We just released v6.14.2 which fixes the wallet loading delay where a wallet might take 20+ minutes to open (should open within a minute or two):

The soft fork progresses through 4 phases:
    THRESHOLD_DEFINED,
    THRESHOLD_STARTED,
    THRESHOLD_LOCKED_IN,
    THRESHOLD_ACTIVE,
    THRESHOLD_FAILED,

Earliest we might see locked in is about 12 days from now.

Threshold = 70%
Period = 1 week

(1 week for Started, 1 week for Locked In & 1 week for active.. this is 2 weeks for each for LTC & BTC)

You can mine DigiByte on one of five separate mining algorithms. Each algo averages out to mine 20% of new blocks. This allows for much greater decentralization than other blockchains. In order for an attacker to hardfork DigiByte the attacker would need to control 93% of the hash rate on 1 algo, and 51% of the other 4 making DigiByte much more secure against PoW attacks than other blockchains.

Any reason the wallet still look the same as before or was this mainly beneath the hood update?

we've updated our wallets on www.zpool.ca but the stratum servers are not yet segwit compatible.

Someone recommended me few days ago to invest some money in this by saying it would be next on the table of whales to help the price go up. It was very good decision which made me much happy. This is all times coin which shows strength and profit in short periods of times.

Lot's of good, innovative and promising coins are NOT (yet) on Polo and yes, GRS has Segwit since monhts already.

Its only the coins on Poloniex that are the serious coins. The rest don't count.

Whales on Poloniex have confirmed the price will go over 100.

We are happy to see the progress that DigiByte is making!

We always look at the brighter side with positive attitude so in this regard of slow moving I have same opinion it may be resolved somehow in future. Blockchain is hot at the moment and many experiments are being done on it. It may be possible to overcome this issue of larger chain to be fixed somehow in near future.

Digibyte has almost 4.5 million blocks, you can't compare it to the speed of other coins that have less blocks, if you keep your coins on Poloniex and Bittrex you don't have to worry about the long sync times.
