Probably, depends how much they get paid for it. Surveys used to pay 4-5€/ completion, now they pay a few cents, so it is really a different market now.

I`m not sure to what extent they like it, but I suppose its better than 0.

Yes, I am not sure how much anybody enjoys this, newbie or not. Rates are really, really low and this seems to me more like time wasting then anything else.

I guess that people who have no regular income and that can't afford to buy any bitcoins from the salary they are getting are the majority of the people that are doing these kind of tasks.

Not necessarly, but maybe they dont have bank accounts.

It is really hard to buy bitcoin without a bank account, and not all people are banked.

You could always do cash in mail transfers with someone who lives in your country; just because you don't have a bank account doesn't mean much. Plus, that's no real excuse for wasting hours for a couple bucks (max). If you really had money to buy bitcoins with, you'd know what kind of a waste of time faucets would be.

Not really ,I wont do the task if I am getting 100$ at the end of the week ..and spend more than 40 hours too .
time does matters here ,an hour a day would do great for such offers.

So i think this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--985550 will fit for you, for who want to earn without spending all day just get a low profit.

As part of the research I'm undertaking for my soon-to-be launched faucet, I'd like to know:

Do you regularly visit PTC sites or task sites which pay out in Bitcoin?

Message me if you want some simple tasks to do!

When I was a newbie back in the day and visited faucets it was more to learn about bitcoin related services, so ads were neat or if I enjoyed it, such as watching videos/music in exchange for rewards
Bitcoinget would be an example of that model
So an interactive element would be good such as viewing videos, giving opinions etc.

I am interested in doing tasks for bitcoins in exchange. Usually PTC sites have offers like surveys (5-30 mins), video tasks, business card tasks or data entry tasks and the pay ranges from 0.0003 BTC to 0.001 BTC. I am interested in tasks that can be completed without any investment.

Can i suggest you a website? You will get reward completing surveys, earnhoney, you can get the payment in amazon gift card or directly in your paypal.

Yeah let me know that site's name and if I am not a member of the site, I can join as your referral. I am already a member of sites like get-paid.com that pays for tasks and you get the money in BTC/PP.

I already mentioned it, it's earnhoney dot com, enjoy and please let me know how it goes Smiley

There are some bitcoin task out there, for example: cointasker, coinworker, coinbucks and ect.
They rate is average for site which offer some money just doing a small task.

If you want I can suggest you a wonderful game (at least this way is for me) with which you can play and can earn satoshi. No maximal limit to earn. More go high in game more can be earned. For example i win every day about 90 000 satoshi (but this my preference because the maximum is higher). I want to go higher and higher to earn more and more. So part of satoshi go to my wallet and part to go high in game. If you are interested pm me to send you the link. No need for investment.

Let me know too, i'm interesting with bitcoin game.

I think the concept of a single satoshi confuses a lot of people new to bitcoin, and thus why these tasks, faucets, and other sites get away with paying so little.

For one, most people are not comfortable with decimal places, especially with the 8 that bitcoin uses. Most currencies use 2 decimal places, for instance in the US $0.01 for one penny, the smallest physical coin you can posses. Some places, such as gas stations, may advertise a price in tenths of a cent, or go to three decimals for example a gallon of gas may be priced at $2.499, but that is the extent of everyday pricing for most people.

So when someone sees a faucets that pays 20,000 satoshi daily, it sounds like a lot. Even a "good", using the term loosely, faucet such as moonbitcoin, you may earn a 120,000 satoshi a week payout if you are dedicated. To many this sounds like a ton of bitcoin. In reality it is only a few cents.

It may be helpful for people new to bitcoin to visualize a chart of various satoshi values, represented in USD:

1 satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC =   $0.00000236
10 satoshis = 0.0000001 BTC =  $0.0000236
100 satoshis = 0.000001 BTC =  $0.000236
1000 satoshis = 0.00001 BTC =  $0.00236
10,000 satoshis = 0.0001 BTC = $0.0236 (finally broke the penny mark)
100,000 satoshis = 0.001 BTC = $0.236
1,000,000 satoshis = 0.01 BTC = $2.36
10,000,000 satoshis = 0.1 BTC = $23.60
100,000,000 satoshis = 1 BTC = $236.00

So as you can see, at today's exchange rate it takes roughly 10,000 satoshis to break 2 cents, or 5,000 for even one cent. Even using the moon bitcoin faucet which, spending a lot of time each day claiming you only earn around 20-30 cents a week. As far as paid tasks, you can look at the chart and determine if it is worth your time or not.

A 10 minute survey may be worth 0.005 BTC, or an impressive sounding 500,000 satoshis (about a dollar) to some, but any less is probably not worth it.

Ad maiora!
if it was fun they wouldn't call it work. i suppose one could enjoy it, but really, there are always other things I'd rather be doing.

if you are talking about faucets... theyre just a waste of time. whats to enjoy about entering captchas for 2 cents a week?

i do kinda like playing sarutobi though.

I was trying to experiment with paid tasks a while ago, and investing in (advertising) referrals to various paid task sites, but with small luck.

I dont think the GPT, PTC industry is fully developed in BITCOIN, most PTC sites are still heavily dependent on adsense and whatnot. So it can mostly work in bitcoin.

For there to be a better GPT/PTC programs, there need to be more bitcoin based advertiser networks.
