As per Coinmarketcap Ethereum touch its all time high on Nov 10, 2021 (14 days ago) $4,859.50 but unable to cross $5000. Ethereum currently trade @ 4256..... I thin Ethererum cross 5000 berear by the end of december 2021.
the current situation is indeed not in a state to improve. it seems like what you think that $5K is likely to achieve is likely to be difficult to do, other than there is a very significant change along with bitcoin to increase sharply. The last ATH should be done before it reaches $5K. because now all are in the same correction.
Very good opinion and I also see the same thing as what you said where the level for the price of $5K looks like it really needs more time for Ethereum to reach and the correction should be finished soon.

Since this is an old question lets posit if we can see 6k by end of month here. To answer that question, its not likely we get to 6k end of month but I think 5k is likely to obtain again and make support for the end of the run.

We already see ethereum can reach $4,800 before, so I guess ethereum can reach $5k soon, especially if the market can go up. But I am not sure if the price can hit $6k this year as $5k is not yet reached. If ethereum can hit $5k this month or next month, ethereum can have a chance to go to $6k in the next month or the beginning of the following year. The key is how bitcoin will move because when bitcoin can have a good move, the altcoin will follow it. But who knows, with the down of bitcoin price can give the altcoins to have the next season so that can make ethereum to increase higher.

Yes just like how Bitcoin being denied to break 70k Ethereum is also being denied to break 5000$ finally so this means one thing and we need to wait for another try if Bitcoin and ethereum can take another ATH before the November month ends so there will be another high expectation in December.

We can always be optimistic but we have to be realistic at the same time, ETH will not reach $5000 if bitcoin will not recover.
The current price of bitcoin is below $60k after hitting its ATH, I think this would shake the market a bit.

It is now much more important to hold on to the $4,000 support line. The market is changing very quickly, not everything is as rosy as it seemed just a short time ago.
This week Ethereum has increased 23.90% but is still under $4K. Bitcoin has crossed the $50K price or is already at $51K and is almost heading towards $52K. Data-wise, Ethereum is not keeping up with the effects of Bitcoin's rising price and I'm not sure Ethereum will hit $5K later this month but I'm aiming for $5K by the end of the year.
Could you share more information that support your opinion that "Ethereum is not keeping up with the effects of Bitcoin's rising price", because afaik Ethereum usually follows the rising effect of Bitcoin's rising.
The data can be seen on the coinmarketcap website. Logically what happened this year when the price of Bitcoin had reached $52K, the price of Ethereum was still at $3.7 and $3.8.

Im thinking that the price might even surpass the $5k value before this year end. There's a minor correction now but still its over $4k.
That's on target if bitcoin will continue to be bullish, we have some minor drop, and we can't tell if it's just a minor correction. The thing is, the crypto market is very unpredictable, sometimes when we got hype, we don't see anymore the reality that the price is going down until we cannot sell anymore to minimize the losses.
Remember that this year is a bullish year, it could end this month or until December, so we have to be careful and do the timely action needed.
