Low supply cap coins are always a good option. You want to buy early but not too early, you have to be aware of the risk involved with new very recently traded coins. Everybody wants to find the next Shiba Inu but it’s quite hard to do this. Sometimes it’s a good idea to buy somewhat established coins like ADA. Just make sure you DYOR & don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.

Not every project that launched in the bull period will go green before dying so don't take such risks cause it seems too blind. When you have the only intention is to make money then why not go with the existing projects that survived few cycles so atleast you could avoid the uncertainty part and expect something as returns in the next cycle instead of nothing.

The reality is that investing in altcoins is not a simple way to make instant profits and there is no guarantee of investment results. However, if you want to invest in altcoins, you should thoroughly understand the project, technology, development team, and community of that cryptocurrency. It is important that you invest in a company that has a solid investment and long-term growth potential.

Also, just investing in a certain altcoin is not the best way to invest. Instead, you should learn about different industries to find potential projects and invest in various cryptocurrencies to minimize risk. Furthermore, you also need to be wary of cryptocurrencies that don't meet the standards and don't have a strong developer team and community.

All in all, investing in altcoins can be profitable, but research and decisions need to be made with a sense of caution.

I really wants to know from the high members those I think that knows more than me on altcoin. I have came to understand that whenever we are heading close to bull or just say nearly we always have new projects launching on a regular basis to stand a chance to enjoy the bull trend as well I often noticed cmc are being flooded with shitcoins in other for them to attract investors, who will invest in their project to enjoy the full wave of bull market  and after which there comes a delisting of many since they can't afford to meet up the exchange standard. Example of those exchange are Binance, any token or coin that got listed in their exchange without meet up to the standard they quickly gets delisted quickly.
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

I think you have answered your own question. Altcoins are only created to make a profit. It doesn't matter how it happens, whether it's x on the exchange or your investment, which will eventually be lost, meaning i.e. your money will go to someone else. The result is always the same, someone makes a profit and someone loses money. For altcoins it is a normal cycle.

I have to disagree. There are projects out there that you can invest in that can mix TradFi with DeFi. When you have a crypto project backed by a fund that relates to the token price then its different. The fund brings in traditional money to the crypto space, so its not a case of just buying an altcoin, handing over the money to the developers and them running away with it. I agree that is all to common but there are other alternatives.

Investing in just any altcoin you see is like throwing your money to the winds and hoping that you get want you want. To get results there's need for careful planning and strategies. This requires intensional effort to find out about the validity of a project and the possibility of increase in value. There are several projects in the cryptocurrency market that have no bearing and are moving towards demise, so taking time to get information about projects would help you avoid such projects.

If you're investing on any altcoins, know that it has risk involved because you can't rely on what people are saying concerning any altcoins than what you have researched about it and know, remember they make use of influencers to promote their projects and they wouldn't say anything contrary to scare you away from investing on them but the community like this will discuss with you and come out straight that many altcoins projects are fake and risky to invest, but you can go for th if you also think you're good enough having such boldness on investing in them at your own risk.

Altcoins at low prices are indeed an opportunity to make some x in return,
try to look at the chart of altcoins you can see a decrease to -80% or even -90%,
if someone who is smart takes advantage of the situation then it is an opportunity for him, of course Of course,
you also have to think about the previous strategy so that you can get a good return later too.

From what I can see and my own opinion about altcoins is: High risk, high reward.
Because all of the time since the beginning, there are already a lot of altcoins that come and go, and Bitcoin always stays. So the chance that altcoin will survive over time is extremely low, but if you properly enter a position before they will leave, the reward is high. Remember, investing in altcoins can be speculative, and not all projects will succeed.

I agree that CMC being flooded with shitcoins everyday is a pain in the rear for those who are researching about new projects to invest in. But they all yeild the same result : poor teams, badly managed tokenomics and lack of market making capability. Hence the impetus for doing research also drops and you eventually lose interest in buying newly launched coins. It is a correct step because the shitcoins rarely have any good outcome.

I would suggest only going for top five altcoins and bitcoin. Rest are only for short term gains if done in an expert manner..
you are absolutely right about the fact that the market for new projects is littered with really unnecessary altcoins, and the most important thing is that these useless altcoins really flood the market for projects, after which you don’t want to not participate in the bounty or invest in the project at all, because you think that the project will be unsuccessful

Binance is making huge profits from altcoin market by changing the criteria for listing and deletion and it will became harder with time as they developed a new system under the name of innovation, which aims to be an area for these projects before they are launched.
You will find the details here https://www.binance.com/en-IN/markets/coinInfo-innovation-zone

Therefore, relying on the fact that listing will lead to an increase in token price will not be easy because they monitor projects and determine when they want to pumping to list that token or add it to main page, and when they want dumping it is easy by sending them to the innovation list (Soft delist).

When investing in altcoins, keep these questions in mind:

  • Why invest?
  • What is the investment opportunity that I see that no one else sees?
  • What are the new values for that token?

Unless you have clear answers to these questions, it is best not to invest.

Lets choose ETH

Why invest? The price showed a continuous increase over the previous years.
What is the investment opportunity that I see that no one else sees? It is the only currency that works on the principle of proof of stake, and if it succeeds, it will achieve a good return on investment.
What are the new values for that token? Excellent management of smart contracts.

There is no guarantee you must make profit investing in a newly launched project or altcoin, the first poster already made it clear.
But if you like altcoin there are some of them that are trusted and reliable so just locate them and make your analysis to see if suitable with you or not, otherwise bitcoin is the best maybe if changing of mind then buy ETH, BNB, MATIC.
We should buy the coins that will make a profit. Altcoins There are many good coins that we need to find out. Altcoins have good coins as well as bad coins. If I can invest in good coins then I can make a profit.  If we invest in coins once then our money will be lost. So we have to stay away from these coins. Always invest in good coins.
Regarding good altcoins, of course we need to do research before buying,
if talking profit making coins obviously top coins are good choice especially for long term investment,
which obviously isn't easy finding good altcoins and it takes time.

I think its a case to case basis. It doesnt mean it got listed on Binance that token or project could go up when bull market happened. Some projects even old one can do a potential movement on bull season provided they are really working on their development. But if you are a long term holder then investing on bear market just like now would definitely give you an advantage on current prices.

New projects are interesting too but you need to pick a good contender and has a lot of room for growth.

It must be noted if you must invest in legit altcoins. Think about that since the marketcap of some altcoin quite low at this moment and it gives more possibility to make x return compared with major coin which has been growing up so high. That's it.

It will be a wise decision to invest in altcoins.

Don't do that. Don't just invest with any coin just because you want to maximize your profits in the bull run. Pick wisely.
If you think Bitcoin will be the starter of the bull then invest with and sell if you see profits to your liking or you could just store it because more pumps will happen in the future.
When it comes to Altcoins, you may also want to pick the best, the top seeds as much as possible because a bull market always starts with them and not with the coins that are down below. Just because they are cheap doesn't mean you will just purchase them and reap the rewards later. There's a possibility that it will go the other way or worst, you will end up with dust or nothing.
It's suicide if you think they will all be pulled up during a bull run, some of them will likely stay in their value and some will go down. Remember, this ain't like the past, we have stablecoins now where they can trade their altcoins unlike before where it will be traded to another altcoin just to maximize the rewards.
