Altcoins got future , but not all, i think many of altcoins will die in this year, because they haven't product and got only idea.
Yes the future is on altcoins , especially those that are having a real project behind the back, not scams and useless coins.
Yes I believe every coin has a future. Because bitcoin the king of digital currencies is on and doing. Since all other coins are linked to it. Altcoins has a future.
Every coin I think has good potential if its dev gives meaning to investor.
So too with alcoin, I think there is a lot of future for it. but depending on a certain coin, of course there are those who do not have the same forefront. it is due to the absence of the organizer company and does not attract investors.

So far the altcoins are very nice. Especially for ethereum. Certainly altcoins have the potential to be used continuously. And also altcoins have the potential to experience good increases in the future. So I believe that altcoins have a future especially on ethereum.
most likely the etherium due to its protocol will give a good way for many altcoins And therefore this state of things is more profitable in the market. I think that the best investment for today is the etherium.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.
I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

in my personal opinion yes they do have a future. Especially coins like ethereum, cardano and eos
I believe some altcoins have a solid future - I've read amazing altcoins ideas on paper 
if they hold true to their ideas, some altcoins will be bitcoin competitors.
Like nowadays etherum? For me this is the first oponent for bitcoin and it will show his power in near month in my opinion! Etherum could be even first in some years if they hold true to their ideas, some altcoins will be bitcoin competitors.
Actually i am not sure about bitcoin it s so unnecessary,it has got no purpose.Specially waves and 0x(first come to my mind) are faster and more usable than Bitcoin but it s main coin so i respect it.

I think that bitkoyn for a long time will be the only currency that will be freely exchanged for goods and services. Alternative currencies will be used for speculation and payments within own ecosystem. Maybe someday there will be a few more coins that will have a similar power. But I think it's not the time yet.
I will not talk about traditional altcoins, but the tokens of some projects have a great future. For example, the VLB project, which interests me very much. The VLB team is working to attract companies from the automotive industry of different countries. They have very high growth potential. They have a popular idea, and that means a big demand for tokens.
There are lot of reasons why VLB is considered as a great project, such as (beside from your reasons) :
1. Great founder which has 2 working companies in car related industry (CarFix and CarPrice)
2. Great team, their blockchain made by working together with IBM and QBT
3. Realistic cap, only 4m usd for softcap and 12m usd for hardcap.
There my additional reasons why VLB can be a succesful utility token and to answer to your question, yes (some) altcoins really have a future.

Yes it has really have a future but not all altcoins have a good future some of it are belongs to a dump coin because the developer only looking a self interest to gather a huge profit, to avoid that kind of interest just checked the realiable social media to understand the capability of its coin and to be find out the trusted and a good future coin like top 50 altcoins in coinmarketcap.
Altcoin have big future. If you see as of now there's a lot of altcoin as of now the rice is very high like ethereum from 1 digit to 4 digit. For sure altcoin have a lot of uses because maube if bitcoin die there's an altcoin that become bitcoin and use it to transact to anywhere. You can get more profit if you invest to altcoin those people who bought alot of altcoin last few years ago are now happy because they will earn a lot of profit.
Man i don't know about any coin right now, I mean where regulation comes in and many coin that's declare security cannot exist it will be hard, can you imagine a lot of coin nowadays exist because of ICO and many of them will perish in the future.
In the long term investment decision altcoins is the best choice. Altcoins is cheap and best to buy and will surely grow in many altcoins in the future. The first 100 altcoins at CoinMarketCap list the best altcoins list for investing in altcoins.
Between top 100 altcoin in marketcap there are some of altcoin that its not good to buy so dont always use the grade as reference to buy or not.
Choose from top 100 then do also research or analysis that will support your interest to any altcoin.
