I only use the verified and authentic wallets like Myetherwallet, Metamask, blockchain etc as they are trusted and more secure than new unauthorized wallets. For funds always use the offline hard wallets as they are more secure and safe than an online wallet.

If I want to save BTC or ETH, I only use hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S that I have now. The reason is safer & complete control is in my hands.
Saving in exchange can be lost because it is hacked or the exchange is closed or run away. So secure your funds in a place that has been tested as a cold wallet. You will regret it when BTC goes to ATH.
Using a wallet that you can keep your full control is much better than trusting exchange that in anyhow can be hack, especially when you have a huge amount of assets, you need to invest with hardware wallets where you can save your assets. You need to be more furious in terms of saving your money there's a lot of hackers they can phish you up and empty your funds.

usually I keep the assets that I have only in the exchange, if I store assets in another wallet that I have never used then I only save a small nominal because I do not easily believe the wallet that just launched.

Of course new wallet is something new to start trusting its strongly recommended that you absolutely must not trust when putting all your funds at there ,not just a new wallet in my opinion but all new things we all need to be careful
Whenever there is something new in the market it is good that you examine for a short and proceed further. This too gets failed at times, because these days things looks more legitimate and impossible to find whether they are trying to scam the users.

One such happened for me, and till the last day never found it a trap. Everyone could've heard about bit.ac wallet. It ran signature campaign got the trust from the users. Later the wallet used to go offline for maintenance. This happened several times and one day it went offline for maintenance as the past. Everyone were waiting with patience for weeks. Finally everyone understood it as a trap. Around 10k people including me downloaded and used the wallet.

The same wallet I use ever since is a ledger wallet and it did not break my trust in this wallet. As mentioned above, it is true there are many wallets appeared with the same aims the same function. I never used and save coins in an exchange because of not protected. Better we should not easily trust the new wallet these days as there are many scam.

Now many old wallets have been trusted in this community and when there is something new I feel it is not necessarily appropriate. But indeed, it doesn't hurt for anyone who wants to try it attentively with the risks. I think it doesn't matter either. But when you are not ready with the risks that might occur, then why try something new that does not even have a reputation.
Thats the point, why try a new one that doesn't have a guaranteed reputation and security, while there are plenty of old wallets that still exist and have a guaranteed reputation and security? why risk your money to try something else. as long as the function is still the same to save bitcoin, why should it change wallet ? Honestly, if I am comfortable using 1 wallet and feel safe, I will not switch back and look for feedback about the new wallet I want to use, it wastes my time.

True, it's better to have 1 wallet but there is no problem compared to trying multiple wallets, Myetherwallet as a place for altcoin and Blockchain.info as bitcoin storage so for me I won't try another wallet if what I use is still okay.

OMG. When do these people understand the risks of holding the crypto holdings in the crypto exchanges?  The news services and crypto forums are full of security fraud complaints due to the tricky social media engineering, hack events by the scammers-hackers. The struggles are real and purchasing the hardware wallet is a feasible solution, in this case, the scammers know how to take the money out of people's pockets.
Purchasing a hardware wallet is not really a feasible solution if you got a limited money otherwise it's still worth it but it seems that people will never stop putting their money in the exchange for a long time because they think this is the most convenient way to save the money while in reality it's the best way to lose your money when the security breach happens.
All the news about exchange being hacked and can't provide reimbursement seems have gone to nothing because people are just too ignorant and careless to realize that it's their money that is at stake.

I strongly agree not to trust the new wallet too much, we must not be tempted directly by the new wallet because it gives an
attractive promo or give away. Because new wallet has not proven its security and credibility. Even if you want to use the new wallet
you should not immediately move all your coins, because if scam is not so great losses experienced. It's better to use  an old wallet
that already has a good reputation, so our coin is safe. The problem is that there are so many new wallets currently  in circulation,
we have to do an inspection careful if you really plan to change to a new wallet.

Yes, I prefer the old wallet so that a lot of new wallets appear in the play store, the wallet that already has confidence in crypto is still vulnerable to being hacked, now there are many modes of fraud in the crypto space, especially in phishing wallets, so don't trust too much in the new wallet have assets in it you painstakingly collect it is unfortunate if lost suddenly

same but i prefer hardware wallet because what they can do of you hold your own coins it is your own fault it is lost or what but on the end of the day you have your own wallet bringing them all the time and also gaining access anywhere anytime you want to buy or sell your coins in the waller
So far, that it. Hardware wallet as of now is reliable and a good bitcoin wallet and some altcoins. I would highly recommend going for those wallets that are already proven and tested and don't go for those new wallets that are not proven as tested because we don't know if that might be a scam. You might lose all your saving if that happen so just go for the proven and tested wallets. Electrum is the best as well.

i dont see any bad reason why not to try new wallet , besides you knew how to secured your crypto so for new wallet you should not stored all your balance there since its new it will be risky to do .

Trusting wallets from the playstore is a lot risky. Some of them are just phishing apps so we have to be careful. Trust only well reputable wallets to get rid of being scammed. I'm now using a hard wallet to make my earnings more secured. I find it safer, convenient and less hassle. Myetherwallet is also a trusted one. You better stick to top wallets.
Hard wallet is far safer than any free stuff from playstore always remember that it's your assets and you need to make sure that all the possible precautions before using or trying if you have some plans. free wallets always have the risk to consider, if you will going to store large amount of money best to use safe wallets that have a good reputations and many positive real reviews coming from end users.

Trust only trusted creators if I think trust wallet, myetherwallet, jaxx are best suited.
In general, it is best to buy yourself a ledger, this is the most reliable one on the market.
