The reason why i don't like new wallets
1. They always have low users which means they have nothing new to offer, even if new users try them out, once they don't see any thing new they bounce back to their old wallet, repetitive at work

2. Many new wallets on playstore can't be trusted, they have different set of aims, some have access to your private keys but they will fool users thinking you are the only one in control of the private keys and some don't  give out private keys to users, they work as online wallet

Indeed, we should use a wallet that is already widely used by many people and has a good reputation because it is related to the security of the funds we have. In my opinion, a good mobile wallet at this time is Trust Wallet, easy to use and has a good reputation

Using a wallet that is well known to many people makes us more comfortable than we store it in the wallet exchanger. Storing coins in an exchanger wallet is quite risky even though there are a number of exchangers that guarantee our funds and I think it is better to save coins in a wallet where we control our private key

There are some new wallets that has unique features, but I don't know if they really safe to use. Well it is better to use a trusted old wallet than a new one because some new wallets could be a malware so let's stay safe.

I do not easily accept new wallets and new offers. When someone offers a new offer, I try to find out the real reason for the offer. If i feel trustworthy when you are truly sure, then accept it or not. I never wished that my hard earned money was stolen.

Stop using the new wallets although I'm discouraging everybody so that the casualties and reports of being hacked or losing funds will be lessened. That's the solution to the growing number of users that are reporting about their lost funds.
They wouldn't care if the wallet is new as long as they have seen a wallet address, they don't have the time to research. Stay and use the old wallets, they are safe and have valid reasons why we should use them.

I agree with you to trust a new wallet that never used before for a transaction, which can be easily to loss a fund, but blockchain technology has made it easier and transparent to every users in the crypto community, for easier to identify type of wallet address for a particular coin, which acceptable.

Actually, con artists will consistently search for approaches to swindle naïve investors and they don't rest till they accomplish their point. Another fact is, most wallets on playstore are not to be trusted, regardless of whether one needs to download another wallet, I believe it's astute to check the venture's site to check whether there is any suggested wallet or soliciting the group from the undertaking being referred to see their proposals. We need to assume liability of the wellbeing of our assets and the most ideal approach to begin is by being astute. Besides, am happy trust wallet, engin and so forth are currently supporting numerous coins, we ought to consistently check them to check whether our ideal coins are supported

It is not recommended to put assets in a new wallet,
I still remember a few years ago there was a case where a wallet suddenly couldn't be opened,
The developer reason why the wallet can't be opened is because there is a problem with the system,
after investigation it turns out that the developer has stolen user assets and sent to other wallets without permission,
many old wallets now have good reputations, so just use it.

Agree with you mate. It's too much hard to trust those kinda wallet. They have low security to protect the fund. I think it's need to take some time to popular those new wallet. About playstore i think if you some how need to download wallet from there check first it's protected by google or not.

It is better to store your coins in old verified wallets than on exchanges. New wallets can also be used, but only on condition that they are open source and well tested by the community.
Keeping funds on exchanges is quite dangerous, especially if you are not actively using them.

There are loads and loads of fake wallets on playstore thus using any of them without appropriate recommendation is certainly the worst thing to do. No matter the funds we wish to store, we should endeavor to ask questions about the right wallet to use, if no perfect answer is found the ask here in this forum. Scammers keeps looking for ways to defraud gullible investors and we have to apply caution all the time. In all, no matter the wallet we wish to store our coins let's ensure to write down the private key, as it is our ticket to access the said wallet.

For a low users it is normally any project has few users in the beginning, but the issue is what about the trust, you hold your private key and control your token it is okay.
Yes when a project starts so it get very low number of users and then after sometime number of users can increase. But to store your coin we should find good wallet which could be trust worthy or which gives fair offers. To make your coins save you will have to keep your private key so safe so that no one can hack your wallet.

we really have to be careful with the new wallet platform, not only for our money but our personal data, most of which must also be requested by the developer. not just a wallet, but also note the new exchange, I really avoid things like that.

For me new wallet is not advisable because all we know that there is nothing impossible even the scam that are now the biggest issue and problem here in crypto world. So if you use new wallet there is no assurance that this is legit unlike to the trusted and proven wallet that we are using from the start. Think more before embracing new project or new product here in crypto world.

Hold your funds on exchanges and on MEW wallets, you do not need anything more. Coins can be stored on various exchanges and erc-20 based tokens can be stored on myetherwallets. If you want to get totally secured, buy yourself a ledger wallet.
I hope newbies won't listen to this bad idea of yours, holding coin on exchanges is the most stupid thing to do, exchanges can get hacked at any time or exchanges can stop working at anytime to which can result to losing funds

Trying new wallets are good, to give chance to others and they might be better.
But trusting them with your funds? not a good idea, you might try them but not with good fundings.
And why do we need to trust them for the funds we have if we are comfortable of the old ones.
I am not against the new ones but dont trust them that much. let them prove something first.

I have a friend that got hacked by storing some of his asset on a new wallet that can be downloaded on playstore. There are many trusted wallet out there so why take a risk on new wallets.
Almost all new people entering into crypto space don't do researches before making moves, you can't just go and download apps to store fund when you don't know how secured they are, listen and read reviews first,it might safe you lot of headache

Why would anyone need a new wallet if there are already a lot of good wallets on market?

If you have important amounts of money invested into crypto, just buy a hardware wallet (Ledger nano s,  Trezor  etc) and your funds will be safe.
