Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

The profit that can be obtained from altcoins is indeed very promising but you shouldn't invest in many new projects because we never know what will happen to these projects sometimes they can provide fantastic profits but many more will turn to ashes so in the end you will only see Your initial capital investing in altcoins will just break even without big profits. You must do research before deciding to buy altcoins and always follow developments from altcoins because sometimes the changes in the altcoin market are so out of control in a very short time. Altcoins not surviving after a bull run is a problem for many junk coins which is why it is important to get out of the market before it becomes too late.

I really wants to know from the high members those I think that knows more than me on altcoin. I have came to understand that whenever we are heading close to bull or just say nearly we always have new projects launching on a regular basis to stand a chance to enjoy the bull trend as well I often noticed cmc are being flooded with shitcoins in other for them to attract investors, who will invest in their project to enjoy the full wave of bull market  and after which there comes a delisting of many since they can't afford to meet up the exchange standard. Example of those exchange are Binance, any token or coin that got listed in their exchange without meet up to the standard they quickly gets delisted quickly.
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

If you are planning to hold the tokens of the altcoin project for a longer time and not just for a few weeks or so, then you definitely should do your research before investing because obviously at the moment 99% of all the altcoins that are launched are stupid and useless meme-coins and those will be dead again withing a few days. Some of them will survive for a few weeks maybe but that's it.
There are also a lot of altcoins out there that have great potential and that are really trying to do something and to offer some functionality to it's users. So if you pick an altcoin from the top 50 that you like, then this project should also have pretty good chances to survive the bear markets too.

Everything depends on your appetite for risk, personally even if I know that shitcoins can go up in value during a bull run, I do not waste my time or money with them as there is no guarantee at all that I am going to pick the correct coin.

However those are my preferences, there are many other investors out there that like to take the risk as they think the reward is worth it, however just picking a coin randomly is a huge mistake and if you want to maximize your chances of picking the right coin then you need to study hundreds of coins before picking a few to invest in them.

During you can earn profit if not allowed for investing in any altcoin, but I have specific altcoin for investing and looking with current market standing position in 10th placed or not. No recommended invest in shit coins and coin under 100th position standing on coin market cap, usually ETH is my favorite altcoin for investing and consistent earn 3% until 5% in daily day depend when investing and time for selling. Not worth invest in any altcoin without research about their fundamental is potential coins or not.

Scammers often engage in such activities because they know that during a bull run, even their low-quality coins can be easily sold or sometimes even pumped. However, these developers only care about making money and don't prioritize the actual project. We see many new projects coming and very few of them manage to survive. Therefore, I believe that it is important to focus on good projects because there is a higher chance of incurring losses when caught up in the hype. I would recommend against taking risks and instead rely solely on authentic coins, as this would be the safest option. It is unpredictable how new projects may turn out, and some projects have a tendency to quickly deceive investors.

There are many tricks and ways of operating an altcoin in this market, from the supposedly top projects to the low-cap ones. We can clearly see the hype in bull cycles, emerging trends and sometimes unrealistic ideation that is only attention grabbing but not useful. But on the positive side, it is also an opportunity to spread information about this field to more people, I see whether the altcoin environment is sustainable or not because of each person's assessment of it. While interests with specific audiences are different, it is difficult to find a common ground, which is nonetheless part of the nature of this school, diversity makes it easy for people to choose as well as different experiences together.

There is no guarantee you must make profit investing in a newly launched project or altcoin, the first poster already made it clear.
But if you like altcoin there are some of them that are trusted and reliable so just locate them and make your analysis to see if suitable with you or not, otherwise bitcoin is the best maybe if changing of mind then buy ETH, BNB, MATIC.
We should buy the coins that will make a profit. Altcoins There are many good coins that we need to find out. Altcoins have good coins as well as bad coins. If I can invest in good coins then I can make a profit.  If we invest in coins once then our money will be lost. So we have to stay away from these coins. Always invest in good coins.

There's nothing wrong with one involving himself with altcoin investment but let it be that you have chosen the right coin to invest, secondly altcoin have 89 percent to fail when you put your money inside of it. So I always advise people to look for the ones that are trusted and reliable before putting your money, yes I said it that altcoin are also good but likelihood of one make huge profit is 50/50.

Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

I mean, you can. Most altcoins are short lived anyway, you're better off trying to profit off of them at a say a month or two max, anything longer would just give diminishing returns, well at least for most coins, but hey if they really were good, it wouldn't be too late to invest on it again after at least guaranteeing that you've profited.

I definitely would avoid investing in altcoins for the long term though. I'd only ever know if it was a good investment for one in the future, and judging by the number of new altcoins, I wouldn't really take my chances.

It depends on you dude, and you already know the answer. Now, you have to think again before action. you have to know several altcoins have risks to investing because doesn't meet up the exchange standard. If I were you I'll be careful to invest in altcoins that don't have top ranking again. As far as I know, Altcoin is widely used as a stopover only, many traders take advantage in Altcoin if the Bitcoin price is sideways, then, after Bitcoin back on track, they sold their altcoin and back to Bitcoin, because of that we often to see altcoin highly dump when bitcoin pump.

It will not be wise decision to invest in new launching altcoins, because so many SCAM projects. So that if i have enough fund i want to invest in Bitcoin without any hesitation, it’s safe investment even in long term than altcoins. I will recommend a few altcoins such as Bnb,Eth,Matic these are potential coin to invest right now for the long term.

Don't think so. We should not invest in any Altcoin. Investing must be done wisely. We must choose a trusted Altcoin. So that the money we invest does not disappear into dust.

I'm interested to know how you define a "trusted Altcoin" please?

But you're missing the point from the question. Investing in altcoins to generate x amounts is still possible right now. The money won't disappear as long as we was only putting it intot he legit coins but OP asked how big possibility for him to gain x return from his investment in altcoin. Investing in altcoins to gain specific return makes more sense rather than invest in the native coin which has been trading at the top.

Altcoin posses a higher level of risk as compared to Bitcoin and we have many more altcoin whose project are dead and as such could be called Shitcoin. Most of these tokens or altcoin are still available on exchanges and could be bought, some pump and dump scheme utilizes this approach to enrich themselves while taking advantage of the newbies. To be on the safe side, it's best to DYOR before purchasing altcoin.

I think you have answered your own question. Altcoins are only created to make a profit. It doesn't matter how it happens, whether it's x on the exchange or your investment, which will eventually be lost, meaning i.e. your money will go to someone else. The result is always the same, someone makes a profit and someone loses money. For altcoins it is a normal cycle.

I have to disagree. There are projects out there that you can invest in that can mix TradFi with DeFi. When you have a crypto project backed by a fund that relates to the token price then its different. The fund brings in traditional money to the crypto space, so its not a case of just buying an altcoin, handing over the money to the developers and them running away with it. I agree that is all to common but there are other alternatives.
So far, I don't know of any projects that are not shitcoins, which come and go. Only trends and coin names change. I can probably only name a few of the older projects that have uses It's ETH, Monero, probably exchange token BNB. The rest DeFi, meme, smart contracts, NFT are just rubbish, which more often leads to loss of money than profit. So once you have bought a coin and made a profit, you need to sell it and forget about this project.

Its sad that this is so true. It's so hard for proper projects to make it. Have a look at this one though and tell me what you think? I'd be happy to hear any feedback:

Before investing in any new coin's, have to make a research about the project and also the team involved, base on that, Coin to list in Binance Exchange has amount of funds to be able to trade in Binance Exchange specific, so not all alt-coins or new coin's that just listed in coinmarketcap now invest in.

it's not uncommon when the market is in a positive trend or close to bullish many new projects appear because the team hopes that when listing their token prices they are also in a positive trend. if you want a short term investment and take advantage of the moment it doesn't matter but for long term investment you should not. as you said if after a bullish many new tokens are delisted because they do not meet the requirements, this happens because most investors want to secure the profits they get when they are bullish.
