If these are good coins, then do not advise them to sell. Usually the price grows faster for these coins than for btc.
I do not think that you need to sell your coins right now , but if possible you can for sure buy more BITCOINS. Because market ir rising right now so you will surely earn a great profit in future.

Assuming that this thread is quite old, the only thing that i can say, is that bitcoin has not touched 20k, and it will not happen anytime soon, so all you can do is pray for some time until it happens, well, i do not think that it will happen during the next two years
I think you should consider the technology, project and progress of the altcoin you are holding. If you have read and understand their focus and goal regarding their project and you are confident that it will be a success. I think the answer to your question is, you should hold it. But, if you just bought the altcoin for the sake of swing trading, you can sell it and make a good profit and after that, hold bitcoin until it goes to the moon.

mungin for now has not got there seeing the market that tends to stagnate. I just hope that eth will continue to rise because many are holding this coin. Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?

it depends what altcoins you have. some altcoins can give multiple profits in a short time.
Will its up to you nobody command you or tell. As long you know what your doing and you didnt sell your token under the price you invest
Bitcoin is huge falling down in last 3 months that's why crypto market is going to continuously down.It will not be easy to recover.I think BTC will be reached 20K in middle of this 2018.Although many crypto expert predict in this year 2018 BTC will be reached 50 thousand to million of dollars.But my prediction is something different.I think BTC will be touched more than 40,000$-50,000$ in this year.It's not good time for sell anything.
This will not good option to sell all Altcoins and buy Bitcoins. Because when market recover all the crypto currency will recover. So you may sell some altcoins and buy Bitcoin, But keep both Bitcoin and altcoins to get full benefit of market fluctuation.
You can buy some Bitcoin.Selling all of your altcoins does not make sense because with their help you can earn much more.While bitcoin does x2, some alt can do much more.
I recommend to buy ethreum while it is low price yet. And do not sell all of your altcoins since some of it will ride to the pump of the ethereum depending on the altcoin if its platform is ethereum. But it is better to divide your digital assets to different forms to prevent a huge disappointment if you one and only investment would crash in some time in the future.
Hold your alts for now especially if you're at loss. As much as possible, do not sell at a loss. Try installing the blockfolio or delta app and set an alarm on BTC's price movement if you don't want to miss out.

I prefer to hold some alts, i will not sell all my alts because i believe that there are good alts that have a better future and there is a great possibility that it will follow the BTC's successful journey.
I agree the good part in alts is that they could easily x10 your money in just short period of time however it has more risk compare to bitcoin since this kind of coins could be easily manipulated , be very careful and smart when investing on altcoin there was a lot of money in there I assure you Jump to:
