Greedy will bring harm. Many people are waiting to get profits up to 90%, but they must be disappointed when bitcoin suddenly drops dramatically. So I agree with what you say, and I make a strategy like the one you made.
Greed can really ruin your capital. I use clear money and risk management strategy to prevent the catastrophy. This is what I do every time before buying or selling (when trading with margin)

Yes don't become a greedy in this market because there are a lot of opportunity can be loss if we are always hoping to earn more. Be satisfied on what we are already earn in everytime because there is a time for us to earn a huge profit and be patience that can help us to reach it. 
Being greedy will not lead you to be wealthy or heaving more income in investment, we should need to have more patience to wait since we are at the crypto world that no stable value of every coins the possibility to increase and decrease its value is always there sell your coin at the right time, right timing is the tool to earn profit in our investment.

Nice idea you have there. 20% profit is not bad at all at least the invested money has grown. Now if you want to have a better profit, doing it over time is a good option to do and holding will give more than 20% profit if you are patient enough to wait it grow.
I agree with your opinion at first when I start trading I want to make huge profit I don't sell my coin low profit but later market down I lost my coin so more greedy isn't good .
Such situation occurring is not just all about greed, it is about not having a plan before you even start trading. There are some conditions in the market that if known, you will be able to make quality decisions in the market without any stress at all or the point of being greedy or not being greedy. Knowing when to sell is as important as knowing when to buy, unless you are just very sure the trend is changing, or a reversal signal, then you will just be picking or dropping market at any point you feel like.

When I started investing in this market, I set a target x2 x3 and only sold it when it hit the target. Then the result was not what I expected to lose more than 70% because I was still patient and hoping that the price would go up and I would sell it later. But it never went up and I was losing by greed.Now I invest in a modest and conservative way. I will sell all when I make a profit of 5-15% and cut loss when the loss of 15%. This method is not sure to help me succeed in trading but it limits a lot of risk for me
Profit taking should be a tradition for crypto traders but most times waiting for huge profit could be dangerous, the market may reverse to below your buy price, the 20% could be possible in a bull market but you can hardly get up to 5% in a bear market, the strategies should differ
Yes, you are right here. The crypto market is not understood properly. I sold PPP coin in the loss for their bad market policy, today the price 132% up! But it can be -132%! So, everyone should not be greedy, no one knows what will happen, in this bear market, 20% profit is enough I think. But most of the people want to make a high profit even in this bad situation and they lose their investment most of the time.

Yeah, In that way, we can avoid of lossing our profits because usually some tokens will Increase so much but when It comes to drop Its value it is really hard to came back again Its usual price or even near to Its ICO price.
actually not greedy if we only try to take the opportunity to get profit and it is better to immediately take profit even if only a little because we do not know what happens next

Yeah, that's why entry and exit strategy is very important. I wouldn't say that being greedy is bad, but sometimes any one should know when to stop and claim their reward. I've seen a lot of members complaining and regretting for now selling early and waiting for the price to still go up but then they are all caught off guard when the price suddenly dumps. Perhaps, we should be like "controlled-greediness", if there's such a thing.

I agree. Being greedy will make you never grateful. I have a friend who have a lot of profit in her altcoin but she's waiting for more profit but sad to say that the price of the coin she has falling down and she ended up to lose her money because of being greedy to have more profit.

That is an advice that only traders can follow, in this forum there are many long term holders and believe me they are not going to settle with 20% gains or even 95% gains there are looking for huge gains, in my opinion that is not being greedy because if you see how the market moves you can see that this kind of behavior happens quite frequently in this market.In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. I must say that your principle about making little in every day from trading and accumulating it over a period of time has been very helpful to me ever since i read this thread. I have been greedy over the past period and it really has not paid enough. Now, i am going to use this tactic to earn some money each day.
