I have added Betarigs (Scrypt and X11) to the spreadsheet, but not to the charts yet.

There is a surge in demand for Scrypt hashrate right now. Check out nicehash if you want to make a few quick satoshis.

What's interesting is the fact that X11 seems to be right up there in terms of payout-amounts, together with the scrypt based multipools. This while using substantially less electricity. I.e. if they bring equivalent payouts, using them should be a no-brainer...

great comparison chart. i've seen links to this within many other threads.
have you looked to include https://www.ipominer.com/ has around 4000Mh/s
ipominer is a big headache to say the least.
They also happened to calculate exchange rate by the SELL price sometimes on some coins. Which was way, way, way off to BID prices.

Yes but when you do it right and speculate a bit then you make good profit with them.

But you are right the Profitability calculation is very real-time I calculate myself 24h earnings per coin per bid price to decide which coin I mine from them.

Cheers,

Christian
Yeah, if you speculate and risk a lot, you may earn 3 USD net in a day, 0,5 USD more than without speculation and manual trade... (At least for my 3000 USD worth rig speed that is.)

it is strange the trademybit Mh/s on all 3 algo is almost the same amount. there is no difference at all. why is that? I thought I maybe a little bit better.

It's nearly the same on most pools, not just TMB. It's probably because miners tend to switch to whatever seems more profitable, which brings hashrate and difficulty up and equalizes profits. But at least X11 does have an advantage since it's more energy efficient.

how do I calculate how many btc I get per day with trademybit x11 pool?

since today is 0.003 , my speed is 8 Mh/s. how many btc/day I am getting?

0.003 is for a "Scrypt equivalent" Mh/s, which is ~1/3 of X11 hashrate. In other words, with your 8 Mh/s you would be getting approximately 8/3 * 0.003 = 0.008 BTC per day. Just keep in mind that "today" on the charts means "last 24 hours" and this does not guarantee future results Smiley

Added TradeMyBit X11 pool and re-added their Scrypt-N pool as well, since it's been doing relatively well recently. I know the colors are getting more and more confusing, please use the spreadsheet whenever in doubt.

I think I haven't said this enough - I greatly appreciate all the support for this project, here in thread, via PMs, and donations. Thank you all!

This looked interesting but are you not missing one big thing?   The BTC increase in difficulty???  Meaning what your earn today for 100 KH, in 6 months will be 90% less?

He's just a troll spamming his referral link... don't feed trolls or they'll bite off your hand Smiley

I should have known better..  His video was JUNK and made no sense and sounded like it was done by a retard..

Up to now I've only mined scrypt with GridSeeds. But recently I gained access to a new Mac Pro that has dual D700s. I'll only have this machine for a couple of weeks.

Rather than do what I already know and point these GPUs at a scrypt multi pool, it occurred to me that I now have the opportunity to experiment with scrypt-n.

So if you were me with 444.1Kh/s worth of GPUs for a couple of weeks, where would you point it?

No major changes today.

Just one thing I realised: X11 hashrate is nicely "translated" to Scrypt equivalent hashrate to make the charts comparable, but maybe it is not that clear to people that X11 uses about 40% less energy too.
So, the 0.00301276 at "translated" hashrate seems rather low, but it is still OK when taking into account the less energy it takes to obtain.

That is correct. I have a plan - and even mentioned towards the bottom of OP - to create a comparison of power consumption/efficiency. It's not just about X11 vs Scrypt but also NVIDIA vs AMD and so on. But it gets a bit dicey when it comes to different levels of tuning, so I need to come up with a reasonable method to measure power consumption.

No major changes today. As mentioned above I'll be adding TradeMyBit X11 within the next couple of days and will probably bring back TradeMyBit Scrypt-N as well.

I tried to make the 5-day chart more readable by enlarging it, but there is still a lot of overlap there. You can get somewhat better visibility if you use the spreadsheet - you'll be able to select a specific item, highlight it on the chart, and it has popups too:
