Yes alternative coins or also known by many as altcoins can do really have a future. Because as we can see, just like what is happening on bitcoin, altcoins also undergo on a certain phenomenon where price values pumps and dumps. Since here all the coins are playing a important role for the trading purpose but not all of them have good future because the future of the coins are depends upon the technology at which the coin is operating and also marketing is a big thing in this field .
