Thank you for your question. It is great hearing from you.

The Max Bet is specific to the bet that you ordered, it is always referring to the max that can be bet (risked) and not to the max that can be won (win amount).

For example if the Max Bet is 12 BTC, you can send a 12 BTC bet to the given BTC address.

Unless the bet odds are very high, the max bet size is at least 1 BTC and can reach as high as hundreds of BTC for certain bets.

For Sports Betting, in most cases you can bet more than the maximum advised.

If you are interested in placing larger bets you may still be able to do so, as explained in more details here : http://www.directbet.eu/FAQ.cshtml#MaxBet

For Direct Dice and our new All-In Poker, if you bet more than the maximum advised your bet will be rejected and refunded regardless of the result.
The maximum amount that you can net profit from each Direct Dice or All-In Poker roll is 7.77 BTC. So for example, if the bet odds is 1.01 decimal, the max bet size is 777 BTC. If on the other hand you select a Direct Dice bet with odds of 2, the max bet size will be 7.77 BTC.
The Max Bet presented in the bet ID page is always the max that can be bet (risked) - the max that you can send.

Hey it happened with me too sometimes but let me explain you , what happens is they don't see your transaction , please use a proper windows wallet , i am sure you are using some online wallet , anyways the owner will answer it best possible way !

I wouldn't call bitcoin core 'some online wallet' .

The reason why your bet was not confirmed is explained in our Rules as well as in the Help section on our website.

Hey, if I may add a suggestion to your book, I always make my bet at nitrogen (95%). There are 2 reason: 1- They release picks way earlier (already have 6 units at 0.5btc/unit in play for week 3 NFL). When you post late it means I cannot use line movement therfor have rarely any value. 2nd is obviously the odds are -105/-105 of nitro. I know that it's very slim margin sometime it makes my decision. I always prefer better line to bonus. I'd prefer to bet at DirectBet cuz you send back the coins but atm both of these issues prevent me from betting often.
