Bitcoin with a $20,000 price is really possible but the question is when and if that happens I don't think that selling your coin is necessary but anyway it's your coin and your decisions are only matter so goodluck.

What i can advise you is to hold it with patience, now is not a good time to sell anything in the market because of the bearish stage. If you really wanna gain your loss. Wait for it till it recovers and set a good price that will satisfy your greed. I believe this will last till the ghost month end, What ever you are thinking right now clear your mind and be positive because i believe BTC will set it's comeback soon together with that all alternative coins out there.

If your altcoins have potentials to be on a high price, try to wait more time. Every move that you will do will have risks. If you sell all of your altcoins and transfer to bitcoin, and your altcoins that you sold have a higher price, you will regret that you sell it on a lower price. I have my altcoins sent to bitcoin too due to the increase that certain date and is now waiting for bitcoin to rise again. I know it will but it could have been better if I am also profiting now with altcoins using those sold one

I definitely would not be selling my alts in the bear market season, even if there is a little bull happening right now, that is not enough to convince me to start selling. I would keep them holding until I can get a good calculation in profits once we can make it to the right bull season.

I think BTC is going to reach 20K in 3 months, but it does not necessarily mean that you need to sell all your altcoin positions and wait for your BTC to rise in value. The move you should take depends on what altcoins you are holding. If you are holding platform coins, such as ETH, NEO, and ArcBlock (A blockchain 3.0 project undergoing ICO with an opening whitelist), you are definitely fine. Roll Eyes

I am holding my Alts and I have a good confidence that they will grow for sure. At this time most of them are down because bitcoin is not stable at this time and it is also effecting Alts but when bitcoin gets stable and start to grow again I am sure Altcoins will also grow with that and can give good profit. I will recommend you to hold and wait for the market to get stable before selling it's not worth to sell in the loss.

right now if your alt is in profit or equal to investment then better to sell it and hold fiat to buy all coins in dip . many people are saying that bitcoin will break the support of $5000 , if it happens altcoins will be cheaper than never before . at that time buy those from same fiat .

Do not sell your altcoins if you are in a loss. If bitcoin reaches 20k then your bitcoin count will also increase with the altcoin increases, so hold what you got.

I think you are the one who can answer that because it depends on what you believe in and what you are aiming for. If you are not after for a long term investment and you need a money right now or you feel that the altcoin is not good to hold, then it's your call if you would like to sell them all.
But for me, I am not going to sell them all. I will choose what to hold and if I sell a certain coin, I am going to leave 20% of my total holdings.

It's depending to what you hold but as of now I suggest to hold it for now because the crypto market is on down trend. If you sell it now you can't get nothing wait gain hour profit before sell it.

I think you don't need to sell your alts and all you need to do is to be patient and wait for the right time for cryptocurrency market to recover because theres really a big chance once crypto market will be regulated soon.
