Does humanity really have a future? That's a deeply philosophical question indeed!
Now only units of ALTs bear real innovation in the market. Most are simply designed to drive investors money. Of course in this state they do not have a global future.
There are many promising projects, both on the etherium platform and on waves, which eventually apply their own blockade, their platform, to the consciousness of decentralizing the product to other projects
there ara almost 2 thousand altcoin listed and more waiting to list. There is no doubt many of these coins don't have future more than 2 or 3 years but that doesn't mean every coin is sentenced to die. of course there are really good projects have future and we are looking for them to invest.

Just like bitcoin altcoins will have future but not all of them so we have to chose the right coin to invest and make sure that its going to give us fortune in the future. In order to determine if a coin is good you have to see if the project is good and the team should be solid. If you can spot that the. For sure your invest is going to skyrocket.
The answer to that question is no doubt yes. Many alt-coins have other functions beyond being a medium of exchange. In this case, if you truly believe that blockchain has the potential to change more than just payment, you begin to see the value in alt-coins.
Of course, altcoins have a serious potential for growth, I think that it is with the help of altcoins that we will be able to earn very much, although of course if ethereum will continue to fall, then it will be possible to buy ethereum at such a cheap price.

I agree, but not all of them have a future, it will be depends on the team if they are going to continue to develop their coin, that way the progress of that certain coin would continue to go up and many investors would buy it if they knew that it have the capability to pump even more, we all love profits. The only reason why a certain coin didn't go anywhere is because the developer or the team decided to give up since no one is buying their coin.

In future after accepting bitcoins by entire world, Governments would like to have more control on the system. We should wait for their decision whether they want bitcoin to be that major cryptocurrency or not

Yes, they have a future, but not all. There is a future for crypto-currency with its own blockchain and original idea. The rest (according to forecasts, up to 90% of those that are at the moment) will disappear from the market.

Now the bitcoin is on the verge of its red, I do hope that ethereum has the best to replace it. Ethereum is now being widely-known alt coin. But if the bitcoin resolves its problem about its transaction fee. I don’t think that people will use ethereum or other alt coins.
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

Altcoin is being a fugitive of many coin lovers. and it can be said Altcoin is on the rise, and this makes Altcoin holders happy. because of increasing Altcoin enthusiasts, the higher the price of coins. Some altcoins do have a great perspective. As a rule, these are those that offer new ideas and wide possibilities of application. Although many will be nothing but coins with the best idea and the team will remain
Altcoins can be said to have future than even bitcoins because , altcoins are mostly tokens and most are based on services and products which sought funding through ICO to implement the project. And is like a traditional stock, as long as the company is available , the stock is still valuable.
Most coins can be considered shitcoins but there are some with actual real world purposes such as Siacoin with it's cloud functionality.
