Honestly, is hard to boldly talk about bitcoin to friends or others. Instead, i prefer to use the phrase "virtual currency"
Those who are interested might ask me about the name.

Secondly, considering how fearful and cool-hearted people becomes whenever they overheard the word "internet biz or investment'. It will take alot of effort and commitment to convince somebody.

So my formula is to keep telling them about the conveniences, the freedom, benefit that is associated with this virtual currency.

Before investing in crypto currency you must devote a lot of time to acquire knowledge, it's proper to focus on learning before you think of earning from it. Although Bitcoin investment doesn't require much learning process, this doesn't mean you shouldn't do some research about it first. Instead of pressuring people to invest in Bitcoin tell them about the importance and value of it, you can also show them how much benefit you have gotten from it. Persuading people to make any form of investment isn't really advisable, especially if they are newbies. After hodling for a period of time and it's goes through a big dip, they can blame you for the losses they are incurring.
You can actually tell them how Bitcoin investment works it is left for them to choose if they will invest or not, explain to them how volatile this Bitcoin is in nature so they won't panic or try to put blames on you when the price of Bitcoin start dropping.

And there is also no need trying to acquire all knowledge about Bitcoin before investing into Bitcoin but with your basic knowledge about Bitcoin you can get started along the line you can figure out other things about Bitcoin investment when you are already on it. Because trying to wait to get all knowledge about Bitcoin investment may lead to procastination and that is how more market opportunities is passing one bye and I don't still think it is possible to know all about Bitcoin investment.

I agree with you; it is not right to force anyone into investing anything the person doesn't believe in because if anything bad happens in the end, you will be held responsible for it, and if you aren't even careful, you might be in a big problem, which can make you refund the person his initial capital he used to start up the investment. Since bitcoin investment is a long-term investment, we should be careful how we tell people about it so that even though they accept to invest in bitcoin at their own will, they will not need to sell their properties or use the money that's meant to solve their daily expenses in their lives to invest in bitcoin with the hope that they will be rich in the near future. If you must bring anyone to invest in bitcoin, tell the person that bitcoin investment is a long-term investment like 4-10 years or more, and he or she needs to use the money that he or she will not be needing for like 4-10 years or more so that he or she will not have high expectations from his bitcoin investment and he or she will also get a clearer picture of how bitcoin investment works.

I decided to bring this information to our notice here because of a particular event that happened today that I was opportuned to witness. I understand that we all that have been around the forum where discussions and informations about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are made have taken the opportunity to invest and some of us if not all have benefited from our investments and it has positively affected our thinking because we now see the investment as something we can not do without. Even as we encourage some of our brethren to invest, we shouldn't made it mandatory as if they will have no other opportunities in life to become rich if they do not invest in cryptocurrency. Back to what I witnessed today which led to this information, a guy was busy blasting his friend in public for not investing in Bitcoin when the price was below 40k on hearing them from afar, I came closer to really understand why he was so angry with his friend I overheard him saying that he can no longer be taking care of him because he refused to invest when he asked him to. There are some people who may never be interested in investing in Bitcoin even when they see the need to invest I think the best thing is to ignore them instead of putting so much pressure on them for them to invest. It is not every one that understands the meaning of investing for the future I think anyone who's interested in Bitcoin investments won't waste time to invest regardless of the current economic situation.
I get the point you are making as it's not everyone that has thesame mindset and think the way you do because when it comes to investment people are very careful and protective of their hard earned money to be given out to something they don't know or understand fully about do if you tell someone about investment relating to crypto especially Bitcoin and they don't show interest in it we should not force them as there are allot of factors that they are considering because most of them may not be fully aware of the benefits in investing in Bitcoin

Very correct. Most people make the mistake of putting pressure on others while trying to persuade them into investing in bitcoin. We are Nigerians and many people have fallen victims of Ponzi scams and others, so bitcoin at first might sound like one to them especially when you are putting pressure. Instead of persuading them, educate them about Bitcoin, let them know that it is an investment and will take time to yield. They should know that every investments have losses and gains, and while at it, should prepare for anything. Let people decide by themselves to invest in Bitcoin so that even though they have losses they won't blame anyone, and still won't be scared of reinvesting .
You can take a horse to the river but can't force it to drink water, likewise teaching people to invest in Bitcoin but not by force, when I learnt about Bitcoin and how profitable it was I had to kill the mentality of Bitcoin being the quickest way of one losing their money, so instead of putting pressure on people when they've got no plans of investing it's to enlighten then about it, teach them it benefits then allow them make the decision of investing on it by themselves.
The more one keeps mounting pressure on people to invest in Bitcoin, then it would look more suspicious and the efforts of teaching them about it becomes a waste, take for instance someone who's lost heavily on buying shitcoin then you start forcing them to buy Bitcoin, even if what you're telling them seems legit they'll have a second thought on investing and losing again so the best thing is to tell them the benefits of Bitcoin investment and why it's more better compared to buying shitcoin them allow them make their own decision.

It is very important,  I have come to know that those who were forced to learn bitcoin always fall for so many mistakes because this is not what they decide on their own. It is better to teach people about bitcoin but not to force them to go into bitcoin because doing this they can lose all their money because they have no knowledge about Bitcoin and if any thing that happens you will hold responsible for their lose.
Never you force anybody to learn BTC investment, if you want to experience joy through out your BTC investment because they will be thinking that you have something that you are using them to achieve from the BTC investment, but if they can come to you to learn BTC investment, I guess they will do everything possible to remain focus on the learning to make sure they have the ideal of the investment. There are some people in my family who are not willing to learn BTC investment despite the evidence I have shown to them to believe that BTC investment is real, but they don't want to believe me, and i will not focus them because if i do and anything happen to their BTC in their wallets, they will surely suspect me and many people will believe that am behind of the BTC.

I can still remember how my eldest brother introduced us to BTC investment, when we shared our late father properties some years ago and he never force us to learn BTC investment, he use one week to teach Us about the investment before he started guiding us to invest our money on BTC until we became perfect in the investment.

On point, just because you have interest in a particular thing doesn't mean that your family or friends may also be interested in it too, it is not everyone that is interested in bitcoin investment because they are afraid of loosing, you don't have to force someone to invest into bitcoin or you will be blame if everything go wrong. interest is the most important thing someone need to have before they engaged themselves in any activity, because if you are interested in investing into bitcoin you will not mind how risky it is, and if you don't have any interest in investing into it no matter how profitable it is, you will not mind, pressuring someone to do what he or she doesn't have interest in may cause misunderstanding between you two.

So, it a personal decision whether to invest or not. I don't like telling anyone to invest in Bitcoin
I knew that somebody introduced me to Bitcoin but I rather just tell people about Bitcoin instead of trying to force them to invest in Bitcoin because I noticed that trying to force people to invest in Bitcoin makes them feel like I have something to benefit from it whereas the person who introduced me to Bitcoin didn't have to speak so much about it because my interest was already high about getting wealthy, so it was easy for me to absorb the new information that has been introduced to me. Only new investors with a high interest in getting rich will be able to be easily convinced to invest in bitcoins.

What you said is absolutely right, making bitcoin investment mandatory to someone will be like as if you are the one that will be benefiting from it the most, and they will be thinking that if you are not going to benefit from it you won't  have insisted that they should invest in it. You can convince someone in an understanding way to invest into bitcoin, also explain everything to the person and clarify the advantages, the disadvantages, the losses it will cause him, and also the challenges it contain. encourage the person to do it for the sake of the future, because the profit that they made will be useful to them in future, but you cannot make it rid or die for the person. Because it is not everyone that had the mind to bear loss, they will be lamenting the lost and all the blams will be on you, and you will not have a chance to defend yourself because you forced them to do it.

Investing in crypto currency should be a personal decision not something you persuade someone to do, as a crypto trader you know the mental maturity you have built for a long time to make you withstand the pressures that comes with the market, not everyone can handle all that, persuading someone who isn't into crypto to invest in Bitcoin is not really advisable because whatever happens to the persons capital the blame will be on you. Someone who knows nothing about Bitcoin doesn't know that it should be a life time investment, but when it goes down they might start fidgeting and probably make the mistake of selling before it goes back up
Success attracts, that is what that can compel or attract people consider a particular investment a choice for people to invest not by pressure/force. Bitcoin has proven to be a successful choice of investment, so there for no need to pressure someone to invest in bitcoin rather it should be the other way round, investors will be attracted to it because of the benefits and success in it. Globally everyone is looking for the right venture to invest their funds on with the aim of making Good profits of which bitcoin offers such. As long as you have an income/earnings, you can invest with comfortable amount at your disposal using DCA method it's very simple and stressless. The rate at which investors in bitcoin is on the rise daily it's because of the benefits bitcoin offers  makings it choice of investment, people should capitalise/ take advantage of it out of their freewill  not by pressuring them.

Normally investment nah choice i don't think is good idea to force person to invest, because if eventually it not moving as they think the blame will be you wey force him to do so, what need to be do in that situation i think is motivation and  elaborate it for him how bitcoin work, that is only bitcoin you can invest and have rest of mind, bitcoin it different from any other altcoin,  there's no doubt that you can lose your capital, your capital is very secure and safe, motivation can be don like that, that's if he have interest to do, but don’t force him.

Infact they no dey force people to invest in any kind of business, you that have your money of you sit down think twice, if you know how you take get that money you will do the needful, most especially bitcoin nah long time investment you must be patient when you invest in bitcoin
so my brother they no dey force person to invest.

To force someone to do watin no dey dia mind no good at all not to talk more of say na online somethings wey plenty people they assume say anything wey concern online na scam because if anything comes happen alone the line they will definitely blame the person that forced them, the best thing to do is to tell them what we know about Bitcoin such that investing on it will be their own personal conviction and decision as not to blame anyone in the case of things not going according to plan. For sure Bitcoin investment is best on long term investment which majority may not be patient enough, hence we don't have to force anyone as to this regards.

It's actually a choice but some peoples conditions will just want to make you encourage them but majority of them will even take it as an offense for trying to help them if not this is very easy when people suggest things to you what do you do, you go home and have a brief of what this things is about and look out for reviews then you will be able to decide if what the person is trying to introduce you to is actually good or not, you will see that if things go this way nobody should blame you for anything but the moment you don't give them a break down and making them know the exact dangers and also making them get reviews from other place and allow them make the final decision and make them know that nobody will blame you for anything because you are not the market, this thing will safe you from a lot of drama because their people that will not want to take responsibility for their own action and which is very bad.

If you look at the entire market when bitcoin falls it is very easy for bitcoin to recover before any other altcoins and they might not even follow bitcoin in price during recovery, also safer to invest in, people will always want to make their own choice and look for who to blame for their own mistake. When it comes to when they say bitcoin is a long time business they will tell you they have heard, but give them months they start worrying about the price of bitcoin and when it going up forgetting they need to be patience and also be reminded that it is a long time business.

Bitcoin in Niger State💯
I have seen many people introduce Bitcoin to some of their friends and family but in the end, it ends up with a misunderstanding when the Bitcoin price goes down and the people see it like they have been scammed, it is very risky to introduce someone who doesn’t understand anything about cryptocurrency, we have to be careful with those who we are trying to help to introduce to Bitcoin.

Starting bitcoin investment generally is a gradual and intentional process. Many young people like our friends who are introduced to bitcoin have a mindset from which they view these cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin since most of them see it as a get-rich-quick platforms that they invest some little amount of money and take out humungos profits as a result but the truth is that's not the case.

They also need to be aware of the volatility of the market which contributes largely to the rise and fall or the uptrend and downtrend of the market. This is also what makes bitcoin different from the stable coins like USDT and the fiat currencies. So as much as they expect to make significant profits within a short time, they should have also have it in mind that they're likely to fail too. Unfortunately, many don't look through that side of the lense.

Let love lead
Whether it's going to be successful or not it shouldn't be a think of debate but we shouldn't compromise on working with the right investment ethics of  never forcing or trying hard to convince anybody to invest into any project even if it's not bitcoin.
When you over convince someone without letting the person making up their minds by themselves to invest in Bitcoin, you take the risk of taking every blame that comes with the result of the unpreparedness of that person to invest like panics during negative volatility, tampering with investments for short term gains, even holding you responsible for immediate depreciations in his investment if the price of Bitcoin experiences a dip.

You need to perfectly explain the Bitcoin volatility, investments patterns and accumulation methods to the new investor and allow him/her to develop the interest and as such be prepared to take responsibility for his investment decisions. It is also strictly advised against giving guarantees of any sort to new investors because Bitcoin activities is not controlled by you and it's uncertain what the next development would be.

Always make sure the new investor understands that he should invest with discretionary income and be ready to go in for a relatively long time, possibly 4 -10 or more years to get good profits from his investment.

True, forcing people into investment decisions gives them the opportunity of blaming you for their downturns and losses. A lot of people may never believe in Bitcoin and will never want to invest in it. One of the best ways of letting someone know how good something is, is your results most times, not your talk. That way, you're not at any risk in the end.

~~snip~~

You have said a nice thing because forcing someone to invest without his willingness is even a dangerous idea. Let's say when bitcoin was at $40k, the friend invested, and then bitcoin fell back to $20k. Didn’t you think that the other friend wouldn’t see that he lost his money as a result of his friend that forced him to invest? So, as you said, the decision that he took was so harsh.

He should have been forced on encouraging him and also showing him the possible this about bitcoin because anyone who knows how bitcoin works will definitely have the interest of investing, unless he has no money yet to do so. That is why I always see that educating someone about bitcoin and giving him the chance to choose whether to join or not is better than forcing him.

Bitcoin is what we should allow people to develop an interest in it organically since Bitcoin has been a controversial topic in our society with a lot of misconceptions, so to save yourself from being held responsible for others' losses when they buy Bitcoin at the wrong time, and you have to let them do the decision and discovery themselves, just keep accumulating and building your knowledge others will find their bearing if they are destined to discover bitcoin.

You have spoken well because I don't know the reason why some persons are just too concerned about bringing up people into an investment platform without calculating the risk analysis involved and in a case where it doesn't work the way they expected, how will they be able to face those people they brought into the system.

There is something people don't understand about cryptocurrency and that is the risk involved, even though Bitcoin have grown past being a scam project but this is a digital asset that haven't gain full adoption and moreover the government are not in full support of Bitcoin yet regardless of the fact that they are making moves for it's regulation so anything can happen along the line so if you must persuade someone to invest in Bitcoin let it be that they came by themselves instead of it to be that you instigated them to do so. Humans will always be humans in the sense that when you introduce them to invest in something and they are experiencing success in it but as soon as the table turns, they will start blaming you for luring them into investing on something that made them run into losses.

You are right. You cannot force someone to invest in bitcoin. If you want to introduce someone to bitcoin, you must tell him everything about it, both positive and negative, so that if he is interested, you can tell him what to do, but you cannot force someone to invest in it because you can control someone's mind at any time. And if you push someone to invest and then anything bad happens to his investment, he would blame you since you forced him to invest. Crypto is an easy thing to comprehend without stress, and you should just go and study how he works. It is not like trading, which requires time before you can gain from it. so is more advisable to try to teach your family member then introduce another person. you can't be forcing someone for what you do you need to be understanding something our life is different you can say what you are benefit he will work for another person.

That is why some people will be saying bitcoin is scam because some people don't know anything about bitcoin but see someone say you will be profitable and you invest at the wrong time and the price started dropping and when they lose their money or they are on loses, they will start to say scam and they will be telling people that didn't know anything about that scam, so it is good to keep your thing to yourself, if they ask you what is your source of income and you told them you are investor on crypto and if they are interested they will ask you more about it without forcing anyone on it.
