Looks like there's serious drama swirling in the DGB leadership. At best, a misunderstanding; at worst, it appears the community leaders and a minor YouTuber may be embezzling community-raised funds from the DGB community.
This post was deleted by the admins on DGB subreddit without any explanation. Similar stuff is floating around their Telegram. A real mess. Make of it what you will; I'm not the OP. Only posting here because I know it would just get deleted on their reddit, Telegram, etc.
Not trying to FUD; just trying to keep the devs honest. Community deserves answers.--
Earlier today I noticed an exchange in the official DGB Telegram that left me very concerned for the well-being of this coin and the community-raised marketing funds. In the interest of transparency, I have screencapped all the messages in question and will be giving a synopsis here on reddit so the entire DGB community can see what is going on. I have documented everything and plan to post this message elsewhere in case it is taken down here on reddit.
Let me say at the outset that I hope this is just a big misunderstanding, but this sort of behavior is normally associated with less-than-reputable coin projects.
If you want to do your own research, you can browse the official Telegram channel for all the messages I post here:

Core team member and DGB Telegram admin Sinone reacted incredeously to the call for another round of community funding (ostensibly for the new wallets) - the Bounty Fund - arguing that there should still be funds leftover from the PR firm fund:
https://imgur.com/cBRNMMpSinone receives a largely non-sequiter response from disovernow digibyte - who I believe is an admin on this subreddit - who starts talking about his kids and being retired and how he has given lots of money to DGB over the years. Very odd. Same image:
https://imgur.com/cBRNMMpSinone elaborates on the situation, basically stating his access to the multi-sig wallet that houses the PR firm funds has been revoked(!).
Major red flag.
https://imgur.com/mDBCvgdIn an exchange with another user, Flo, Sinone further elaborates, explaining his access has been revoked to the wallet that only he and two others had access to. This essentially leaves all the community funds in the hands of two or less people at this point in time. This is highly unsettling and suspicous:
https://imgur.com/RW8KJTtThis response from Patrick Wieland really bothered me. "No one's going to respond here lol," as if the DGB community doesn't deserve transparency. In what world is a YouTuber who arrived to the DGB scene a few months ago talking down to an admin and core DGB team member? Does Patrick have access to the community wallet? I appreciate all the shilling he's done for DGB, but this is highly unprofessional.
https://imgur.com/hFToIEXEven more disturbing, Sinone reveals he has tried to previously get an answer about this in private, but no one is responding. This is now beginning to look very scammy. Same image:
https://imgur.com/hFToIEXPatrick then expounds a bit on the situation with marketing, in a series of messages that are much more professional and enlightening. He implores people to be realistic about the amount of money they're working with, and says the PR firm is waiting for significant milestones before shilling DGB. But this begs the question - if the funds for development are being used for PR that is waiting for development, isn't this a cycle of non-action?
https://imgur.com/wlcZIavSinone replies to another user about the situation, saying he's been left out:
https://imgur.com/RXF9LZqThis is the last message I could find from Sinone. In it he says nothing has been resolved as of this time:

All in all, I am now
deeply concerned with the leadership of the DGB community. This is absolutely not the sort of exchange one wants to see happening between a core team member and other community leaders on the official Telegram. Combined with the fact that Jared has taken to bashing Binance and spreading bizarre FUD about their "shady business practices," I am now thinking of exiting my positions in DGB today (for a modest profit).
Something never sat right with me since the Binance drama, why it was just
so hard for DGB alone to get on Binance, why the DGB leadership is so anti-Binance and push "insider information" they supposedly have about how corrupt Binance is, why they keep saying Binance won't be here in a year or two, and now this? It's simply too much. Binance, by the way, is being universally praised today for how they handled their hack yesterday... not exactly all that shady, it would seem. Can't tell you how thrilled I am the creator of DGB publicly made this coin an enemy of the world's most highly-regarded exchange at the moment...
I hate to FUD my own favorite coin, the one that could make me a very wealthy man, but there are now serious, unavoidable red flags popping up around the DGB space that
need to be addressed. Jared, Josiah, Patrick et al. all seem like good guys who are trying to make DGB succeed, but this has given me serious doubts.
The Digibyte community deserves answers. What the hell is going on?
