose just like most of the replied here, bitcoin can be good nor bad in the long run its the trust and timing that you need before pacing your entry.
