Hello,

I'm having quite the time trying to get my wallet back up and running.   I was having severe issues with the blockchain but found the bootstrap on here and successfully got the client 100% up to date.   I then closed the client and replaced the wallet.dat with my backup and reopened the client.   I'm on v6.14.2.0 and it is currently "Rescanning...1%" and has been like that for some time.  Is this normal? I understand it is rescanning the wallet file for all the transactions along the blockchain, I'm just wondering how long its going to be like that and why it doesn't move past 1%.   Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

My best guess would be that it would take one to two hours. Probably the 1st 1% will be the longest but can't see any reason it would get stuck on 1% for longer than say 5 mins. If it seems permanently stuck try closing and re-opening the client (don't forcibly close it though).

The coin is a lil less then 2 PENNIES !!! It's been around sense 2014 and devs are active... why not Huh JEEZE
What's happened in the last week to make so many people buy this? I don't get it? No1 on the 3 crypro slack groups I'm in understands it to? What have we missed please

I want to know the same thing. It is a good time to be in gaming, but the competition in gaming related crypto currency is big. Unexplained price rises is dangerous and temporary, but well explained price rises can make new floors.

I think this way. Only RPCauth in digibyte.conf and the user with generated password into your minerconfig.

Transparency & Integrity

How's it going to be financed? Who's going to pay for the payouts?

If you ask me, it's on permanent pause.

why don't you let it go.. why are you even here? I've read thru the last 5 or so pages in the thread and all you do is FUD. Sounds like you're bitter for some unknown reason. There's countless other coins you could bash. how bout travelling to the bytecoin thread and bash the non existent devs over there. at least this dev is present. Just leave. and before you even try to reply to me with your concerns, just realize, I do not care and will probably not even read your response.

He's a hardcore XMY supporter, that's why. Just read his posts at the XMY thread.

Shame he shat all over his reputation so hard nobody will listen to him when he starts talking about XMY.  Wish he'd just get out of the DGB threads unless he wants to be productive again (not bringing up the same old posts in quotes every page to get maximum FUD).

Oh I feel soooooo sorry for you.

Reality bites.

And it's comical to see just how little you actually know about what you're doing and talking about. A hard core XMY supporter? ROFL

This new round of "newbies" to DGB has a profile exactly like the previous from a little over a year ago, but I'm certainly not going to say you're a bunch of sock puppets (even though it's uncanny just how similar you are). No. It's something much more telling: it's the profile that DGB attracts (as do the majority of other 2nd tier coins, for that matter).

I think I'm going to create another key analysis class to further differentiate 1st and 2nd tier coins: if the "community" is bothered by hard hitting questions and professional expectations, then it's 2nd tier, do not pass go.

I only sold 1/7 of my coins. Since I bought in at 100 sat, I didn't have to sell many coins to get my investment back
good news is, I got nothing to loose now and I can hold as long as I want

You've done well then! I really can't complain, I was buying DGB at 17sat - so selling at 260 wasn't painful for me at the time.

The price is @833 now which seems to be a perfect moment for people like you to sell at this price if you bought at 17 satoshi then this is a big profit.

I'm seeing for the first time DigiByte in top of traded coins in poloniex so checking what's new in this coin. [excited]
There are very few left with big bags who bought at 17 satoshi. I'd say we have a lot more now who bought in at 500+ sat. So unless these guys are really stupid, they won't sell now

I sold at 260 the other day. Filled with regert.

judge-rekt

You said it brother.

I sold at 260 the other day. Filled with regert.
Man thats gotta hurt. I only sold at 770 sat very small amount, just to get my initial investment back and I regret even that :/

It's ok, still made a fair amount of money. The lost potential is killer though!

You could always buy back in, it's still dirt cheap.
