Can masternodes (for POS like DASH) will increase the price of DGB - why devs not to try to integrate it to DGB?

I cannot emphasise this enough, the developers and especially Jared does not do ANYTHING because of the price, this would just be a distraction from everything that they are working on.
I only talk about it from time to time to try and put a reasonable perspective on the conversation.  Of course long term, I expect the price to increase and I’m sure all the developers do too but to them and me, this isn’t as important as the tech itself.  Price is mainly of consideration to short term investors and their activities are not what are driving DigiByte or its goals. Of course we are never going to truly move away from this debate because it’s people and money but please don’t even think about asking Jared to do something because you think it will improve short term price, you will be wasting your time!

anybody know why this DGB always still go down ?
few month ago Iam bought DGB on price 1200 Satoshi but on this day price DGB just 124 Satoshi.
what can I do for my DGB ? Cut Loss or still holding on ?

wow, are you sitting in a -90% drawdown? I do not want to say anything, but I'm just wondering what you thought when you watched every day how your DGB is rapidly falling in price, and in parallel BTC issues X-files. Now then of course hold on to the victorious end, what is the point of giving away for nothing)

Wow, and I thought I was the one suffering heavy losses, including with Digibyte! What I was thinking when I bought at 160 satoshi: Amazing deals, it will surely go back to 300 for easy doubling. What I thought when it came down even more: Damn, what was I thinking?

But okay, funny side is over: those like us who bought into the project and its tech, we all had belief, didn't we? I still have that belief. Would never have sold even if I made 5x, since this is a long term hold like most of my alts.

But at -90% you really have no option, you might as well just hold. Risk losing the last bit of 10% for possibility to gain so much more. Hold strong, Asyifiah Wink

Holy shit! The ASIC's have arrived..

After a year of non-stop mining DGB (groestl) its time for me to move to greener pastures. Any recommendations?

Difficulty to the moon! From 6k to 82k. And only a few people received theres... I can only imagine what the difficulty is going to be like in a week.  Angry

Just not profitable now. This is insane.

Unless devs react to fix that situation... It will continue to go down.

If nothing happen, I'm about sure some dgb developpers got their hands on that baikal miner.

Sad, Digibyte was always my second favorite coin after Bitcoin, now it's only profit bullshit.

Firstly, I wouldn’t be sure that developers have Baikal miners at all because it’s not how they roll but I could always be wrong.

Secondly let us say you controlled 100% of all DigiByte mining at this time and at this price you sold all of it you would achieve under 6 BTC per day. Yet 24Hr volume on Bittrex is currently 185 BTC and 130 BTC on Poloniex, so I don’t think it is miners holding the price down.

Thirdly, Baikal may be mining loads of DGB right now but their business is hardware and they are selling it to the public. So do you think even they will be dumping all the mined DGB at this time? The profits customers can make will drive their sales and the demand for their products!

Finally, did ASICs destroy the price of Bitcoin or just push inefficient hardware off the network?
Look it isn’t great for distribution that there isn’t currently a 'fair' place for people using normal hardware to mine DGB and I think something should be done about this but at the end of the day I don’t think what is going on will really damage DGB at all, quite possibly the reverse!

I hope you guys realise that dgb will drop and drop as there is no algo change ?

Baical miners are getting insane profits selling these digibyte at the current price. You are warned.

This is awesome. I was very happy when I saw this in the foundation's website. With this kind of team, DGB will be at the top in a few years.

If you had a drop of that much then the best thing to do is to squirrle away your DGB somewhere safe and forget about them for the next few years, no point in selling now.

it's time for DigiByte to skyrocket, we've been waiting too long and I hope this year can reach at least $ 1.
I don't think it will make $1 this year, next year it has a chance, markets move in cycles generally and actually, a lot of cryptos have taken the same path as DGB and are starting to break out a little now.
not gonna happen and asics are coming for dgb so even more coins will hit the market

They are already here. Groestl difficulty is at 47K right now. I managed to mine a measly 22 DGB in the last 24 hours with my RX 570. It's unfeasible to mine anymore.

That's why algo changing is so important. This needs to be done asap if this coin wants to survive next year. I have my fingers crossed for the devs to do something about it, I don't want to stop supporting this but I will if there's no future.
