Not really sure what's wrong with this USA team when they have some really good names. Game with weak Bolivia didn't impressed and now loss to another underdog Panama. I didn't bet on USA win as odds were way too low, but I had included it to parlay with Uruguay.
Now their situation is complicated, but not impossible. They're playing with Uruguay who is already in confident situation. But if USA will not win this, everything is in hands of Panama.

Yeah but both of us knows very well the fact that Bolivia in soil and without his altitude in La Paz is the worst team by far of all the competition. Bolivia really needs to start to develop something new on his football and stop being only strong in his 5000+ meters above the sea stadium by a natural handicap.

As well as losing my choice in the pool, I also lost a bet in the United States victory
I thought it was a relatively easy bet since the US team is good, but now it's going to be very difficult to qualify, with Uruguay as the opponent and Panama facing Bolivia

Man! what the hell just happen yesterday!, the best USA team in history (in names) lose against one well know team for them like Panama and put all his chance of going into the next round at super risk, USa depends 100% on how much Uruguay wants them out of the competition, because Uruguay can easily beat USA and bring the out of the competition.

Uruguay under Bielsa management is doing a super job, they start to play like he wants and that is super fast and offensive football. Yeah about BSFL the win of Panama destroy 90% of predictions.

The pre-match talks were actually in line with expectations and would have materialized if not of the 18th minute red card received by Timothy Weah, in that reckless strike he gave to Roderick Miller, the Panama defender, in the back of his head. Despite the loss tonight, US is still in second position by goal difference but I have the feeling that they may not advance to the next stage because their next match is against Uruguay, who they may not easily defeat, meanwhile Panama will comfortably collect the 3 points when they confront Bolivia.

Did anyone see that coming? US pre-match talk was all about being strong, and not lying down to take Panama. And then they go and lose. You BSFL guys should have seen it coming and gone for 6 or less. USA the clear vulnerable team out there and still, I picked them to win. Ha!

Uruguay look comfortable, and the most free-scoring team even from qualifiers. I'm really liking them! Darwiiiiin!

First few rounds of Copa America was much harder to predict than I expected, lot of surprise results and I dont know what is happening with Brazil but they couldnt score a goal in the first match.
Odds are showing Argentina as biggest favorite with Brazil and Uruguay, but I think we could see big surprise this year.

Yesterday when i was seeing the highlights of the game between Mexico and Venezuela in tv i was sure i had put a win for Venezuela, but when today i check my results i see it was not that, and i went with a 1-1. Well again i dont trust Venezuela in the way i ahve to do.

Though, EPL looks strong as always, while La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga number of participants is stable every year.

Yesterday again Argentina strugle so much to score against Chile, easily it can be done 3 goals for Argentina, but seems like the gunpowder is a little wet until now.

Well about the Peru Canada, Peru is not longer the PEru that it was when Gareca manage them, and they are coming back to his worst form which is a shit form like they have since the 2005 until Gareca arrives.

About mosalah.... well we all know his dirty tactis hahahaha, we know him very well and he laways go with lower goals results, and for him works pretty well i ahve to say, in several pools he is always fighting for paid positions.

I'm quite surprised at how bad I am at getting the results right (and in sports betting I have a good percentage).

I bet on a draw between Peru and Canada and I lost a lot of points on that match, I bet on 1x1 and I was surprised by the Canadian victory, since Peru is a team that is used to facing strong teams in CONMEBOL, and theoretically it would be difficult to lose to Canada

Today there are 2 more matches that I consider difficult to get right, Ecuador vs Jamaica and Mexico vs Venezuela.

Hmm yes, I saw this problem in La Liga and Serie A but I kinda think the problem is deeper.

Why I say this? Look at the La Liga and Copa discussion threads, megaspammers especially from certain signatures. Lol ok I don't need to be indirect, Stake spammers especially. If you look there, every day guaranteed 20 posts from these users.

But in the paid pools, nada.

If you make more interaction, like BSFL, or even look at Champions League pool. You get more users, but they are not anyway the spammers since they are only interested in making posts, and they know if they spam the 'good' threads they get deleted.

But the worst thing is if I go in, and new users go in, all we see on first page of forum is the spam threads. That's why I didn't even know about Copa pool until I saw @darxiaomi tell it. So I missed it because buried under the spam threads. So something needs to be done about those.

I thought I was taking a risk with 2-0 scores for Canada and Argentina.

I think that's the undelrying reason people don't sign up (as much) for sure. I do look back, though, and remember that EPL is always popular, while other comps on Superbru fall by the wayside. Same format, different retention. Some Superbru pools I've seen are strong after many years, even growing.

The difference -- and I haven't put this to a scientific testing haha -- I believe is the interaction. The pools that are still active on Superbru are actively discussing wherever their home is. And here on the forum, EPL also attracts and retains a fairly large active community in English.

When there aren't many active viewers, there's less discussion, then that pool struggles.

So that's me in a roundabout way saying you're 100% right. Except for EPL (and perhaps Champions League), it has to be more than blind predictions to encourage forum discussion. But I think for comps like Copa, it is a good start. Someone has to plant the seeds -- then who knows, what's next?

I know the reality is also in the sponsorship. There are many who'll play just for the +EV and that's completely acceptable, even encouraged. But it's a symbiosis most people don't fully understand yet. Sponsors want value, and they get that with an active thread that's always visible. EPL will probably always survive and even thrive, even if it's on a shitty Superbru format forever, even if no one really manages it other than to administer and host. But everything else needs a bit of active intervention I think =)

Well in this kind of competitions where you have a few strong teams and a few weaks one, is allways in that matches were the diference is made. In the ones were is pretty dificult to know how is gonna win.

Yea, this is the reason why people mostly don't sign up for the Superbru stuff anymore and why the companies don't want to sponsor it.
Doesn't really create any hype, it's just blind luck in putting in predictions.

This makes me follow Copa at least a little bit, so it's still a plus in my book.

I wake up early this morning, there was about 20 minutes of game remaining and when I saw 0:0 score on Superbru, I thought it's just another Superbru error. But didn't got burned by this game much as odds for Brazil was too low, same about goals over. While everyone was wrong with their predictions on Superbru, so, didn't lost anything. Additionally, got exact score from Colombia - Paraguay.
