There are few things currently not going with this it's ETH 2.0 because mostly this was expecting this year but now most community feeling it's going to be in 2023 just because of this we can face some problem otherwise it's doing great job, and we have too much confidence It's going to touch this figure.
On the other hand, this belief is not impossible because this year Ethereum has reached a price above $4K, if this month Ethereum returns to a price of $4K, then the opportunity to go above $4K is very likely.

Ethereum have grown in leaps and bounds over the years, I think we might see another ATH of ether prices before the end of year. Ether price ATH so far has been $4000 Which means that $5000is not really far fetched. Ether however may not reach $5000 This months has there are many uncertainties. But I 'm hopeful ether will hit $5000 soon!
At the early of this month we are about the pemistic with crypto market price because it experienced a quite big drops from bitcoin and affacted for most altcoins also. and we don't set much expectation on price growth especially on ETH.
After 10%+ crash, i'm just planned to hold ETH for a long time and not buying more until i saw this news recently.

The price prediction was made when ethereum was definitely in a high momentum so we can expect that all the answers are very positive and optimistic. But when the price suddenly drops, well the predictions have become varied too. One thing i am certain is that ethereum will greatly be affected once bitcoin crashes. However, if ethereum alone can outgrow bitcoin, ethereum will remain to be bullish at the end of this month. We just don't know on what price will it settle.

Everything had a drop, they are recovering these days and it is looking good. I wouldn't lose hope on ethereum this quickly, it is still doing fine. It is getting closer to 4k as well if you check the price and that means 5k is not a pipe dream neither. Do not consider "breaking the ATH" is similar in ETH as it is in btc or some other coins, it is already quite close to ATH as it is, and a bit of a decent run would mean it would be over ATH very easily, not saying 5k, just saying ATH which is lower.https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/

This is why I highly suggest that you should not give up this quickly, just because all of crypto had a fall doesn't mean that it will keep on falling and it is already recovering. This is the proof that we are doing fine and I hope that it will keep on making more profit in the near future as well. Would it be 5k this month? I am not sure, but it surely does look like it is doing fine so far in the past few days, if it keeps this up then it is totally possible.

I really hope for ethereum to reach $5,000 by the end of this month. But if I think it twice and by the fact right now, I think maybe ethereum will reach $4,000. But this is only my expectation and crypto market is full of surprises so we can hope for more than $4,000 or even more than $5,000.

News do affect the market and there's really a possibility that it will be reaching that price soon. We're both interested for bitcoin and ethereum as these cryptos are the best of them all.also, the $5k level for eth is not impossible to attain. if we will not see this price level this year, maybe early next year. if eth users will finally see the gas prices to be low, it will be again used by many.
but right now, there are emerging competitors offering cheaper fees. so right now, that's the first thing they need to address. because if not, those users who switched will have difficulty going back to eth network again.
I think about the fees, it's truly a concern that many have been thinking about. But with what see, it doesn't stop eth to be the choice of many because one good thing about it is many gas fees are being burned. It is every time we do a transaction and I think the total amount is already worth $1B of Ethereum that has been burned which is a good thing for holders part.
