download the wallet client and store them on ya pc. always use a password to protect it and always keep multiple backups. cna also try and find to see if there is a paperwallet as well.

Apparently the demoday award was given to some company. But if I understood correctly, the main prizes will be given in July. But seems like people only saw that Digibyte did not win todays demoday award.

Don't really know why so many people sold today..would make more sense to let the price go up higher first. Some sell walls were over 100btc worth. If ppl hold so many DGB it doesn't make sense to force the price down by putting up a wall rather than splitting it up into stages.

pre dump fear i reckon. some obviously believe the results would cause the price to crash thus losing profits....

Or whales are pushing the price down so they can buy cheaper coins before the good news spreads

Won't catch me dumping my small bag.... short term may not be great but long term is where the money is gonna be made.

looking ahead is the only thing that stops the pain of this savage dump. I only wonder how long it will take to re-up

You could backup the Wallet .dat, install the new Wallet on top and let it sync. It´s not necessary to re-import the .dat file.

Yeah, as hallo_frosch said, just install the latest wallet & copy paste your backed-up wallet.dat over the newly installed wallet file. Then the wallet will need to resync the chain with the new wallet file. It will take several hours probably but just leave it overnight and you'll get your coins back fine. Make sure to backup your wallet file before you go copy-pasting, just in case.

You could backup the Wallet .dat, install the new Wallet on top (of the old one) and let it sync. It´s not necessary to re-import the .dat file.

Can someone help me out here, i mined from the beginning day one, but stopped mining years ago. Never looked at my coins again and kept them on my PC. Now i cannot sync the wallet. I need a new one, can i backup the DAT file, install a new wallet and put the old dat file back?
