We have a couple of advertising and marketing projects ... in addition we have the DGB media kit and a press release for the recently released Digibyte Gaming Wallet.

We've had a minor setback but the release time frame for DigiStats is still on for next week. There's still a couple of finishing touches that are pending but the platform is almost ready!

Also ... just want to say congrats to the DGB team for the success on Digibyte Gaming Wallet.  Great work there guys ...  cheers to you.

I agree.  I agree that merchants should add DGB because it's a great payment protocol.  I don't like the pay-to-play approach of many sites like coinpayments.  I especially don't like the fact that coinpayments requests $500 up front - and then we are subject to continued payments of $250 every 90 days if the purchase volume is not above $5,000 ... that makes me think that they don't generate enough revenue through their marketplace.  That's not a development fee ... that's a service agreement.

I also see the other side of the coin.  Developing payment gateways is complicated and requires lots of time.  We can't expect companies to simply do it out of the kindness of their hearts.  And, I think we do need a payment gateway that is widely available and can be marketed to merchants.  I would be in favor of working to get DGB added to https://gourl.io/ ... even though they have a voting system and it requires paid votes and free bonus votes for cross promotion.  Unlike coinpayments ... https://gourl.io/ would give us access to millions of merchants through woocommerce and wordpress ecommerce.  

However, I also think that we need to act strategically.  We need to be directed and focused.  https://gourl.io/ might not be our best option.  We need to plan our growth and not just try to get added somewhere just so that we generate news on a short term basis.  We need to consider the direction of DGB, the growth of DGB, and we need to have a plan to implement our promotion, marketing, and outreach.  

I got some filled (~5m), but could have been better to have some more at 42 ... Geessseeee lol

Jared asked me to have a go at the banners for the Digibyte gaming wallet..So i did but i didn't think of the copyrights.We cannot use them but still want to share  Maybe someone want to use it for something else.

Yes, that is exactly what I think. We should never pay for adding DGB to any where... They should add it because they think DGB is one of the best coins out there to have in their system.
That will make it more reliable. Also I think this PR, media thing should start soon once we have the gaming platform ready to go... I think we can invest more into PR/Media/News rather putting money into useless services (for now useless).

Think about it, how many of you EVEN use the so-called amazing! platform shapeshift as an exchange in a serious way. You would NOT right? Because the rate is so low comparing to any other exchanges. So, similar for any other services... If there is no mass adoption of DGB or some great updates or services withing DGB platforms, then we don't need any services, but only 2-3 exchanges.

Also the price is still pressurized down (I do not care though), even though there is good news that we have the gaming wallet ready. It is people cannot (just yet) see where DGB is heading Again this is also related to PR/Media, which we probably intentionally don't have it yet. I do not know what all those dev team are doing. But PR/Media guys definitely doing nothing for DGB so far So I guess they know something (hopefully).

I think we have spend enough Digibytes already for adding services,There comes a time when a payment processor / other service needs to add Digibyte because of it demand of the merchants/customers and not because we have bought into it.

Less awesome Has anyone reached out to coinpayments?

Due to our eagerness to add Digibyte at Noobie.io and accommodate its awesome community we did not check if it was supported at Coinpayments.net.

Noobie.io uses Coinpayments  as payment processor, the last few days we have looked into ways to add it regardless and make changes in the way Noobie.io works but for the time being there is no way around it.

We have put Digibyte on the top of the to-add-list and will add it as soon as you guys are on Coinpayments.
