The future is bright with DigiByte.
Shapeshift released a Iphone trading app.  I do not have a Iphone but i'm almost 100% shure Digibyte is listed.   (Shapeshift listed DGB)
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114512/first-ever-iphone-app-for-trading-every-major-digital-currency-released
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shapeshift-instant-crypto/id996569075?ls=1&mt=8

Edit:Yes,Digibyte listed.

Awesome, this is what I have been looking for so long... This app will be game changer and good for Shapeshift!

PS: One problem is that they do not provide a better rate since it is basically a self-converting process.
Another possible issue, I would like to point is that how they can manage to hold enough fund to cover any possible outage on a particular coin?

The coinomi wallet https://coinomi.com/ that DigiByte announced earlier does a seamless conversion from BTC to DGB using Shapeshift.

So that means, by releasing this shapeshift app, we no more need coinomi? Smiley

BTC is actually just a shitcoin lol, it gets soo much attention just because it was the first coin ever.
If it was a altcoin it would be at 1 cents.

The future is bright with DigiByte.
Just in or at least around last week:
Debate on choosing to increase Bitcoin's block size to 20MB is still ongoing.
However, i came across this - Bitcoin XT.

I came across this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1077374.40. I do not know if its a Troll-Thread or a Serious-Thread. But if its a Serious-Thread, will this affect altcoins in any way?

Just trolls
We feel this ongoing debate between Gavin & the rest of the Bitcoin community is providing us with an opportunity to highlight DigiSpeed. We are working to make sure it is absolutely good to go before we release it though.

For those that don't know Gavin decided to go ahead and release Bitcoin XT along with a couple of the core devs who agree on the 20 MB hardfork. However, several other prominent players in the Bitcoin system have come out against the 20 MB hard fork, including the two major Chinese exchanges.

so Gavin decided to just do it?  But what if the majority will not update?  Big miners will pull theire hashes go on go on.....  Could be f*cked for Bitcoin,Good for Digibyte?

I have been reading that the internet connection from some big chinese farmers will not be able to handle the 20mb hardfork. Does this have any affect on Digibyte/Digispeed?

Looks like Gavin already has: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/394fn1/mike_hearn_in_about_1_week_bitcoin_xt_will/

i am quite concern and confuse with the part about them talking about "Bitcoin Core's BTC" and "Bitcoin XT's BTC". like whoever still owns Bitcoin Core's BTC will become worthless and start to lose its value over time while Bitcoin XT's BTC will retain its value and rise over time. i have no idea how this will manifest. i was like "WHAT? Since when was there 2 kinds of Bitcoin???". Is this pure nonsense?

As far as logic tells me, i *think* it shouldn't have any negative effect on altcoins though. Like what Jared has said, it can provide an opportunity for Digibyte regarding Digispeed.

That is weird!
That will only create a Chaos for BTC, why they want it? Think about that...
Is it because, they are looking to kill Bitcoin and replace with an alternative coin they are heavily invested Wink Wink

If this is the case, I think a few other Altcoin will have to compete for replacing bitcoin. I think that is where DGB, LTC, NXT and a few other coins play the most important role and that will be an opportunity for Altcoins, not a drawback at all, from my point of view. LETS GET READY DGB for that moment before any other coins do. We have to speed up!

Smiley So where can I spend my Digibytes directly? In how many shops? And what are the plans concerning adoption by merchants worldwide? To me as an investor these are the most important factors when it comes to deciding to invest in Digibyte or not. Right now I got about 3.5 million, how much more should I buy? How much ya'll got?
well, you can spend your Digibytes directly in some shops like House of Blue Jeans (http://www.bluejeansonline.nl/)
Or you can buy giftcards at https://giftoff.com/gift-cards
And 3.5 million ain't too bad, only buy what you can afford to lose.
Although i'm telling you that, i broke that rule a few times on DGB Tongue
btw i'm in the top 10, thats all i can tell you Tongue

Okay, well I hope more merchants will accept Digibyte directly soon. I hope they become worth 10 dollars then you got at least 500 million dollars, not a bad investment  Cheesy
well that is a very very optimistic price target, but yeah nobody knew btc could reach 1000$usd.
Everything is possible in this cryptoworld.

We need more volume/marketcap to step into that spotlight. We are just to low in volume for the big investors and merchants,For now Wink

I think this is the juncture where bitcoin becomes another alt'coin itself, while trying to pretend it is still original. This will negatively affect mass adoption of bitcoin, is way too confusing for newbies and the exodus to lite coin has probably already begun but why litecoin? Swap your bitcoin for DigiByte! Smiley
