What does Digibyte has to do with Binance? As far as I know DGB is a coin intended for using in micropayments and aims to be massively adopted, while Binance is a coin exchange? I don't see why there's conflict.

The problem is that Tima DGB wants to register to the binance exchanges.
But Binance set a high price to get into the exchange.

Well, some of the folks at DigiByte supposedly made some negative comments about Binance. I can't guarantee the trustworthiness of this information, but you can find some more about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/81ikpw/binance_100k_a_fundraiser_an_update/

hahaha what are you talking about binance fanboy

I'm talking about Jared Tate taking an aggressively anti-Binance stand on Twitter. I'm talking about the DGB devs and community leaders pushing weird conspiracy theories about Binance in the official DGB Telegram. I'm talking about community members - such as yourself - assailing anyone who questions why there is such a negative Binance slant with this coin.

It's all very fishy.

And yes, I am a fan of Binance. Most people are these days, after how professionally they've managed their exchange. On the same day Binance handled a hack better than any crypto exchange in history, you have the creator of this coin tweeting about their "shady business practices." This is terrible optics and not good business, especially when there is a DGB community initiative to raise the Binance fee completely separate from the Foundation. Just hamstringing this coin for no reason.

I think the general myopicism of people in the DGB community will ultimately see this coin flounder. It basically needs to be on Binance to succeed, that's where the action is, that's where the liquidity is, that's where the adoption and excitement are. But no, listen to some anonymous dev's seventeen Telegram messages about how I have insider info on Binance about to go under in a year or two.  Roll Eyes

No vision with this coin. No ability to see the bigger picture. No pragmatism. Personal attacks on those who disagree, even though they want to see DGB prosper just as much.

Not a bad coin, but definitely has some fishy aspects.

OP would have more credibility if they weren't hiding behind an obvious sockpuppet account.

Hello everybody. As for the equipment, I recommend that you consult with specialists. Many give advice, but not always it works. Good luck to all.

Can anyone advise what would be the best options are for someone who wants to start mining dgb. What kind of equipment would I need?

Are you for real? Seriously, you think DGB is fishy because it doesn't want to pay an insane fee for getting listed on Binance. They wanted Pillar to pay $500k to be listed and Pillar said on your bike as well.

Hey digibyte so I dont think that not being in Binance is a big deal, price technical analisis is on our side, but without the propper marketing, and some unique features, we will not make it alive for when Blockchain technology is actually adopted and used, who gives a crap about a fast and secure old cryptocurrency if we all still use fiat on our daily transactions?

Betting on DGB is not like betting on btc or eth at all, the usecase of dgb is limited to the dream of blockchain payments mainstream adoption, while the big guns are offering store of value and dapps, that to me, makes more sense in the actual present world. Betting on DGB is going all in on Blockchain payments being widely use some day, and thats just one aspect of this technology.

Can anyone tell me why this coin has so publicly made itself an enemy of Binance? Seems like a terrible business decision, especially as Binance is being universally praised and lauded for the responsibility they're bringing to the cryptoverse.

If you go on the DGB Telegram, you'll see admins posting bizarre FUD about "inside information" they have that Binance "won't be there in a few years." Anyone who asks about Binance is told they're a fraud and a scam. This is very weird. The CEO bashes Binance on Telegram and very publicly on Twitter, undermining the community effort to get DGB listed. They keep saying over and over again they've tried to get DGB listed, but it looks more like they just hate Binance.

It's kind of ridiculous an old coin like this somehow isn't on the world's most popular exchange four years on. It's a huge market that is being left completely untapped for what appear to be weird conspiracy theories on the part of the devs. Why is it so hard for DGB to get on Binance, when every single one of DGB's competitors have managed to do it? Something isn't right here.

Evidently Binance asked DGB to pay a $100k upfront fee to get listed. I don't know if I believe that anymore, as much FUD as these Digibyters sling about Binance. In any case, what DGB would gain in adoption and liquidity would be worth this fee x1000 times over. But no, let's have the creator sh*t on Binance some more publicly, ruining DGB's chances of gaining widespread use in the Chinese market.

Very odd case. It shouldn't be this hard. $100k to Binance is a lot more valuable than $10k to some fashion designer PR firm.

Why does DGB hate Binance?

If Binance was aware that DigiByte is not an ICO and they should be, their argument for payment to list DGB does not hold any water!  DigiByte development teams could achieve far greater things for the DigiByte community with the funds Binance has requested as proof of commitment.  I think you would struggle to find a more committed development team than DigiByte!  We also have a very patient community because we know our technology is GOOD and it will stand the test of time…..so no worries!

DigiByte has never paid to be listed anywhere officially and that's the way it will remain!

Why DGB dev give 100k$ bribe to binance? They can use these 100k $ for future development purspose and soon more better exchanges will launch and DGB will get listed there. DGB is 4 year old legitimate project, It does not need to pay any kind of bribe.

I have not heard about DGB for a long time. Hope there is an update from the dev team.
Maybe this month there is good news from DGB that I expect.  Smiley

The best thing to do is to join their Telegram group https://t.me/DGBalerts, they are very active and post a lot.
Yes indeed, the most direct way to get real-time news & information on the DigiByte Blockchain is to follow the DGB Alerts channel on @telegram https://t.me/DGBalerts
