You are absolutely right. I also have not seen a single casino based on the blockchain.
However, I saw holding various raffles where various souvenirs, silver and gold coins were played.
I saw how participants make a fixed bet and choose one digit out of 16 (in hex format).
When all the numbers are occupied and the contributions are paid, the presenter calls the number of the bitcoin block that will be mined in a short time. The last digit of the hash of this block determines the winner. This method of conducting draws can be adopted by the casino.

No bitcoin casinos are not based on blockchain. Bitcoin as normal as others casino it's not depends on blockchain. Blockchain is the technology of cryptocurrency, it's basically work for crypto not casino. Blockchain is a technology of cryptocurrency it's not work for casino so bitcoin casinos are not based on blockchain.

There are games in which the number determines the blockchain, for example, chain-bet,com or winningbet,io it is an absolutely provable solution.

Yes, sundaylottery..org also uses only smart contract from A to Z though it is more a lottery at the moment.

But many casino games are difficult or impossible to implement completely on blockchain due to its limitations.

I think you are misunderstanding the concept of gambling at crypto casinos. They are not on the blockchain but the bets which happen on them are.
They are verified by seeds given for each bet. I learned this is how they validate each and every bet to be fair to the players.

So most people in this topic write that they don’t need blockchain to make bets. It is only needed to make payments to gambling sites and back.

Hello everyone!

Do the casinos where we can play with cryptocurrencies are all based on blockchain, so we can control every deal, or crypto is there only as a form of payment?
Not all of them, but i think there is a crypto casino that based on blockchain, i forgot the name.

Most crypto gambling site/casino is same like the fiat one and mostly not based on blockchain. I think only the payment/currency that they use, cryptocurrency which is based on blockchain.
There are multiple casinos based on blockchain and some of them are Stake, Edgeless or True Flip but this are just a few of them which are quite popular because a lot of new ones have appeared recently. The examples I gave are casinos completely based on blockchain and they are all provably fair, meaning you can check every single bet made on their website so there is no chance someone could cheat, not even the owners of the websites since every information is available publicly for everyone.

I think that cryptography exists only as a payment. The same thing happens on the stock exchanges. You bring your bitcoins to the stock exchange, perform dozens of trading operations, but your stock wallet remains motionless.
Most gambling sites only use bitcoin as payments like those sites that are already popular in this forum. However, there are some sites that use blockchain as the basis of their gambling system even though we don't find many sites because it is less popular with other gambling sites and can even be caused by members not understanding the workings of blockchain-based gambling sites.

I think that ordinary player gambling sites do not care if the casino works on the blockchain or not. For players, it is important that they can add bitcoins to the site and easily wisdray them. Also it is important to them that the game was fair and interesting.

You can play gambling with bitcoin but i do not think that the casino are blockchain based. All the casino are centralized and they only use bitcoin as money to gamble, deposit and withdraw.
We are yet to see block chain based casinos which will be decentralize ofcourse.

I think bitcoin casinos are not based on blockchain, it is simply created outside the blockchain. It works same as how real life casinos work, the only difference is that the form of payment is via cryprocurrency.
Some casinos are blockchain based. And for some they're not. But, if we are talking about provably fair in here(based on OP's question and second question) provably fair is not based on blockchain. We are using verifiers for it not to be bias. Sometimes, we use 3rd party programs for us to verify our bets.

Most casinos are only regularly based but there are also those that provide blockchain based casinos like Tron. Such casinos are rarely in demand by gamblers because all they need is a payment from the games they follow so the blockchain is only used as a payment in the form of bitcoin or altcoin. Not many people use blockchain-based casinos even though casinos like that make it easier for us to transparency the game so we won't feel cheated by the bookie because we can monitor it transparently.

There are casinos that are blockchain based but I did not see it popular.
Most casinos that offers games like dice are based on provably fair system and it can be verified that the system is accurate.
The blockchain system is very useful for the payment system, we can play it anytime since these casinos are online 24/7 same with out payment processor.

Bitcoin casinos are run on the blockchain because they use contract address for all transactions and that is only made possible using the blockchain. Each play is associated with a unique bitcoin address which will be used for all deposits from the player.

Crypto casino and traditional currency casino are the same cause the players are all treated with the probably fair deal and run on off chain which always result in house edge base on the centralized mode of operations, cosino deposits are either done in faint and some time with cryptocurrencies that is for the cosino that have the feature to accept crypto deposits.
