#2) This was a group buy with Xilinx supplying the products. The delay in shipping was due to component acquisition problems on Xilinx's end.
---Don't shift blame. You should have had a back-up plan. Own your mistakes.
...
---I did buy the Xilinx product you offered. I mine with GPU's for a living. Sold a lot of GPU's to get this product in August. Now sitting on my hands, wondering if you are going to
pay my lost wages after 8/31? Whitefire advertised $20-$50 per day...
Rest of your points aside, seems like you want them to own their mistakes AND yours. "You should have a back up plan". Whether or not they broke the law or plan to break it, if this is your living and you took a huge risk by buying a bunch of hardware from a bunch of anonymous people online? If you were to get scammed, the legal responsibility is their's OF COURSE, but not your loss of income; they didn't tell you to sell part of your income to buy their product. That was the risk you chose to take, and if you don't have a back up plan that's on you, not them, just like if they don't make delivery or refund people in the legally defined reasonable amount of time, that's on them.
(Not defending or attacking either you or them, just pointing out a flaw in logic)
Makes a lot more sense for his FUD and “senseless” anger (pun intended). I can see why he is pissed off and angry. He is a miner and makes his living off of mining and at the current market in the crypto space probably either running at a loss or barely profiting so he is salty either way. Saw this “BCU1525” as the answer to his woes like a lot of other miners including myself, but didn’t have a backup plan in case something like this was inevitably was going to happen since this is a first time for everyone including the good people at SQRL LABS and Mineority (thanks you guys!). You really should heed your own advice and “own up to your own mistakes” in 1. Buying said equipment from a company you hardly know or think they are doing unethical or deceiving practices like taking crypto for payment and not forwarding Xilinx payment (man’s got great imagination) 2. Nobody has pity or sympathy for you having to sell gpu’s to buy or afford the fpga’s. Shouldn’t be risking or selling off equipment you use to make a living if you couldn’t afford to be without it for said unknown amount of time. You knew the risks and you took them anyways. I don’t believe SQRL or Mineority or anyone for that matter FORCED or THREATENED you in anyway to buy their products (hopefully Dave @SQRL didn’t send like evil squirrels and threatened to take your nuts or acorns, lol) besides the point. In your own words “OWN YOUR MISTAKE, DON’T BLAME SHIFT”, and most importantly TAKE IT ON THE CHIN LIKE A REAL MAN, myself and several hundreds of other people just like you probably knew better and “had a backup plan” like you mentioned in case something like this would happen.
Sorry for the rant guys, I just hate how people like this feel they are the only ones in this situation and nobody else is being affected from this but themselves, but as civil and supporting community members in the space we appreciate the overall bigger picture SQRL LABS and other affiliated parties are bringing to the space that they didn’t have to, no thanks to assholes like COINKING7 and other trolls!
