I noticed that in the last few days since the recent price increase a huge amount of new people joined the DGB community and are now exploring its projects and features.
One of them is DigiByte Gaming which is an official DGB project. So yeah, it's the same team than DigiByte. However Jared (the founder of DigiByte) and his team were 100% focussing on the Segwit update for the last week and months and now (since DGB successfully activated SegWit) is focussing on the DiguSign platform as well as on the new DGB Gaming wallet.
So at the moment the payouts for DGB gaming are paused because there are some problems with the API's of League of Legends and World of Warcraft. The team plans on continuing working on the DGB Gaming project throughout the year after releasing both DiguSign and the new gaming wallet so it's not a dead project.

Personally I think the problem with the recent price and community increase is that there is a lot of false information out there so that's why I am doing this post. I am an early DigiByte adopter and following the project since its first days.

I would personally recommend everyone to do some research. Best start would be by watching the latest DigiByte roundtable video and YouTube which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeanPZYeyq8
The video was published like a month ago and Jared is talking a lot about the SegWit protocol update as this was a big topic to that date.
But besides this he is also talking about the other topics which I meantioned in my post.

Jared stated the following this week on the telegram channel:
"To let everyone one know we are still working on a fix for gaming wallet. We have been bombarded with messages for numerous reasons here recently across multiple platforms. Not just gaming wallet.  But lots of events, interviews etc."

As Jared mentioned yesterday he is working on publishing some more information about the recent progress and the road map in the next few hours.

TBH that's what I would have said in the 400s and now look at us. Current market is impossible to read accurately so using common sense & staying calm is very important.

Growth does not look natural. I think you should not buy now, so as not to be deceived.

Seem to recall a post addressing this very recently but no doubt it got buried in all the other posts. Either use the search function to look back or go on Telegram would be the best bet.

Digibytegaming is the same team than Digibyte? If so please be active regarding updates on payout from Digibytegaming, they are NOT working, more than 2k people registered having this problem, no solution for almost 3 months looks like project is dead, devs are not replying anything, and support is broken, can devs say something please? this is a big letdown for me, 0 communication.

I think we'll see at least a full 50% retrace of the entire move from 17. Obviously not tomorrow, but sooner or later. DGB is not a 1st tier coin. I hypothesize that P&D is dead, but I do so in general, and with reference to the very best. Minor league coins will continue to get pumped and dumped for a good while yet (IMO), and DGB is still very much in that category (IMO).
 

Given the price, I store mine encrypted in the core wallet. Unless you have a reason not to it should really be your first option

where do you recommend to storage DGBs safely?

I have seen that bullish too in Polo.  and I am so happy too since I tried to grab some DGB the past couple of  months.. bought them around 30-50 satoshis. and now I have taken my capital and just waiting for my profit to have and get more profit.  I hope developers continue to develop more projects for this coin.  I think it has more future Joe a great potential.

I sold a substantial portion of my holdings thinking "surely there will be a retrace" and I can make an easy few hundred thousand DGB profit here, and then it shot up yet again lol. I've given up hope of a substantial retrace, although I think we could see a 150 Satoshi flash crash. After it peaks of course it will "rebalance" perhaps 10% or so, but even after so long in the DGB market I can honestly say I have no idea where that peak may be. As your quote says, straight up or not at all, but it went straight up & then more, way past my wildest imagination.

DGB trading update:

David Halsey, the author of Trading the Measured Move, likes to say that markets move in measured moves, then extensions, and then straight up. When markets get to that straight up phase, he loves to say “it’s straight up, or not at all”.

That’s where DGB is right now: straight up, or not at all.

He also likes to say that only dumb bulls buy at highs.

That having been said, when markets are going straight up, it’s totally unpredictable. That’s because they are completely emotional markets at that stage. There’s no way to put good targets on the board. For example, using all kinds of TA references, the possible targets range from 900 SAT to 1800 SAT on this current thrust higher. Obviously, 900 SAT is much more likely from a probabilistic standpoint, but there’s really no way of getting a good gauge on things. The last good maximum extension target was 813. That why it’s “straight up, or not at all”. Watch the 15 minute charts for the first trend failure and then dump everything you’ve got left.

Because there will be a full 50% retrace of this move, IMVHO.

Digibyte just over took 1st place of being most trading coins with highest volume on the bittrex. Now there is no more question who missed the train has last chance to get on. DGB is really to the moon this time. We are going to experience another coin which will touch five figures volume.

I think digibyte is paying you for playing games(work in progress till 10th june), and GameCredits its just introducing their coin as a payment option in videogames.
