There will be an announcement and some marketing push for this, and a lot of lead time, several months in advance before the actual ICO, para prepared lahat sumali kung gusto nila. Details to follow, kasi hindi ka pa alam kung ano exact parameters for the coin and the ICO, pero meron na ako kilalang devs na pwede gumuwa nito.

Ideally we want as many people as possible to join the ICO, while preventing spam, and most probably denominated in BTC kasi wala naman ibang paraan, then syempre meron mga campaigns at meron din konting airdrop para sa mga hindi makasali. Then ... take it from there.

I have not seen too many "country" coins succeed, but this will be an attempt to make one work, or at least have value for several decades to come.

I saw a thread earlier asking about Philippine based or targeted coins, and there have been a few attempts at a country coin. Is this really something that we are interested in?

The purposes for others was for remittances, for general investing, for bills payments and banking, for OFWs, for rewards, for points.

Would we like something similar to Bitcoin ATMs where you can buy and sell on a machine?

Do we want a free airdrop? Or an ICO? Or a mixture of both? (Bounties of course will be available.)

Discuss.

But i dont see any point putting up a coin kung bitcoin palang wala ideya ang karamihan dito sa pilipinas

wow I really love the idea of having our own crypto here in the Philippines. Well in fact, kung mag kakaroon man tayo nito, makakatulong ito upang mas mapalaganap pa sa bansa natin ang cryptocurrency. Which is kung dadami ang tatangkilik sa Blockchain Technology, mas mapapalapit tayo sa pagiging desentralisadong bansa sir.

Regarding with ICO, as long as it is supported by financial institutions, I think it's okay.

If there will be one, it will be with ICO. If it will be with ICO, it will have no support by any financial institution, for sure.

Pero sa tingin ko, in our case, we are more on capitalism for sure madali yan magkaroon. Philippine altcoin, mukang maganda pakinggan kapag mayroon na nyan.

Yes, maybe someday all country will replace their FIAT into Digital Coins, so every country will be able to have their own coin to spend. I don't know about its supply though.

Maganda sana kung free ditribution o airdrop and no ico sana parang weekly airdrip ni DeepOnion.

I think its a bit early to touch on this topic because in the first place people are not that aware of what Bitcoin is and how it works. We have to conduct a survey first on how many people are well educated about this and then we can proceed to tackle having our own coin.

Regarding with ICO, as long as it is supported by financial institutions, I think it's okay. I support the idea of having our own coin but not as of the moment because we are not prepared as a country yet.
