Presuming that this chain will not move again. How many of you still have Silkcoin in their wallets? Please contact me through pm..

edit: Wow it has moved a block!  Shocked

I have my 300k still staking, trying to get the chain to move but it's on my work computer, which I can't access from home.  Maybe that's what did it or maybe it was Bitcoinasaurus bringing his wallet back online, haha.

It seems there are some left in my wallet so im staking as well, i'm up to block 1758736. I will keep it running!

4 connections but still stuck at this after a week

we need to defreeze this block somehow
Any ideas guys?

My wallet, with mature coins, has been online and set to stake since this problem started so I'm not sure what is holding everything up.  It makes no sense.

I'm going to give it until this weekend and then may have to re-provision the vms that 've been using for the 2 daemons.

Been tired up for the last week, trip out of town and then the day job crap that pays the bills.  Just catching up on all that I missed.  I need to check the nodes I have running and possibly set some more up to see if it helps at all.  Tons of things to catch up on this weekend but will post something tonight ot tomorrow.

no idea what the problem is to be honest. I checked with another coins wallet, there  I have all connections with inbound:false as well, but runs without problem.

Maybe the difficulty can't go as low as it would be needed in this situation, like Qibuck coin has it right now?

Or not enough wallets with coins, for the required 10 confirmations?

I'm very happy that I just made it out 2 weeks before the chain crashed for good, but sorry for the guys left on the wrong side.

until some one with mature coins stakes we're up shit creek! I closed my wallet until some blocks move. My coins won't mature until then, so it's basically a waste of energy until some one pops up.

I know one way that we may get an old wallet to pop back up on the scene, in fact quite a few may pop up. When I found by pure chance the "new Silk" thread I had no idea that it even existed as I was only checking on "Silkcoin" from "coinmarketcap" link here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/silkcoin/ and it was locked on page 211 many moons ago and every time i kept looking every couple of weeks or so, I still thought it was dead and noting happening. This link is still showing on coinmarket cap right now and how many others are like me who have no idea as they are not bitcoin forum type of people so to speak.

The link to "Silkcoin old on coinmarketcap" needs to be updated to this new thread asap and we will have some stragglers stumble along for sure. I have a mate who I know has some very old mature coins from years back, but he would have to update his wallet and stuff, but he has a 100,000 odd.
i will contact him tonight.

Can someone change the link on coinmarketcap ?

I don't know who has the ability to do that.
Anyone know?

I just filled the request form on their website

Hi
A lot of investors that follow the Silkcoin don't know about the new ANN,
and the change to Silk(SLK) and they think the coin is dead because the links on your website are dead
If you can modify these
ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rebranded-to-duality-blockchain-solutions-1601099
explorer: https://silkexplorer.silknetwork.org/
site: https://silknetwork.org/
it would help a lot of people
Thanks

maybe that helps

That's great ttoroie.  Hopefully that will help.  I just checked both daemons both have 13 connections but still are on block 1758735;

That would be beneficial for sure, he would move allot of blocks if it's been a while. We just need to move some blocks.

Nicely done.  If it brings a few wallets online, that would be sweet.

Went through a bunch of reboots and restarts of the new VM and the majority of the connections are now inbound true
That's with an empty wallet locked and not staking
going to try switching back to the original wallet and unlocking it for staking and letting it run although it will max out the vCPUs
