It's a great way to earn some BTC little by little if you are not interested in converting hard earned fiat money. 0.01 BTC maybe it's not a lot now, but if you are in the for the long run like many of us it can be proved to be very valuable.
Of course, this doesn't apply for faucets since the profit there can't really be compared. I don't think that's worth the effort or time.

The problem is the pay. I don't want to do the work since it's so little money. Add on the fact that it's boring makes it only worse.

Paid tasks are so much effort for so little tips, eg p2c is quite slow and monotonous.

That is a thing, nobody gets paid a lot for doing these kind of things! What you get is pretty much only a bitcoin dust! Too much work for nothing!
it's fun when there is a pay, I do crowdflower tasks and they are relatively fun and would be even better IMO if the payment is in BTC.
I tried some tasks at coinworker which involved checking articles and Authors but found a number of the links were broken. It then told me my accuracy wasn't good enough as a result which made it a bit waste of time. I usually enjoy doing small tasks for money.
