Will put some money on Argentina, but it's going to be tough game. BTW, I read that in tonight's game halftime will be 30 minutes instead of 15 because of Shakira performance. I like her, but do they really need to make Superbowl from Copa America, why not to make performance before the game?

Don't know why exactly, but I didn't counted on Brazil seriously to win Copa America. Brazil disappointed, but I get more disappointed by USA, I expected that hosts can reach semifinal at least.

Brazil ruined a free bet I had as I placed all of it on them in the game against Colombia and they got and drew while if they were first in the group and had won that game maybe things would have changed.Lately Brazil is not what it used to be regarding soccer,they are going down everywhere there,they have even been beaten by Germany in a World Cup 7-1 and that is something to never be proud of,yes I remember all their bad lost games now,lately they have nothing to be proud of from their national soccer team although they have quite some big names there,they have the same illness of forever,they can't harmonize players between each other and this is what needs to be fixed for them.

Yes, USA play the group phase thinking more in quarter finals than the games they had to play first, and for that Panama caught them off guard and send them home.... well they were already in home, you know what i mean.

But this can be good for them lets see which new coach take the charge, some big names sound.

About Brazil, i dont know why Brazil historically dont make good appeareance in America cups(asides of being the 3º one with most tittles).

The USA should have made the quarter-finals at the very least, it was a shame especially losing to Panama, who are so used to playing against
I hope that in the World Cup, the USA and Mexico can have a more satisfactory campaign to bring a little joy to the fans who will be able to watch the games "at home"

I was already worried that Brazil might lose in at least the final, but I didn't imagine that they would finish second in the group and then be disqualified on penalties. But that's how things happen in Brazil lately, just like what happened in the 2022 World Cup, they manage to beat a weaker team, they get excited, they think they're the best team in the world, they go into the next game thinking they're going to win easily, without humility, and they lose the next game

Whatever the outcome of the Argentina vs Colombia game, I think the Colombian team should be very proud of what they've achieved so far
Over 20 games unbeaten, beating world champions, coming 1st in Brazil's group (they didn't lose to Brazil), and qualifying in a game against Uruguay with 1 player less and managing to hold on to a very difficult result

This team has already done a solid job and is fully capable of continuing and play the 2026 World Cup and reach at least quarter finals
An important detail: Colombians have come out in masses to watch the games, and at World Cup 26 they will probably fill the stadiums and support the team again, this is beautiful

Heh, life is rigged, friend. You can get predictable league results and cup competitions like last season in England in UCL, and still lose money overall. Then you can get Brazil out of COPA early and Spain through to the EURO finals and still be left without winning tickets.

I wanted to go with Colombia after I saw what they did in previous matches but I switched it later to 1:1 draw.
I think there is no extra time in Copa America and I didnt know about that, they go directly to penalties.

I was shocked when I saw videos. There is no reason to blame Nunez here as he was just defending his family, very poor level of security which let such thing to happen.

Finally, I got two of my picks right, 6 points in the last two semi-final games
I got Argentina 2x0 Canada and Colombia 1x0 Uruguay

I'm 2.5 points off 3rd place, and my ultimate goal was to finish in the top 3
My prediction is that if I get one game right (3 points) and one result right (1.5 points) I can finish in 3rd place with 36 points

Regarding yesterday's game, although I admire the great willpower and determination that the Uruguayans have when playing for the national team, I think it's extremely unnecessary to provoke other players as happened in yesterday's game, it often works, but yesterday Colombia played very well and got a VERY good result with 1 player down for 1 whole half Shocked

About the final one comment, i dont know what can really happen, because Argentina is in low level right now and Colombia as his best, but Colombia players tends to be very relaxed always and in this games that cant happen.

When I first read the headline, I was actually shaking my head at him inside. But when I understood the whole thing later, then hell, yeah he was doing what any father would do. Quite a shame on Concacaf and US to actually allow this. They knew the crowd, they knew Colombia had a big base of supporters, how do you even allow something like that to happen?

My Uruguay is out, and so ends my hopes and dreams of recovering this season.
