Ok guys serious question, back in 2015 i had mined some digibyte and some other things and put the .dat file on a memory stick will that same .dat file work with the current wallet?  Or is there something else I need to do?  The problem is that i have all these .dat files from many of coins and i never labeled them so I guess it is going to be trial and error to see which on is correct.  Also does the Peers.dat file have anything to do with syncing my old wallet?

Thank you,
Adam

Yes, the old wallet.dat will work with the current version of the Digibyte wallet. However, as you say you will have to do some trial and error to get the right one. The peers.dat file contains connection information when you last synced. But as it has been 2 years since you last used it the information will probably be out of date. If you use the config I posted above that should speed up your sync. I'd work out which wallet.dat is correct first as that will reduce the re-scan time.

The quickest way will probably be to install the wallet and boot it up. Close it once it has booted and place you wallet.dat file in the aptdata folder. Boot up the wallet, get the address and check it against the block chain to see if it is the right one (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dgb/). If it's not repeat until it is. Also, don't cut the wallets to the directory, copy them. That way you will keep your backups Smiley.

i invested 500 usd in DGB at 650 sts. I am waiting for 1-5 usd per each. I am not a trader, so if DGB price decrease, i will spend my money buying more ^^
The Roadmap quite interesting, i think so. And i believe that it will reach at least 1 usd next year. And then i can have money to buy a department.

No offense guys, but just some info about digibyte:

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@lepton/digibyte-vs-minecraft-warning
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@cryptowatchers/digibyte-dgb-wtf-is-going-on

I'm pretty sure this is just a pump and dump activity. Everything points to that including daily volumes. I'm not really sure how high will it go before the actual dump. Volumes indicate that pump should be already over (digibyte got to the top of Polo volumes rank which usually indicates final pump phase).

I hear Digi wallet is hard to open and use . .
Anyone actually use this coin other than trading?

I also see others laughing at Digi having Minecraft server, saying anyone can do that.

Isn't Digi really just a scam coin, window-dressing?

1/10, must try harder.

The wallet is fine, I use it daily. I even did a post a couple of days ago on how to import paper wallets into it. It just takes a while to sync up on the first use.

I believe the Minecraft server is being done by a 3rd party, not the Digibyte devs. However it shows the coin is being adopted and used.

Scam coin, lol. A scam coin wouldn't have been a selected finalist for the Citi bank Tech for Integrity Challenge (https://www.techforintegritychallenge.com/ and http://www.techforintegritychallenge.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/Citi-Tech-For-Integrity-Challenge-Demo-Day-Finalists.pdf?x93924 page 34 for conformation of entry) for their DiguSign tech http://digusign.com/

IF YOU HAVE DGB STUCK IN DGIBYTE GAMING WALLET

1) Download a DGB 6.14.2 Core Wallet and make sure you back it up if you have not already downloaded one: https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/releases/tag/v6.14.2

2) Generate a new core DigiByte wallet address to send your funds to from your Gaming Wallet.

3) Download or clone this repository to your desktop: https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte-gaming-recovery

4) Open the Index.html file in your web browser

5) Enter your seed phrase and send funds to your core wallet

Note* This is a recovery solution, the issue still remains to be fixed with gaming wallet. So do not send funds to it for the time being.

PM us with any questions or issues. Several people have recovered all their DGB this way.

Please keep using the core v6.14.2 wallet!

Not working, just saying 0.00 - Insufficient funds.

I definitely have funds in 2 of the 3 addresses in that wallet. Any other options or any news on when the chrome app might actually work again? Constantly "unable to query blockchain", probably because the URL is trying to connect to digibytegaming which is also down. Someone help.
