You are describing things wrong both are the same because you risk your money. If you are confident that you will get something from it then it is not investment. It is a risk free profit and you need to study more about it before you write this because what you are writting here is very messed up also describing the same thing with twisted words

To me investing is buying something and waiting a long time before selling for profit. Trading is buying something and planning to sell at a specific price in the short term.

i think both of them are the same nly with a few differences which do not make much sense. as when someone invest their money to buy any coin then it is also considered as to start trade so when someone start trade then he go to invest. That is all

In investing you can see what happen to your money and don’t need to do many things the company will do it for you. But in trading, it is the very different in investing. Trading is Buying and selling of shares of good profit in stock market day trading have the same sense means Buying or Sealing of share and book the profit/loss on same trading day.
Investing is putting out money to be sure of getting more money back later at an appropriate rate.

Investor and trader are generally have the same meaning for me as both are looking for profit on their buy and sell. Unless we are going to use a microscope to differentiate them.

Investing is more on the fundamental part of a coin/project/company. I think investing don't really need technical analysis or did they?

Trading is very dependent on technical and fundamental analysis especially day traders.

Trading and investing are somewhat the same as they both generates profit. But they have key differences on the the period of time your money will generate growth.

The goal of INVESTING is to gradually build wealth over an extended period of time wherein it enhances the profit through compounding or reinvesting any earned profit into additional shares of stocks.

While when stock are involved in frequent buying and selling with the goal of outperforming the rate of return of Investing, it is called TRADING.
