The Hong Kong Fintech challenge website says the award was announced on June 22nd why haven't we heard any news?

June 22nd
Prototype Demo Presentation & Award Recipients Announced.

Quote from the official digibyte telegram

https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@DGBalerts

"DigiByte Alerts:
To clarify we are not competing directly for any award tomorrow that is HK based. However as a global Tech 4 Integrity Finalist we have been asked by Citi to demo DiguSign, speak and participate on a panel discussion. We are very honored by their request and we look forward to interacting with several Asia based businesses."

They already announced the winners for that challenge to.

So digibyte lose the challenge then?

Digibyte remains over 1000 sat. This is the new low.

A new low? Hardly. I bought DGB awhile back for 32 sats and it has been lower than that.

They mean 1000sat is the new floor with support.

That can easily be broken. Support has been broken everyday this week. The only true support that can't be broken is 0.

Plenty bitcoin on Poloniex to support these prices. Traders are having a hard time to find another coin as valuable as digibyte.

True and those bitching about the low price now will wish they had bought plenty of it today a few weeks from now when it's doubled or better.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
Has anyone ever actually used digibytemarket.com to successfully purchase anything, or has it been a scam the whole time?

I'm pretty sure it was all a setup to steal $32 from some sucker fool. Looks like it worked..(just having a laugh..seriously though, $32? I loose that much per trade on fees alone).

Are you saying that given small amounts of money, it's OK for a business to not provide the advertised product?   Huh

Looks like Jared disagrees with your (stupid) POV, because he disabled digibytemarket.com's scamming functionality.

Before Scam Accusation:

After Scam Accusation:

See how that works?   Wink

Now where are my refunds?

[*excessive Happy Talk and pumpy marketing pablum omitted*]

Finally, a few housekeeping notes. All recent orders on DigiByte Market will be refunded due to the recent price fluctuations.

How insulting that Jared considers non-fulfillment of PAID CUSTOMER ORDERS to be merely dead-last-priority "housekeeping."  Good to know he cares much more about chasing Citi unicorns than actual paying users of digibytemarket.com.   Roll Eyes

Jared's response fails to adequately address the following questions/problems:

1. Why were the Market and Gaming sites abandoned in failure modes rather than being shut down gracefully after a proper public announcement?  Citi hype perhaps?

2. Why is "muh hectic price fluctuations" being used to excuse those failure modes?  Is Jared unaware crypto prices are volatile?

3. Will I be refunded the full 2*$16.00 for the Riot Points I never received, or the just the (now greatly depreciated 2*387 DGB) used for the transactions?

Very strang!e, every time DGB shows progress in development, you always come with the words envy and hate, no wonder if you love monero, one thing i want, do you have proof of transaction there? From the way you say is very clear you are a liar and jealous, for two years watch this forum, I have never seen you complain post something before and why just come up now?Liar and mouthed, But do not worry people like you would be worse than trash. The right steps you create a thread and get together with fellow junk

Because of your gambling on the price of the coin, you are triggered by me reporting the fact digibytemarket.com is a broken website with no working support options.

I just want the Riot Points I paid for.   Tongue

Why is it expecting too much for Digibyte Market to either fulfill customer orders or shut down until fixed?

I did not expect to find this stupid person on forum, the answer was given but still not understand and think.
I think the dumb person is real

Wow, normal post indiscriminately deleted by the moderator. Now I see what that other guy is complaining about. Hey moderator: deleting anything that you don't like makes you intolerant and weak. Shame on you.

Did you read the post? If you did it's quite apparent why it was deleted.

I was talking about *my* post from this morning that wasn't in the least bit problematic. It only explained the current market/mining dynamics causing down trending price action.

DigiByte is in a great position to win the #1st place prize which is money & most importantly real partnership with Citi Bank to help them bring their product to mainstream adoption! This is YUGE! Digi going to MOON!!!

When do they announce the 1st place prize winner?
